Half finished heavyweight body for sale

Thought I'd list this with all the current interest in Robotwars at the min.

I got a local fab shop to weld me up an invertable wedge body a few years ago. It's sat in the back room for at least three years and I'm not going to do anything with it. It's 800mm x 800mm, 150mm deep and has a 45 deg wedge on the front. It's made from 3mm mild steel and my plan was to cut wheel holes and build a basic invertable pusher. It has a lip round the inside with threads so that the lid bolts down with no messing about. From memory it weighs in the region of 25 - 30kg ish.

I'm never going to finish it so would rather someone take it as a base to build on, it could be up-armoured with extra plating, and as it's an empty shell it's literally ready to accept which ever drive train you want to put in.

It's been kept indoors so is in good condition. I'm unable to courier as it's too expensive, so buyer can either collect, or I can meet at a motorway services within an hour or two of Blackpool.

I spent £350 all in. getting it fabricated but am open to offers over PM.

I was wondering the other day what happened to your heavyweight ambitions. I bet you have loads of interest with it coming back on the telly but if it is still going spare when the events start and you could lug it along I might be tempted - are you going to Manchester?

I got it made and hadn't really estimated the work and cash involved with a heavy and having a newborn baby all at the same time lol.

It's sat and sat and I've done nothing with it so it's like brand new lol.
