  • Burkert Valves

Does anyone know where I can buy one of the big 1 burkert solonoid valves that used to be popular for a while?I think I may have bought one from technobots years ago but dont see them listed on the site today. Pressure only needs to be 10 bar but ports must be 1 and seals must be oil resistant. Can these things be obtained for sensible money?

You missed the bit where I said cheap. Something that RS doesnt have a reputation for.

No, but cheap and not in stock doesn't help you either. Besides I've never found a 5404 (that's the 1/2) cheaper anywhere else.

Most pneumatics places should do them, if not RS part nos. 257-9069, 370-0157,488-778. i doubt you will get a 1 valve for less than £100, if all else fails have a look around ebay!

I seem to remember paying around the £100 mark for the 1000psi rated one a few years back. was kinda hoping a 10 bar version would be half the price or so.

To be honest you could probably get a little 20mm or so bore cylinder, big ball valve and 5/2 solenoid valve for not a whole bunch on ebay or as surplus, and do it that way... if you're going for high flow that is. The orifices on those valves aren't terribly big afaik...
