It's been fun (I think!)

All,
As of midnight my term as Chairman of the FRA comes to an end. The last 5 years have been to say the least... interesting!
There has been many highs and one or two lows, but given everything that has happened since we were last on TV, I'm pleased to see we are still going strong with many live events around the UK and further afield.
We have seen many new teams and machines arrive on the scene some of which have been more than a challange to us 'old guard'! As a result I have confidence that we have a bright future ahead of us.
I wish to put on the record my thanks to Andy Kane, our outgoing president, all the members of the committee (both past and present), the event organisers and last but not least all of you for making this strange hobby of ours such a sucsess.
I now pass the torch to our new chairman, Kane Aston who I know will take the FRA forward to bigger and better things, our new forum is only the first step.
Also good luck to Karoline as our new secratery (Note to the new committee, god help you if your paperwork is not in order!!)

As a long time FRA member and recent committee member I would like to say thank you for your great effort and contributions to both the sport and the FRA. I will look forward locking horns with you in the arena with our robots again.

I now pass the torch to our new chairman, Kane Aston who I know will take the FRA forward to bigger and better things, our new forum is only the first step.

And a great step it is. I will look forward to working with Kane as much as I have with you.

(Note to the new committee, god help you if your paperwork is not in order!!)
