  • Fleaweight

I'm going to sell my fleaweight in order to fund a second pneumatic ant project:
only competed at the last AWS/FWS so isn't too beaten up appart from a bite in the flipper.
    -3D printed nylon chassis
-2x turnigy 14g micro servos speedhacked with a case modification, as usual speedhacked servos are prone to coming unglued if you run them hard or for a long time but they are easy enough to reglue. all metal gears. quite nippy even on the 14mm rubber tyres.
-1x turnigy 14g all metal geared servo for the flipper, activated through a linkage.
-2 cell 7.4v lipo, 130mah high discharge (25c) turnigy nano tech.
-orange 2.4ghz reciever all the connections are soldered direct to the board. this will require your own 2.4ghz dsm2 transmitter. I can solder in a bind plug if somebody would prefer.
-There is a voltage regulator in the back to run the robot on 6v.
It currently has a quick polycarb skirt that I put on for the aws as I didn't have time to mount the carbon fibre Piece I made. I will include the carbon fibre moulded armour if anybody wants to have a go at fitting it.
It currently weighs 65.8g with the polycarb skirt.
this isn't a toy it was built to compete so anybody looking to purchase this to run around for hours on end this isn't suitable, it should be run for 5 minutes max to save burning out drive and over discharging the lipo.
any questions please ask, open to offers send me an email: josh.valman@hotmail.co.uk

The carbonfibre can be seen just placed around the robot here on the right: please note it cureently does not have any way of mounting it and this would have to be developed with some brackets or glue if you really must.

The single piece chassis and flipper arm can be seen uploaded to my shapeways account and viewed in 3d here:

      Re: Fleaweight

I am tempted by this, it would allow me to own both halves of the clusterbot from the AWS ;P I don't think I'd be able to properly look after the robot though...if it went without the carbon fibre shell would you consider selling that separately?

I have another slightly different shell if that's what you're after joey? it weighs 16.3g much thicker and more rigid but about the same size:
