i think Jason would make a great presenter, personally i think fws would work best in todays world on tv but thats a a biased view

Well done guys a great item on The Gadget Show, you did a great job building the robot in such a short time, even with the teething troubles, I hope the Gadget Show live event goes well.
With regards to robot TV shows, Hopefully the Gadget Show will help raise the profile of the sport to the general public again, I personally don€™t think the TV companies will be beating a track to us for a new Robot Wars series. We are enthusiastic about robots, the TV companies are enthusiastic about making money in a tight economic environment, I am sure the TV series would have a faithful following but the number would be relatively small. The only way would be to go Featherweight class using an arena that is already made and a small audience to keep costs down, maybe someone would be interested, but I am sure this has been tried and there has been no luck.
Robot Wars 2 I€™m not holding my breath.
Still this item on the Gadget Show was a really good thing well done I really enjoyed it.

Hello guys

Thank you for the excellent comments. The Gadget show turned out really well and we are all really pleased with the footage. Jason and one of the chaps from the show said its one of the best they have created and they are so pleased with it. Hopefully it will raise interest in our sport.

At the Gadget show live we would like to have on display all the robots that appeared on the show. Also run demonstrations of a few select machines. In between these the audience will get to have a go on our robots.

Regarding a Uk Champs. we are always looking into the different possibilities and we will keep you updated with any information we have.

Great show guys I thought it was very well done.

But I can't halp think that a channel like Dave would snap up an offer from Robochallenge or any other EO really. It might not be as popular as it once was but I think there would still be an audience for it (deffinatly more so than some of the crap they show...). Just my 2 cents, I dunno if anyone's tried getting into contact with a smaller channel about this?

Shame there was a lack of advertising for robochallenge for all the effort put in.. 360 looked awesome in the pre-fight shots though and it was good fun so im happy

I just saw the episode too. Really funny although I question how manually slamming a robot with a circular saw with almost no protection and firing a blinding smoke screen qualifies in the safety charts. How could you let them win, Dave? Brilliant show though.
