Proposed 100kg weight rule - East Mids and Yorks area discus
But Craig, have you considered the possibility of a trans-dimensional ant weight? One that although it occupies volume in our space/time has no mass!
QED.. one antweight... ZERO grammes!
NO?
Ok Craig, just for you, Ill change it on the final version.... Happy?
(You just cant please some people!)

Actually its mass is about 10 times that of the sun mass of the sun (sun = 1.98892 — 10^30 kg) but, instead of being matter, it is antimatter so biscuits dunked in there get flung back out at about 4 times the speed of light and are never seen again.
Anyway - I digress

Geoff, now that we have a sensible solution to the 100kg weight limit issue and it is about to be written into the rules would it be an idea to add the Raptors (max 6kg I believe) into the scheme as well?
The Americans, Dutch and Robochallenge (forgive me guys if Ive got the name wrong!) appear to run them already so they will probably, eventually end up at R.R., R.L. etc. as well.
Ive put this on the forum instead of directly to the F.R.A. for imput from the roboteers.
Mike.

One issue with Raptors, they are not the same as the US 6 kilo robots. The Raptor class has more restrictions. If you put in a 6kg class call it hobbyweight like the Americans do, not Raptor.
Raptor weight is a GRA standard and if you want to run Raptors at an event I feel you should enforce the GRA raptor rules, just like DRG does. A raptor is not just a 6kg featherweight.

Thats why we decided to run as featherweight FRA rules at the European champs, Although we called it the raptor class (sorry for the confusion) as it meant every one could join in, and it seemed like most were running to that sort of spec anyway.
