  • Roaming robots question

    from the roaming robots site

When Team Storm decided to try and host the first World Championships out of Robot Wars, Roaming Robots were commissioned to build two brand new heavyweight house robots for them. However at the end of the project we elected to purchase the finished working chassis for our own show

any pictures of these house robots? was one of them similar looking to major damage?

        Roaming robots question

        Hiya,

I have some pictures somewhere i think... they were nicknamed The Twins . I built them for XFM.

One of them was used in the Doncaster Dome Winter tour final a few years ago.
I then rebuilt the working one with a new top shell, and it became Gripper.

I then used the spare chassis as a base to build Major Damage.
The other one has been broken down for parts and is about to be scrapped.

I do plan on building another hosue robot, but it wont be until late 2009 / 2010, for other reasons.

Hope this helps, any more questions, happy to help.

        John
