Does anyone know how many people are in the FRA or registered on the FRA forum?

just wondering how big the sport is in terms of numbers

We carried out a recent audit of teams out there and the FRA membership represents a minority of teams with robots, but the majority of active teams that take part in live events.

There are literally hundreds of heavyweight robots out there, with the majority of the owners saying that if the show returned to TV theyd return and compete.

The forum has around 700ish members, however of those the proportion that make regular use is around 10% of that.

Even in the Netherlands and Belgium we know that there are at least 25 heavyweights gathering dust in a shed or such.

Its a bit dead in Sweden though. About 1 or 2 heavyweights, 2-4 Featherweights and the majority of ants is about 5-7 and decreasing...
