Is there a list of robot names that have already been taken anywhere on't web? I have a name for my yet to be built robot but don't know if it has already been used. As far as I have been able to determine it hasn't been but I'd hate to use a name that somebody is already using. I'm hoping to call it 'Hellion'.

If you really want to upset Andrea of Roaming Robots go for Russian names.
For some weird reason she can't pronounce Kashei Bessmertye or Malenkaia Baba Yaga.
Mind you, she has trouble with Dutch and German names as well.

As far as I'm aware there's no robot called Hellion at the moment. The closest I can think of is Helios in the USA but I think the differences are obvious enough, plus that's on the other side of the pond.

Coolio! I'm provisionally bagsying it then. I might as well start designing some kind of logo now since it could be months before I get enough parts to start actually building anything. The motors cam today though - Graupner 720BB Torque. Hmmm... what to get next?
