Youve turned down the imaginary £8000. Was that a wise decision?
Box 15 contains: £50!! Another blue sum of money!! An excellent start to this round!!
Box 6 contains: £100!! This is shaping up to be an excellent round!! One more blue and well be looking at an enormous sum of money from the banker!!
Box 10 contains: £3000!! *audience cheering and whooping* Not a blue, but a very low sum of money in the grand scheme of things!!
THE BANKER SAYS: YOURE PLAYING A VERY LUCKY GAME, BUT REMEMBER. THERE ARE ONLY A CERTAIN NUMBER OF BLUES, AND INEVITABLY YOU WILL HIT SOME OF THE BIG NUMBERS. THE OFFER FOR BOX 7 IS £27,400
Martyns vapour £27,400 is now safe, but did he deal too soon, or did he play the game perfectly?
Box 2 contains: £5000!! Not what we wanted to see, we need to find the high reds!!
Box 13 contains: £75,000!! Much better!!
Box 3 contains: £50,000!! Good, although the £100,000 and £250,000 remain.
THE BANKER WOULD HAVE NOW OFFERED, FOR FEAR THE £250,000 WAS IN BOX 7, £36,000
Box 9 contains: 5p!! Could your luck have gone even further??
Box 12 contains: £100,000!! *audience cheering* Thats what we wanted to see!
Box 20 contains: £250,000!! *audience whooping and cheering and clapping and stuff like that* You have obviously beaten the banker, and squeezed £27,400 out of him!
The American version is horrible. Instead of future contestants opening the boxes they have models, and you have to open ever-decreasing number of boxes (6 in round 1, 5 in round 2 etc.) Theres a good version on the NBC website though.
Alex Holt, you have randomly chosen box 17. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we want you to get a large sum of money and beat the banker. Good luck.
No it doesnt, the american version is too loud, too shoutly. It hasnt got the atmosphere of the uk verison, and also the models put you off your tea (thats another good thing about the UK verison, the people opening the boxes are going to be sitting in that chair one day)
