Good Evening all!
For sale is my featherweight invertible rambot, specs are:
*four GR02 24:1 18v gearmotors with modified 75mm robochallenge wheels. The motors are nearly new and completely sealed.
*5mm and 3mm mild steel welded monocoque chassis. Was professionally made so the welding is top notch!
*two hacked tz-85a ESCs, running the modified code for the spectrum dx6i Tx
*OrangeRX R620 receiver
*24v red strip leds as the power lights
*will throw in a bag of old spare motors and gearbox internals which can be used to convert the gearmotors to 36:1 (but I think you made need some washers that Gimson Robotics can provide for that)
*Ill also throw in some 5mm HDPE. One modification I never got round to was to replace the 5mm aluminum spacers above and below the gearboxes with some HDPE versions. The idea was to add a little shock absorption to the frame.
I'm looking for £300 for the bot and the spares but price is negotiable. EXCLUDED FROM THE SALE IS THE TRANSMITTER, CHARGER AND BATTERY (see below). I'd recommend the Spektrum DX6i, any high discharge 6s lipo that fits and a Turnigy Accucell 8150 charger.
**Turnigy 6s 5000mah 40-50c lipo battery available for an extra £35. Has been well kept and is a bit of a tight squeeze into the chassis. Nevertheless, its perfectly capable of providing all the power the ESCs can deliver. I will only be selling the lipo along with the bot.
In terms of delivery, i'll be attending the Deeside event at the end of September so can drop off there or the new owner can collect from me in person. I live near Dartford, about 10 mins from the Dartford bridge crossing.
