    hi all

    anyone know where i can get some reels of adhesive velcro strip? got to be quite strong in terms of adhesion (joining metal to metal)


    any ideas???

      I had to get loads of velcro a few years ago for making a C-3PO hallowe'en costume and found that fabric shops are a good bet. I can't remember the name of my local one that I went to but basically anywhere that sells all sorts of materials for clothes-making, furniture coverings etc may well have rolls of velcro available.

      EDIT: Just been reliably informed that the word I was looking for to describe the type of shop is haberdashery

            I buy 25 metre rolls of it from a wholesaler, much cheaper the B & Q or Homebase.
