Heavy Weight Robot

It comes with great sadness, but i have have decided its time to let "Hard-Ox" go..

The past couple of months have become increasingly harder for me to spend time on the build, & its gotten that bad i have decided to leave the company completely and take a different career path.

Without being at the company, i will not be able to continue the build as i do not have the facilities or space at home.


I would like to sell everything as a package, this includes:-

• 2 Shells, both made from 3mm hardox, both are similar, one being shorter but fatter but both weighing around 35kg.
• 1 complete geared drive with 2x 750w Bosch Motors (Cost £500).
• 1 Duel channel 80A continuous (150A max) speed controller (still boxed) (Cost £475).
• 20kg spinning bar with heavy duty ball barings.
• Facebook page rights with over 100 followers.

Ive spend endless hours on the build and well over £1300 so far.

I would be willing to come down to £1000 for the lot.

I can include more Hardox, steel and Aluminium to help finish the build.

Sorry to hear about that man. I do hope you continue to be involved in robots (featherweight class maybe?) It was fantastic seeing someone doing such good quality work with different ideas and methods without an ego or an agenda. A rare thing! I hope you get the amount you're looking for. I don't have any interest in the lot as a whole but I'm sure you'll have plenty of sensible offers.

I'd love to keep hold of it as its something ive wanted to do since a teen! However its a mixture of workshop, money and knowledge that are the problems

The robot is still for sale..

There is also a high torque hydraulic motor and pump that can be included for an alternative weapon system.
Also have high quality chain and hydraulic oil.
