  • Roboteq AX2550 two channels 120A speed controller

Ive got an as new AX2550 unit for sale. Its untoutched in its original packaging. I have kept it as a spare unit but due to the ecnonomy crisis and everything else going on I realised I needed to free up some cash to continue my robot projects.

All information about the speed controller can be found at http://www.roboteq.comwww.roboteq.com

Give me an offer thats good for both me and you and the speed controller will be yours. I live in Sweden so shipping might be a bit more costy than within UK but nothing major.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need pictures or something else.

    Best regards
    Mrten

Im not really authorised to boast about it just yet. If you read my full story on the website you can see that I never got it running fully. During the test runs (at 12V with very low Amps) I managed to snap the axe weapon lever arm. (the gears were all ok thouhgh).

Long story short the failure was a result of my inexperience(I designed the robot being just a high school kid at age 17). I have now a couple of years at University in my baggage and a lot more practical experience as well. I have designed a new axe launch mechanism to be built from very sturdy truck chains. But its not really my current project, being so young and after spending thousands of hours at something seeing it break fatally its easy to be discouraged. So I put it on the shelf and designed an entire new robot instead. You will see more of it in year or so. The axe robot will be finished as well some day, but finding resources (workshop, skilled people, sponsors etc) and time!!! is as you all know kind of tricky.

Im glad you found to my website though.

Ok I just wanted to add the following:

The speed controller is still up for grabs, I will post a message here when its sold.

I did some research on the actual price of the controller here in Europe,480GBP inc VAT at http://www.active-robots.com/products/motorcon/roboteq.shtmlhttp://www.active-robots.com/product.../roboteq.shtml

480GBP is almost what you will end up paying if you want to import it legally (paying VAT and custom fees) and adding shipping etc from US.

I will give the controller away for 390Euros (Around 350GBP as of today), add to that 30Euros (25GBP) for shipping or 40Euros (33GBP) for insured shipping.

The controller is like brand new and I tested it yesterday without any problems (I have pictures that documents its in working condition).

          Cheers

Re: Roboteq AX2550 two channels 120A speed controller

I had almost forgot about this one, but as I had trouble paying my rent this week I will bump this thread and drop my asking price to 300 EUR or 256 GBP, ad to that 30EUR for shipping. International bank transfer is free within EU.

(I'm a student with no summer job so yes I'm poor, but the paying rent trouble was just about me forgetting the date )
