Hello,
I have begun working on a web site that will allow event organisers to post details of their live event, and then roboteers and members of the public can then search to find an event that meets their criteria (be that a specific city, country or weight class). Kind of like a Google advanced search, but just for live events.
I would like to know what features you would consider useful. I already plan to make a e-bay style feedback system so you lot and members of the public can then rate the event and leave a short comment. There will also be a newsletter that anyone can sign up to, that will automatically send out news of new events.
After signing up for an account, event organisers would then have a profile page created for them, and they would then be able to access the control panel, where they can add, edit or cancel events. Also, once the event is over they can add a report of it, and people can leave comments.

Note that the blue rectangle is where the name would be but as I havent finalised it yet I decided to leave it out.
This site is one of a few that I am creating to build up a portfolio of work, and once it is finished, I plan to release the code behind it as a free download that anyone can then use for a great variety of things.
