      A couple of questions

This is a call out for any rules you want to be changed, so far I have:
      - Competitors have to be Vapourbots
      - The weight limits are:
      - 100kg for wheeled robots (e.g. Tornado)
      - 120kg for shufflers (e.g. Son of Whyachi)
      - 150kg for ‚Ëœtrue‚„ walkers (e.g. Anarchy)
      - No flying robots are permitted
      - No purely passive robots are permitted (inc. bots with interchangeable wedges and the like.) However, this doesnt not include machines with Stinger-style weaponry as it actually swings.
      - Clusterbots are permitted, with no limit to the number of parts (but lets keep things realistic here ). I will also be using the rule that if 50% of the cluster is out, all of it is out.
      - There will be 4 set-ups only allowed for interchangeable robots
      - 60 Volt limit

      (nic... borrowed from steve)

So can anyone suggest any changes to the rules?

If not, sign-ups will start before the months out.

        A couple of questions

        Qustion on the set-up rule:

        1) Would me mountign slammers jaws horizontally or vertically (same weapon, slightly different position) could as one set-up or two?

        2) What weight category do the followign fall into: a) cheeky boy legs, b) tracks and c) screws

        3) Is the cluster rule 50% by mass/weight/volume or 50% of bots?

          A couple of questions

What weight category do the followign fall into: a) cheeky boy legs, b) tracks and c) screws

a)Cheeky boy legs are just a waste of time... youll need the weight to get anywhere with them
          b)Tracks, EOs disgression....
c)Screws, when I actually think about it, are more like an omni directional design, they continously rotate to travel like a wheel so I would say the screw method of travelling deserves a wheeled weight limit, nothing more.

          Just my 2 + GST

            A couple of questions

1 - I will call it as one

2 - Cheeky Boy legs will come under the 150kg limit; Tracks and screws both come underneath the 100kg limit.

            3 - 50% by number

Not much more so than anarchy, but they ar3e far mroe manouverable.

              b)Tracks, EOs disgression....

And that is why I was asking.

c)Screws, when I actually think about it, are more like an omni directional design, they continously rotate to travel like a wheel so I would say the screw method of travelling deserves a wheeled weight limit, nothing more.

Shush! no one else has noticed! *looks inconpicuous*

                A couple of questions

I dont agree with the passive weapons rule. That means half the robots cant enter including things like rammers and translational spinners that use their drive as a weapon. Although the rules say nothing about having no weapon, just no passive ones... Then you get into the bother of people having an active and passive weapon on their robots. Its a whole lot easier to just let passive weaponry be permitted in my opinion.

                  A couple of questions

Ok, the anti-passive rule will go...

*Sees 16 passive box wedges enter*

                    A couple of questions

I certainly wont be entering a rammer because you seem to be unfond of them and write them out of your tournaments in stupid ways.

Make that 15... well under 15 I should think.
