        Re: Snowwwww?

Thats something that concerns me, all my robot stuff is out in my garage, I'm hoping the cold doesn't effect the electronics in the robots, considering I have over £800's worth of speed controllers, transmitters and receivers out there

          Re: Snowwwww?

anything of value is in a box in my wardrobe, or my feathers are under my bed because i'd rather not leave them outside in something thats out in all weather or could be easily broken into, and my heavy chassis is in our outhouse thing which is a bit more secure, i no theives n that are more interested in drills n bikes n what not, but theres always a thought in the back of my mind seeing as its not finished and can be easily moved about and how it's basically alot of scrap metal someone cud have off with it :S

          - not exactly snow related but there ya go lol

              Re: Snowwwww?

i shove most of my stuff into a locked filing cabinet, as for my heavy i was thinking maybe bike locking it to the floor or something. i probably should start some higher security stuff and moving stuff in, i do move hydraulic stuff in though (not sure what temperature hydraulic fluid can freeze at but better be safe than sorry )

                Re: Snowwwww?

I can remove my Wotty but removing my Victors is more problematic, and I can't bring the robot in here, my parents won't have it

                      Re: Snowwwww?

dave thought about wrapping it in blankets? lol that might help, also just get some chain and chain it to a table or something thats what i was planning on doing when my heavy gets a bit to heavy to move about so easily

and yeah jamie, wen i got it i only saw the back first so read it, then turned it over and was like LOL ok fair enough :P

                                Good luck Dave!

I once drove an Automatic 645 in the snow, that wasn't fun.
