a lot of people have opinions on armour, most of which is regergatated second hand rubbish.

basically, hard armour works, soft armour works, but then sometimes it doesnt.
either way, if its held on securely it works, if its loose, it doesnt, but then sometimes this is the other way around.

follow my point?

i has many times JC,
the whole armour thing means nothing its how its mounted. id rather have a gash than a panel off anyday.
john reid told me hes gon throu 4mm hardox, well i disproved that with my 5mm mild
its down to how well the robot is made not the armour

lol, cmon JC, put 2 and 2 together. I effectivly say people talk rubbish, then post a completely self contradicting set of statements. Its called sarcasm, and is the first, and easiest step when learning wit.

lol. wbc isnt currently entered into the champs.

if anyone wants to club together to give me enough financial incentive to do it, i would be more than happy to have scorpion as my first opponent. genuine offer, make it worth the risk and you can have him fighting anyone.

incidentally, there is another robot that may be willing to take on scorpion. only 25% chance at the moment, as many things to sort out first, but if i can get everything ready in time, I should be surprising a few people. no promises though, lots to do in little time.

on another note, if i cannot get into the champs with this new machine, does jonno have any plans to use his new super arena again? ie, is this my only chance to run a heavyweight spinner?

An interesting observation ive made, Evil with one astro bent 2mm ti, and two layers of 8mm ally(separated by the wheels) in DB5 at Ipswich. Having rubber mounted the Ti and Evil having two astros a similar hit just cut through the ti.

BTW JB I will buy you a pint if you fight Scorpion but thats the best I can do atm!
