      Paintball minigun

ive played airsoft against a bb minigun...
very impressive, but not much we can do against one man and 6000 bbs per minute (100 per second!!)
search youtube, there are similar bb miniguns on there

            Paintball minigun

Well, a few points here. First, I have taken up paintball myself. I have even got my own marker ( its not called a gun. How sad of me to know that!). My gun ( SmartParts ION with ALL of the tweaks and goodies ) fires 17 BPS ( Balls Per Second ) at a max legal 300 Feet Per Second. That hurts! My marker has to have a power fed hopper to feed the balls.

Now, looking at that mini gun makes me ask 2 questions, every event bans totally all automatic weapons. Second, my gun uses gas (air, Co2 or nitrogen ) at 140psi (even less if the firebolt is fitted ( yep, I have that as well)) and to imagine a ball fired from 1500psi is unbelievable. Another question, how does one get Co2 to go to 1500psi?

Now, the big question, would I like that marker? hell yes! Would I fire it at people? Definatly no. Its dangerous. My marker will strip the skin of unprotected skin at short range. Imagine what that would do?

With so much pressure behind it i can imagine a lot of the balls bursting before exiting the barrel.

Then you have a large spray can, not a marker.

A possible way of working on unregulated CO2 for a full automatic marker is to use a very small let trough. But even then I see problems.
