I bought a few 45 amp andersons for a pull link, I made them all up adn im pretty sure teh metal bits are all the way in but the pull link pulls out very easily and it dosent click when it goes in :/. I just soldered em up and pushed them in, is there another step i missed ?

Re: cant get my andersons to "click".
I also destroyed my first set of andersons but I do quite like them now i find deans quite hard to pull apart sometimes, maybe just my fat fingers?
Anyway andersons arnt ment to be soldered your ment to crimp the wire inside the sleve. Also theres a useful guide telling you how to put them together and remove the metal inard here.
Hope this helps

Re: cant get my andersons to "click".
That link was great thanks. from the cross section view it seems the solder got too far up the metal bit so i doubt its fixable even if i do get them out again. Ill be more carefull next time then ^^.
Thats the reason i love deans hehe, i used tamiyas before adn they had a lovely habbit of comming out half way througha fight. Never had a deans connector fail yet.
