Tom, will he be going to Santa Pod sometime then? Thats if he goes racing again, after he has finished the car.

        Power Tool Racing.

The first powertool drag racing in the UK was really good fun. James won, Ian Lewis came second and I came third, all within about 0.2 of a second difference.
We expect to be there for this one too, and hopefully some more contenders

the car is being sent off for the cage changing abit so my dad can get in it abit more easily as hes slipped a disk in his back. we get it back at the Nostalgia Nationals at Shakespeare County Raceway, then it just needs wiring, exhaust and a radiator and a few bits and bobs. he wants to run it at the Hot Rod Drags.

                  Power Tool Racing.

hade a great weekend. my dragster (2006 champ) snapped its motor during its first test... hit the end when there wasnt enough cushoning doh!

the new dragsters from John and Nick are getting very speedy! competition keeps banning all the new ideas i come up with though... dont they john :P

Great event, look forward to next year!

                    Power Tool Racing.

Just looked at eurodragster, there is a report on this event. Not much about the tools more about who was there, from the dragster and car comunity. Does mention a belt sander toaster....
I wonder who that was from? Also says it was the first year of the event. Think they will find its the second.
Look on http://www.eurodragster.comwww.eurodragster.com in the 10th August section, for A Display of Power

Sorry about the doubble post, got called away. Just a though to John Reid:- I think as the chainsaw powered ride-ons, are mentioned in the report. But they do not have any pics, you should contact them. To offer them yours. Use the Send a News Item part to contact them.

Its a shame theres no mention of my twin 2.5Kw angle grinder bike:sad:
I suppose its because the couldnt get power outside where the ride-ons were tested untill after the event.
Had great fun, and next year will be even better.
