Re: Lots of brand new featherweight parts

seems ashame to just give up thou, for the sake of £200 i'd just save all the bits and see how you feel about giving it another go after a while.

i've made a robot like last year from box section with a flipper- litterally finished it all off aswell- spent months on it, it all worked fine with the flipper-decided to put a buffer in it, and with how much extra power it had it destroyed the whole robot and wrote it off completly lol - completly bent the chassis- was a sad day

thanks, if i have my own workshop i would try steel again, trying to work in my mates garage is just a pain.

If I try again I think I'll use 10mm HDPE so I can build it at home

would you sell the 4 100mm robochallange wheels and the 2 electronize 30A speed controllers separately?

Re: Lots of brand new featherweight parts

Just how bent is the chassis? surely its repairable. Do you have a pic. Maybe a kind roboteer might be willing to spend a bit of time helping you get it back on track.

I don't think the offer is valid anymore as theres another thread with him and a fully functioning robot.

Come back in a few weeks to see that he's attached a circular saw and has just won the Uk championships.

                          This made laugh a lot.
But like it's been suggested, hang on to it.
You might get your enthusiasm back in a couple of weeks time and wished you'd never sold it.
