It was mentioned before that Dave was looking to either a upgrade of the existing arena or a complete new one. Maybe he decided an upgrade was not worth it and wants to sell this one to build a fresh one.

But Dave will answer that himself i bet.

This arena is famous! Its the arena used in the CSI: Las Vegas episode Heavy Metal (clip from CSI below.)

I saw the making of that when i was in Vegas. Its a kewl arena.

In British labourer maths thats 2 crews of 8 (including 1 ghost worker per shift drawing full-time wage to share out between other 7)
8 hour shifts? Of course theres lunch (1hr out of shift), and tea breaks (4 x 30 mins), ciggy breaks (approx 15 per shift), time to chat (another hour), initiation ceremony of trainee (15 mins), explanation of initiation ceremony to local police (3hrs plus overnight lockup in cell necessitating another 8 hours at overtime rates).....

It is one hell of an arena.

I thought the floor was 12mm steel, the Judge was putting the odd hole in it.

The Super heavies can only just be contained in it with virtually no safety margin.
Heavies and below, no problem.

I think that the sales picure was taken on the saturday at the recent robogames
