  • Team Picus clearout sale - Sabertooth 25A and Trevor regulator

Hello people of the FRA forum, please do not bite me for I come merely seeking your money in exchange for goods. These are from back when I was attempting to build a featherweight, with minimal success - hopefully someone can get more use out of them than me.

    Sabertooth 2x25A speed controller

This is a r/c dual motor speed controller that will happily go up to 5 cell lipo and 20ish volts of other batteries, if I am remembering Gary Cairns correctly. I bought it about eight years ago and it has barely been used - during that one use, though, the heatsink plate came off. I have attempted to reattach it with some leftover thermal paste from when I built my computer but it doesn't appear to have adhered well; the buyer may wish to apply a more permanent solution. It worked fine when I last tested it, but that was quite some time ago; hence it is offered for £50 plus postage. Would suit featherweight, high-powered beetleweight, or particularly unambitious or down-on-their-luck heavyweight.

    Trevor Wright regulator

This is...well, it's the FRA forum, so I imagine you, dear reader, already know what this is. (If you do not, it's a highly sophisticated analogue device for the reductive channelling of anti-phlogiston vapours to effect a powerful force, attested by alchemists and such others in the field as one of the finest and most suitable of such devices for our field.) It has a normal CO2 bottle nut (I have a normal CO2 bottle somewhere but have misplaced it so it is not for sale as of yet) and is unused as shortly after I bought it I realised I was probably not cut out for featherweights in general; I am asking for £30 plus postage. Would suit low-pressure pneumatic robot in most weight classes.

I have some other stuff I'll put up for sale as and when I find it, including a pair of 4QD-200 controllers and R/C interface (I'm not entirely sure why or how I have these but feel free to make me an offer if they're of use to you).

All offers to joey.mcconnell@removethisbit.picus.org.uk or by PM; I can post to the UK for free (and Europe for reasonable money) or I'll be in Clydebank on the 6th if anyone wants to pick up then.
