Snow in Nottingham i know cos it followed me all the way home.. started just as i left college to start my long trek then when i got on the tram it stopped then it snowed again when i was walking home so im now trying to get dry I HATE SNOW
It snowed lots here, but didnt set because the ground was wet, and then the snow turned back to rain. My dreams of building a proper snowman dashed yet again:sad:
My mother is living in the snow right now, the Belgian Ardennes have been blessed with up to 20 centimeters of snow. We had to be there last weekend, family obligations, and the dog just loved it. Critter is close to 11 years old now, arthritic, hardly any fat left on her bones, going bald... and spent most of Saturday night outside lying in the snow as happy as a pig in the mud !
But when she came in when we went to bed she installed herself on the large couch near the wood-stove and later that night I caught her sleeping belly-up and paws-up, basking in the warm glow of the banked fire.
The snow has gone here in Vilvoorde and it looks like we will have a dry and warm week (5°C).
Mike, my mothers chalªt is always open for friends.
If you can handle the chain-smoking feisty 62-year-old owner who drinks everybody under the table that is.
And she might drag you onto a horse for a wild ride through the woods too...
