Rare Exhibition Poster from 1984 'ROBOTS' V&A Museum

I have acquired a very rare original poster from the Victoria and Albert Museum exhibition in August 1984 titled Robots .
The exhibition was put on in the 'Boilerhouse' (funded by the Conran Foundation) from the 1st August until the end of October 84. The exhibition looked at how robots came into being and also looked towards the future as to what and how robots might be used. I don't think they envisaged we would be fighting them as we do now!!

This is a extremely rare poster 100% original 25+ years old but still in fair condition its has been folded but no rips or tears and the corners are fine although there are drawing pin holes.

It would look amazing flattened out and framed.

Its offered here for just £50.00 including postage - I will send in a thick cardboard tube to protect it. I will accept paypal or payment directly into my bank account.

I had a kind note from a roboteer explaining that you guys need too watch the pennies so the poster is now reduced to just £30.00 including postage to a UK address.

As someone once told me, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

In this case I think you will struggle. The poster is far from in good collectors condition, it's not particularly interesting, I don't remember there being any big news headlines from that exhibition and I'd rather spend £30 on a speed controller than a poster as i'm sure many others would.

Sorry to sound so downbeat but I can't see you shifting it easily and you'd be better to throw it on ebay with the other rare robot wars toys that were mass produced and now being sold on.

why so antagonistic? If its not for you that's fine, there is however no need to publicly deride and critique it, I am aware its a simple process to knock things you don't recall or remember as insignificant.

Its a really simply process to offer an opinion on something you don't understand. You just open your mouth and start talking/typing. But all you end up doing is looking like someone who has far too much to say

This is a an original and rare item detailing a point in time that people may remember or look back on now or in years to come as significant or at the very least interesting, you find me another one anywhere. It will appreciate over time and hopefully give those that own it some enjoyment.

Always good to join a new forum then immediately criticise its members for giving their opinion, thats how I make friends and try to sell my things anyway...

We were set up next to an 8ft tall poster of young Gary at the Chariots event this year, I hear it's been off jaunting Britain at the moment too.

Looks remarkably like the one sold by W&H Peacock back in May 2012, right down to the creases and wear points, they had another with it too.
It looks better in their picture.
Ebay is your place, start it at 99p you might get some interest.
