  • Robot Wars-Second Super Seeds Championship

Note*At the moment, this isnt my no 1 priority, Dinowarrior Destruction is.

Welcome to Robot Wars; The Second Super Seeds Championship

Last time, we saw Bigger Brother beat Behemoth to win the title, but can he do it again?

I have more robots entering this year, and some side events for some added carnage!

Unfortunaly, neither Gravedigger nor Twister (English version)could be here today, so I used Weldor 3 to boost up the numbers.

    Here is the line-up

Typhoon 2 vs M2 vs Ming Dienasty vs Mega Morg

Storm 2 vs Mute vs Razer vs Black and Blue

Tornado vs Dantomkia vs Hypno-disc vs Suicidal Tendencies

X-terminator vs Tough as Nails vs Chaos 2 vs Anarchy

Firestorm 5 vs Bigger Brother vs S3 vs Cerberus

Gravity vs Spawn Again vs Wild Thing vs Aggrobot

Bulldog Breed vs 13 Black vs Stinger vs Diotoir

    Predictions please

    Robot Wars-Second Super Seeds Championship

OK, Chris, here are my predictions for the 1st round. (Im not too sure how many have to be eliminated in Round 1, but am I guessing 2 robots have to be eliminated)

Typhoon 2 vs M2 vs Ming Dienasty vs Mega Morg
M2 & Typhoon 2 would be too strong so out go Mega Morg & Ming Dienasty.

Storm 2 vs Mute vs Razer vs Black and Blue
Black & Blue would fall definately but I stuck between the other 3, Mute would go out Ill guess.

Tornado vs Dantomkia vs Hypno-disc vs Suicidal Tendencies
OOH!! Erm, Tornado & Dantomkia to win.

X-Terminator vs Tough as Nails vs Chaos 2 vs Anarchy
Hmm, tough call this, Ill hazard a guess on Anarchy & Tough as Nails.

Atomic vs Terrorhurtz vs Dominator 2 vs King B Powerworks
Has to be the axes of Dominator 2 & Terrorhurtz in this bout.

Firestorm 5 vs Bigger Brother vs S3 vs Cerberus
*bites lip while thinking* OW!! Ill say Bigger Brother & Firestorm to win.

Gravity vs Spawn Again vs Wild Thing vs Aggrobot
Has to be Gravity but who would join them? I havent got the foggiest.

Bulldog Breed vs 13 Black vs Stinger vs Diotoir
Ill guess 13 Black & Bulldog Breed

Thermidor 2 vs Panic Attack vs 3 Stegs 2 Heaven vs Napalm 2
Thermidor definately but its a dodgy choice for this fight.

The Grim Reaper vs Pussycat vs Wheely Big Cheese vs Plunderbird 5
Wheely Big Cheese & Grim Reaper if they arent beaten

Raging Knightmare vs Behemoth vs Splinter vs Sir Chromalot
Hmm, Ill say Raging Knightmare & Behemoth will win.

St Agro vs S.M.I.D.S.Y vs Gemini vs Weld-dor 3
PHEW!! Even tougher, to win Ill guess SMIDSY & Gemini

    Special Event Predictions
    Clusterbot Clash-Up
Ive done this in RWSC4 and Black & Blue won but it could be the opposite in this bout

    Dutch Destroyers
Either Gravity or Tough as Nails to win

    Commonwealth Carnage
    Ill say Firestorm to win

          Robot Wars-Second Super Seeds Championship

Good news. I was unwell for a few days, but I have recovered, and Im ready to do the first round of the Second Super Seeds Championship.

Are you ready to find a super seeds champion?

          All right then.

          LET THE WARS BEGIN!!!!

          Battle 1

          FROM HAMPSHIRE; M2

This is a newcomer to Robot Wars and the SSC. This barrel shaped competitor has nevertheless made its mark, with its powerful pneumatic flipper, it managed to throw 2 robots OOTA in its first bout. Its flipper is devestating, but its inexperienced.

          FROM SWANSEA; MEGA MORG

This robot made it to the top 12 of last years SSC, it was beaten by Plunderbird 5. This year theyve made a few upgrades: the lifting shovel is bigger and more powerful, and it has a new cutting disc at the back. Its shape allows it to roll back over when flipped, but its slow, and a disgusting shade of yellow. YEUCH!

          FROM SOMERSET; MING DIENASTY

An experienced robot, the first time theyve ever been seeded though. This incorination is a box shape with a big lifting arm. On the end of that arm is a cutting drill, like Sir Killalot. It has experience, but its weapon isnt really that effective.

FROM EDINBURGH IN SCOTLAND; TYPHOON 2

The reigning champion of british wars, heavy, middle AND lightweight. This robot is a cone shape with a rotating outer body, spinning at incredible speeds, with cutting teeth along the outside. The robot has a top secret military information tactic as well. Its impossible to beat when fully spinning, but its unstable at low speeds and it doesnt have a Srimech.

          ROBOTEERS STAND BY.

Booth 1; M2 and Mega Morg
Booth 2; Ming Dienasty and Typhoon 2

House Robots; Dead Metal and Sgt Bash

          3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

The Second Super Seeds Championship is off and under way. I fancy Typhoon 2 I must admit, but at the moment its not in on the action so far. Ming Dienasty comes in to drill at Mega Morg, but is flipped up by M2. No over though, it lands on its wheels. M2 turns its attentions towards the yellow Mega Morg, flipping it high, but again, it lands on its wheels. Ming Dienasty is now moving over to where Typhoon 2 is, that isnt wise, Typhoon 2 is up to full speed and...WHAM! IT SENDS MING DIENASTY SPINNING AWAY! That must be their top secret move I mentioned earlier. And poor Ming Dienasty was caught with a full-on blow of the outer ring. Meanwhile, M2 is throwing Mega Morg all over the place, nearer and nearer to the arena wall. Mega Morg is now rolling, as Typhoon and Ming move towards that arena wall. M2 gives a flip on Mega Morg, then another...OH, AND M2 HAS FLIPPED MEGA MORG STRAIGHT OUT OF THE ARENA! The first OOTA of the new year, done by M2. Typhoon, meanwhile, hits the rear of Ming Dienasty, look at the markings at the back of Ming Dienasty! OUCH! Is Ming Dienasty still mobile? Doesnt look like it. M2 moves away...oooo, brushing past Typhoon 2, even that causes damage. But M2 positions one more time, moves in...and FLIPS! Ming Dienasty is propelled out of the arena!

          CEASE!

          What a battle!

Mega Morg and Ming Dienasty flipped out of the arena.
Isnt it just great to see two new robots showing everyone whos the boss.

TYPHOON 2 AND M2 GO THROUGH TO THE NEXT ROUND!

Just for your knowledge, M2 is a low pressure flipper.

                Robot Wars-Second Super Seeds Championship

Wow. What a fight. Lets see if the second one is any good.

                BATTLE 2

FROM OXFORD AND BRISTOL; BLACK AND BLUE

They competed in the last SSC with Mousetrap, they made it to the final 12, losing to Firestorm. Black and Blue is a clusterbot, meaning it goes in as one machine, but then splits in two. Both machines have powerful spinning drums and are quick and agile. However, the rules state that if one half of a clusterbot is immobilized, then unfortunatly the whole robot is counted as out.

                FROM STOKE-ON-TRENT IN STAFFORDSHIRE; MUTE

A newcomer, it made it to the final of the New Blood championship. This wedge shape is fast, nippy, has tough armour that even Shunt cant damage, and two very deadly flippers, One at the back, one at the front, covered in barbs. The flippers act as Srimech too. However, a weakness is that said Srimech is overpowered, resulting in great gymnastics. HA HA!

                FROM BOURNEMOUTH IN DORSET; RAZER

Twice a world champion, once a UK champion and 3rd place in the last SSC. Razer is a destructive force to be reckoned with. This year, they have spike covered wheels to help with traction. Its main strengths have to be its deadly 9 ton crushing claw. Its main weakness has to be its slow srimech.

FROM IPSWICH IN SUFFOLK; STORM 2

This robot has won a lot in its short life here in Robot Wars. Already it has won the New Blood and World Championship and it came 2nd in the UK wars. This robot looks a bit like Tornado, and is basically a rammer. It does also have a lifting arm to knock a robot over. It has much more power than Tornado, and can get a bot OOTA just by ramming it. Weaknessess? I dont think it has any.

                ROBOTEERS STAND BY!

Booth 1; Black and Blue, Mute
                Booth 2; Razer, Storm 2

                House Robots; Shunt and Matilda

                3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

This should be interesting. Black and Blue immediatly splits, and comes in to attack Mute from the side. With a flipper THAT powerful and a robot THAT light (only 50 kilos each), I wouldnt get so close to that flipper guys. Well, whatever, Razer has a vice like grip on Storm 2, not much damage though, Storm 2 is very tough. Anyway, Mute gets underneath the Black half of Black and Blue, and FIRES FLIPPER! Black is flung away to the other end of the arena. Razer lets go of Storm now and has a little dig at Blue. But lets face it, every little dig from Razer is a big dig. Down comes the claw, crushing through Blues armour. Meanwhile, Storm 2 moves towards Mute. Storm beat Mute in the NB final, Mute want revenge, but Storm uses his arm and flips Mute over. 1...2...3...AND MUTE FIRES THE FLIPPER! IT SPINS A WHOLE 360 DEGREES! AND BACK ON HIS BACK! Again he fires, again he somersults. 4 times or so, and FINALLY he re-rights. I wonder how much gas that took though. Now Strom 2 is going behind Razer (still with a grip on Blue) and pushes, charging Razer and Blue towards the arena wall...KER-RASH! Razer and Blue bounce clean off. Blue cant escape from Razers clutches and...hang on, whats happened to Black? Black is being bothered by Strom 2, thats what, slamming it into Matilda, into the flywheel, more damage. I dont think Black is fully mobile. Then again, neither is Blue, and even more worrying, whats happened to Razer. Its wheels are moving...just...but theres no power in the claw. Mute gets underneath...and FLIPS! Yes, that confirms it, Razers claw has broken down, its srimech isnt gonna work, its out, and Blues gone with it, and with that, Black will go as well. Black, in question, is against the arena wall, Matilda reverses...OH, AND BLACK FLYS OUT OF THE ARENA! Now Refbot is counting out Razer and Blue. Storm 2 slams Mute into the pit release, and the pit lowers...you see, Razer and Blue are already ON the pit. The smoke fires just as Refbot hits 10!

                CEASE

What an Upset. Razer has been blunted, and Black and Blue are also feeling that way.

STORM 2 AND MUTE GO THROUGH!

                  Robot Wars-Second Super Seeds Championship

So, we have 4 robots through already. Typhoon 2, M2, Mute and Storm 2. Who will join them? Lets find out.

                  BATTLE 3

                  FROM SURREY; DANTOMKIA

This robot is fairly new to the RW scene, let alone the SSC, but it has definatly proved itself. This double wedge shaped robot (sort of) has made it to two semi-finals, and also won Most Promising Newcomer in S6 after beating Chaos 2. Its weapon consists of a powerful flipper that has flipped more robots OOTA than any other robot. The captain named the robot after his 3 kids. The robot is deadly, but the driver is nervous (not quite so much I will admit) and the robot has the tendencies to break down without warning.

                  FROM BANBURY IN OXFORDSHIRE; HYPNO-DISC

This is a veteran of 4 series of Robot Wars. It competed in SSC1, but was beaten by Wheely Big Cheese. This robot has one of the most destructive horizontal flywheels in the history of Robot Wars, now faster this year, and with spikes at the back. It can self-right, but when push comes to shove, Hypno easily loses.

                  FROM DERBY; SUICIDAL TENDENCIES

This robot probably has had the most weapon changes of any robot. First a grinder, then an axe and lifter, but now this; A deadly crushing claw that crushes down at 26 tons PSI. This tracked robot competed last year and did damage, but showed its main weakness...reliability problems.

                  FROM SAWTRY IN CAMBRIDGESHIRE; TORNADO

A Robot Wars legend. This box on wheels suffered an early lose last year in the SSC, he wants to do better. His weapons are interchangable, consisting of a drum, a scoop with flail and a lifter. Tornado runs inverted and has no fear of flippers, but mind it IS easy TO flip, so be careful.

                  ROBOTEERS STAND BY

                  Booth 1; Dantomkia and Hypno-disc
Booth 2; Suicidal Tendencies and Tornado
House Robots are Mr Psycho and Matilda

                  3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

Terrific Fight this will be. Hopefully. For this battle, Tornado is using its wedge. He uses said wedge to get right in underneath Suicidal Tendencies. In comes Hypno-disc with a side SWIPE at Suicidal Tendencies. It causes a scar. Nothing more though, and this is worrying for the Rose family who built Hypno-disc. In comes Dantomkia, giving chase towards Hypno-disc, from behind, flips it up! Not over though. Meanwhile, Tornado is using brute force and power against Suicidal Tendencies (notice I am refraining from using ST) and drives Suicidal Tendencies towards Matilda. Can Suicidal Tendencies get away? Thankfully, he can; Matilda was facing him. Hypno-disc is getting a lot of unwanted attention from Dantomkia now, but crashes into the fleeing Suicidal Tendencies. Ever persistant, Tornado now turns to Dantomkia, and RAMS him into the arena side wall. Tornado, Id be careful. Youre vulnerable to flippers, and if youre flipped, that wedge will be useless. But Tornado, not a dumb machine, gets the message and away. Hypno-disc is now tackling Suicidal Tendencies. Weve seen very little of that great claw, but in comes Tornado AGAIN! Ramming Suicidal Tendencies into Matilda and OH MY GOODNESS! MATILDA WAS READY THIS TIME AND SHE CRIPPLES SUICIDAL TENDENCIES! She reverses, causing more damage, Suicidal Tendencies is against the wall, the back is wrecked...its done. Meanwhile, Tornado is now pushing Hypno-disc towards the arena wall, as Refbot looks at the carcuss of Suicidal Tendencies. Finally, he starts counting...OH AND HYPNO-DISC HAS BEEN TOSSED AGAINST THE ARENA WALL BY DANTOMKIA! Tornado pushes it towards the Dantomkia corner as I call it, and waits. Refbot finally counts Suicidal Tendencies out...just as Dantomkia THROWS HYPNO-DISC OUT OF THE ARENA! WHAT A SHOCK! A second later, Suicidal Tendencies flys out also (in bits) curtisy of Matilda.

                  CEASE!

                  What a battle!
Hypno-disc spun out of the competition. Suicidal Tendencies, just what it says on the label.
TORNADO AND DANTOMKIA, THEY GO THROUGH!

Coming up next time, its ANARCHY in the UK tonight. With CHAOS reigning, we need someone to X-TERMINATE the opposition. But which robot will prove themselves to be...as TOUGH AS NAILS.
Then, we have a special surprise for you. Hubble Bubble, youre seeing double, loads of trouble, in our Clusterbot Clash-up. See you in a moment.

                    Robot Wars-Second Super Seeds Championship

What surprises weve had already. How many more can we get?

                    FROM KETTERING; ANARCHY

This robot competed last year with 101, out in round 1. This is a walking robot and allowed to be twice as heavy as some of the other robots. In fact, its the only walker in this SSC. Its weapons consist of a front axe and a rear flipper, both perfect for carnage. Its a strong sturdy robot, but slow and cumbersome.

                    FROM BRAMFORD, IPSWICH; CHAOS 2

Twice a UK champion of Robot Wars, Chaos 2 has never failed to reach at least the heat final of Robot Wars. A robot wars veteran, its weapon is an extremely powerful front flipper that shocked the world when it threw a robot out of the arena in series 3. At 20 miles per hour, its by far the quickest, at 84 kilos, its by far the lightest though, easy to push.

FROM THE NETHERLANDS; TOUGH AS NAILS

One of two Dutch robots taking part in this Championships, Tough as Nails is a true warrior. This robot is a two wheeled monster with an awesome weapon; a set of horizontal crushing jaws that can grapple ANYTHING! Its favourite tactic involves opening the pit, grabbing a robot and then dumping it in. Weaknessess, its wheels are exposed, limited CO2 supply for the pincers and it sometimes suffers from electrical problems.

                    FROM BELMONT IN HEREFORDSHIRE; X-TERMINATOR

A truly magnificent robot. Ranked 4th in the UK at the moment, and its easy to see why. This robot is built like a tank, its tough, strong at pushing and it has a devestating weapon; an extremely powerful vertical flywheel, spinning at frightening speeds. It holds the record for being the first constestant to flip another bot OOTA using a flywheel. The weapon is destructive and deadly, but that said, its slow, and cant right when on its back.

                    ROBOTEERS STAND BY.

                    Booth 1;Anarchy and Chaos 2
Booth 2;Tough as Nails and X-terminator

House Robots are Growler and Shunt.

                    3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

And away we go, with the fourth battle of the Second Super Seeds Championship. There goes Chaos 2, OH, ITS FLIPPED X-TERMINATOR! NOW WHERE HAS X-TERMINATOR LANDED? ON ITS SIDE? Yes, its on its side, its OK. It uses its large spikes to right. Theres Anarchy with an axe blow to X-terminator, but IT is flipped by Chaos 2. Great battle so far...hang on, wheres Tough as Nails? Oh, there it is, its just activated the pit release, down goes the pit. Tough as Nails (or TAN as it is fondly known, I will use that) goes back to attack something, and its NOW GRABBED CHAOS 2! NOW ITS GUIDEING IT TOWARDS THE PIT, ITS IN TROUBLE, IS IT? AND DOWN IT GOES! CHAOS 2 ARE OUT! IN THE PIT BY TOUGH AS NAILS! So were now left with three...OOOOH, WHAT WAS THAT?!?! SOMETHING FLEW AWAY! IT WAS A PART OF ANARCHYS ARMOUR! That was caused by X-terminators great disc! Anarchy tries to flip, but fails. OH, theres a gash in Anarchys flipper. TAN comes back, has a nip of Anarchy. X-terminator comes back, hits...OH, AND NUTS AND BOLTS FLY AWAY! AND GEARS! THAT MEANS THAT ANARCHYS LEGS ARE NOW USELESS! Theyve been ruptured! TAN guides Anarchy away, but theres bits of Anarchy everywhere. Towards the pit. Look at the wreckage. Armour torn away. Gash in the flipper. Mangled legs. One last shove. Down the pit goes Anarchy.

                    CEASE!

What a battle! Anarchy and Chaos 2, in the pit.
TOUGH AS NAILS AND X-TERMINATOR GO THROUGH!

Well, next up we have Firestorm, Bigger Brother, S3 and Cerberus do battle. But first, lets have a special event. This event, is all about working with your twin. You cant be good and evil here. Its our Cluster bot clash up!

                    CLUSERBOT CLASH-UP

FROM ST LEONARDS-ON-SEA IN EAST SUSSEX; GEMINI

A favourite among bot fans, veterans with Mace in the past. A very powerful pneumatic flipper on both machines. Quick. Older than its oppodent, just the heavier, is difficult to control though.

FROM OXFORD AND BRISTOL; BLACK AND BLUE

Weve already seen this robot in the SSC, got knocked out in round 1. Each machine has a devestating spinning drum to cut through weak armour. Its invertable, negating flippers, but easily pushed.

                    ROBOTEERS STAND BY

                    Booth 1;Black and Blue
                    Booth 2;Gemini

House Robots are Cassius Chrome and Sgt Bash

                    3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

Immediatly, Gemini splits. Black and Blue does the same. Dont forget, if just one half of either Gemini or Black and Blue is immobilized then the game is over, the robot is technically out and the win would go to the other robot. One half of Gemini flips up the Black half of Black and Blue, throwing it away with almost ease. Elsewhere, the Blue half is fending off the other Gemini half, cutting against the armour, but no real damage as yet. All together, Black and Blue weighs 99kgs, ALL TOGETHER THOUGH. Gemini weighs 100 kilos together, but when split, thats half of it, as the other Gemini half leaves the Black part to help its Twin deal with the Blue part. All that doo-da makes Gemini point 5 of a kilo heavier than Black and Blue, and at the moment, they are using that to their advantage. The Blue part is being pushed, and PUSHED AGAINST THE GRINDER! If you remember Series 7, the Black part got stuck in a similar position. Black in question is pushing against one half of Gemini, behind it goes the other half...OH, AND BLACK HAS BEEN FLIPPED OUT OF THE ARENA BY ONE HALF OF GEMINI! AND, ACCORDING TO THE RULES, THAT MEANS THEY ARE OUT! Cassius Chrome is now nudging Blue free, as Gemini hits the pit release. Well see them later in this SSC dont forget, as Cassius Chrome gives a driving charge...and down goes Blue.

                    CEASE!

Black and Blue is thumped into submission
GEMINI IS SEEING STARS, THEY ARE A STAR, THEY WIN THE CLUSTERBOT CLASH-UP!

                    Well done Gemini.

And dont forget to check out next time, when 6 of the toughest robots from Holland fight to the finish, in our Dutch Destroyers battle.

                      Robot Wars-Second Super Seeds Championship

Ok then, I havent updated this for a while (stupid exams), so I will do TWO battles today instead of one.

                      Here is the first battle

                      FROM ARLEY IN WORCESTERSHIRE, ATOMIC

This robot did really well in the last Super Seeds Championship, coming fourth before losing to Bigger Brother and Razer. This version has a much bigger, much more powerful flipper witha bigger blade. It is fast, and in series 7, threw a robot out in all its winning battles. However, it is vulnerable to spinners

FROM DEELE IN KENT, DOMINATOR 2

What a robot. This unique bi-wedge shape has one of the most powerful axes in the whole history of Robot Wars. Its armour is titanium from Submarines (apparantly), and is very tough. However, for the axe to work, a robot has to be DIRECTLY in front of the wedges.

                      FROM HAMPSHIRE, KING B POWERWORKS

This robot competed last year, but was beaten early. This robot has more power this year. The name Powerworks comes from the team using the maximum power allowed. The spikes and saw are back again for more action, but the wheels are exposed and it suffers from various problems.

                      FROM OXFORD, TERRORHURTZ

This is one of the best robot on the entire planet. Terrorhurtz came fourth in series 6, but had to drop out of Series 7 before even fighting. Its double headed axe, with more power this time, competes with Dominator for most powerful axe. Still, it IS very unpredictable.

                      ROBOTEERS, STAND BY!

                      Booth 1;Atomic, Dominator 2
                      Booth 2;King B Powerworks, Terrorhurtz

House Robots are Shunt and Mr Psycho

                      3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

And off they go. Atomic goes straight for Dominator 2 and tries to flip it out! But it fails! Meanwhile, Terrorhurtz is going for King B Powerworks. Hacking in at the body. A bit of dents, but nothing more. Terrorhurtz LEAPS AND HOPS! Hah Hah! I love it when that happens! Dominator 2 is hitting Atomic. Atomic turns and FLIPS! Can Dominator self-right? Yes, it can. Meanwhile, Terrorhurtz is actually being pushed by King B. Rammed into Mr Psycho. Psycho swings...and misses! Phew. That was a relief. Meanwhile, Dominator and Terrorhurtz are attacking each other now. They strike. Its clear from their axe designs how different they are. Dominator 2 is more for pirceing, whilst Terrorhurtz is for whacking. But Dominator is busting through Terrorhurtzs armour. Atomic, meanwhile, is going for King B Powerworks. AND FLIPS IT! King B spins, but lands OK. Back comes Atomic...OH, ITS FLIPPED ITSELF! NOW, CAN ATOMIC GET BACK UP? Err...NO! IT CANT! FOR COME REASON, THE FLIPPER HAS STOPPED WORKING! In comes Terrorhurtz...BANG! OUCH! Look at the scars! Terrorhurtz is really powerful. Meanwhile, Dominator 2 is having a go at King B Powerworks. There are dents and scratches in the body of King B. There are small hole-like dent gets in there as well. But meanwhile, Terrorhurtz is pounding the belly of Atomic, who isnt righting. What a shame. Refbot is counting it out. 8...9...10! Thats it! Atomic, the fourth place in the last SSC has gone out. In comes Mr Psycho, and another hammer blow...but he HITS this time. Now he picks up Atomic...just as Terrorhurtz hits King B right in the spikes! Ouch! Dominator hits the pit release. Mr Psycho hovers Atomic over the pit...and drops it in. Atomic are out. Dominator 2 is trying to push King B in too...but King B is too powerful. It going to go to the judges. Terrorhurtz swings and hits the saw. Look at the sparks flying.

                      CEASE!

And the bout is over. The judges will have to decide which two from three will go through. We know, of course, it will not be Atomic.

Well, Atomic goes into meltdown. The judges will have to decide on the other three

Judges Decisions are rare in the Super Seeds Championship. Lets look again. Well, Atomic got a good flip on Dominator 2. Terrorhurtz caused Damage to King B. Had damage caused BY Dominator 2. King B really didnt do a great deal of damage here. I dont think it did enough.

And the judges have made their decition. No controvasy really. Dominator 2 and Terrorhurtz, they go through.

And here is the second battle

FROM BRIGHTON, AND SUPER SEEDS CHAMPION, BIGGER BROTHER

Step right up. Have a go if you think you can. This is, indeed, the Super Seeds Champion, beating 3 Stegs 2 Heaven, Pussycat, Wheely Big Cheese, Plunderbird 5, Atomic 2 and Behemoth to win. Back again is that powerful spiked CO2 flipper, ready for flipping, ready to take a battering. Named A Nightmare in Metal, but vulnerable to axes (remember Kat 3).

                      FROM LONDON, CERBERUS

You may remember last time Cerberus entered, they lost a, what some people may have thought, very contraversial decition over Dominator 2. Well, they are back and they want a grudge match BADLY! The armour is very difficult to damage, but its weapons, that jaw and rammer, arnt that overly effective

FROM LANGHEY MOOR IN COUNTY DURHAM, FIRESTORM 5

A veteran of Robot Wars, and has been seeded in every war its been in (except its first, of course). This robot has come third three times out of 5 now, and this time, it has a much lower wedge to get underneath its oppodents, and a much more powerful flipping arm. With 2 wheel drive, however, its gonna be lucky to win when Push comes to shove, but I warn you, these guys are no pushover.

                      FROM DUNSTHORPE IN LEICESTER, S3

This robot made it to the final 8 of last time, beating their rivals Diotoir, before losing to their OTHER rivals Razer. This time, they have a more powerful vertical spinning disc, that can throw armour so it touches the ceiling, and anti-wedge plates to prevent wedges getting under it. However, it has a wide turning circle, and I worry about the aluminium armour.

                      ROBOTEERS, STAND BY

                      Booth 1;Bigger Brother and Cerberus
                      Booth 2;Firestorm 5 and S3

House Robots are Sgt Bash and Sir Killalot

                      3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

And the robots move away. Cerberus takes a little nibble onto Bigger Brother, but the SSChampion makes no attempt to flip it. S3 tries to turn to get that disc in, but Firestorm evades...and wedges...straight towards Bigger Brother. THEY FLIP! S3 lands on its side! That is not good. They try...but its no use. Meanwhile, Firestorm rams Cerberus into the side wall. Bigger Brother pushes S3, and flips!...but misses throwing it out. Firestorm gets underneath to try the same thing...flips! S3 titters...totters...AND FALLS OVER...AND OUT! S3 has gone. All over in the blink of an eyeAGOH, AND CERBERUS HAS BEEN FLIPPED OUT BY BIGGER BROTHER! Cerberus has been flipped out AGAIN! Firestorm and Bigger Brother are the winners. What an impressive display from the champion.

                      CEASE!

Well, S3 and Cerberus are out of the arena.
Firestorm 5 and Bigger Brother go through.

                      Coming up next time.

Two more exciting first round melees for you.
                      Gravity will flip them high
Will Spawn Again or Wild Thing die?
                      Aggrobot will try to grab
Bulldog Breed will charge and nab.
Stinger swings with all its might
                      Diotoir gives all a fright,
13 Black will twist and tumble.
Who will win the next two rumbles?

OK, so the poetrys bad, but the battles are good.

See ya later in Dinowarrior Destruction

                          Robot Wars-Second Super Seeds Championship

Hello guys. Ive found a computer that I can work from, but I cant access the internet all day, and I really need to study the stats for AotA and WD hard to determine a result. So, for now, here is the Super Seeds Championship.

                          FROM DORKING; AGGROBOT

A true veteran, this robot once beat the great Razer in series 3, but unfortunatly has never done well enough to escape the heats. This version has a set of jaws of life, if you like, once used to cut people out of wrecks, now used TO wreck, and it also has a flipper. They claim it has no weaknessess, I say it is vulnerable to flippers.

                          FROM HOLLAND; GRAVITY

Until Gravity arrvived, everyone thought Dutch robots were rubbish. Not now! Gravity is a wedge shape, extremely fast, but it has one of the most powerful flippers EVER in Robot Wars. It managed to flip Shunt, Dead Metal, Growler AND Cassius Chrome during its time and is a force to be reckoned with. Weaknessess include weak armour and vulnerable tyres

FROM EAST TILBURY IN ESSEX; SPAWN AGAIN

Another brute force flipper. This veteran has only once failed to reach the semi-finals. Like Gravity, its weapon is a mighty flipper that could flip ANYTHING out. Its also fast, at 25mph, but a note of caution, it has the tendencies to break down without warning!

FROM ASH IN HAMPSHIRE; WILD THING 2

Redeisgned from the last SSC, Wild Thing 2 is now an arrow-head box (In a way), Invertable and it boosts a vertical spinning disc rather than horizontal. Its main weapon though is its holding abbility, it is able to hold on where others just give up, it proved this against 259. Exposed tyres could leave this Wild Thing tame though.

                          ROBOTEERS STAND BY

                          Booth 1;Aggrobot and Gravity
Booth 2;Spawn Again and Wild Thing 2

House Robots are Cassius Chrome and Sgt Bash

                          3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

The favourites here MUST be Spawn Again and Gravity, surely? Well, anyway, Wild Thing, charging in on the attack, turning and twisting. Aggrobot moves in, Gravity fires flipper, but misses. Aggrobot tries to get those jaws into Gravitys flipper, it doesnt work. Gravity backs away, Wild Thing 2 has a nibble, but forward comes Gravity. Under Aggrobot. AND FLIPS! OH, AGGROBOT HAS BEEN FLIPPED OUT! Well, it looked dangerous, but it wasnt WORKING FOR THEM, AND WILD THING 2 HAS JUST BEEN FLIPPED OUT BY SPAWN AGAIN! They snuck in whilst I was talking! How rude! Well, that may be one of the quickest bouts ever!

                          CEASE!

Wild Thing 2 and Aggrobot are flipped out of the arena
GRAVITY AND SPAWN AGAIN GO THROUGH

                          Next battle please

FROM CANNOCK IN STAFFORDSHIRE; BULLDOG BREED

An experienced robot, but first time seed. Bulldog Breed is about sheer power. It is the reigning Tag Terror Champion, it has a sturdy construction and a powerful flipper, that can flip a robot out without been near the wall, like Pussycat. However, it has a 1cm ground clearance, and no armour, as it was torn off by X Terminator in its last fight.

FROM DUBLIN IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND; DIOTOIR

We saw Diotoir last year, was beaten early. This is a veteran of 5 wars now, and they have made improvements they say. This time, they have a badder flipper with more bite, and a giant bar on top which I assume aids as a rollover. Its low to the ground, difficult to flip, but it is flammable with all its fur, the flipper can get stuck and sometimes (usually most of) the srimech doesnt work.

                          FROM BRANSTON, LINCON; STINGER

This is a very simple robot. It is basically a swinging spike/axe/mace on two giant wheels. All of the electronics and batteries etc are mounted in siad wheels. It is very difficult to get a hold on it, but I must say the wheels are exposed to any form of attack from blades.

                          FROM LEICESTERSHIRE; THIRTEEN BLACK

Another veteran of the war field, 13 Black is dangerous with a capital D. This 2 wheeled box, acting like a see-saw, as not one, but TWO powerful spinning discs, one looking like a roulette wheel. It has a srimech, but can also run inverted, which is hilarious! It has great weapons, but it has exposed wheels and the srimech doesnt work. Who is 13 Black unlucky for?

                          ROBOTEERS STAND BY

                          Booth 1;Bulldog Breed and Diotoir
                          Booth 2;Stinger and 13 Black

Now, before we start, I heard rumours that Bulldog Breed and Diotoir are going to team up to get rid of 13 Black because of Bulldogs armour problem. Will that pay off?

House Robots are Mr Psycho and Cassius Chrome.

                          3...2...1...ACTIVATE!!!

Well, now to see if the armour/13 Black thing is true. Bulldog Breed is straight off the mark, OH, HE FLIPS 13 BLACK OVER! 13 Blacks srimech doesnt work, so, were back to its other move...crab-walking! I love it when 13 Black does that. Stinger charges in to try and break one of 13 Blacks discs, but Bulldog Pushes it away (sort of). Now Bulldog is going for Stinger, after all, Stinger DID beat Bulldog in series 4. Diotoir lifts up 13 Black meanwhile, but with no real luck. So he tries pushing. That works. Bulldog tries charging into Stinger, moves it towards 13 Black. Diotoir flips 13 Black, at the SAME TIME BULLDOG BREED FLIPS STINGER! The two KER-RASH! WOW! 13 Black is back upright, but in serious trouble. Meanwhile, Diotoir hits the pit release, as Bulldog closes its flipper on Stingers tail. Now he MUST have the greater traction, he must, he DOES! Stinger is in the pit. Now, Diotoir is after 13 Black. Poor 13 Black tries, but cant get away from the furry ladybug. In comes Bulldog Breed, and charges behind Diotoir. The two push, interesting. Bulldog Breed pushing Diotoir pushing 13 Black towards the wall, both FIRE FLIPPER, AND...OH, 13 BLACK HAS GONE! I WAS RIGHT, IT WAS A GANGING UP THING! I think this is the first time that two robots have helped each other flip anothe robot out of the arena. Diotoir stacked it, and Bulldog Breed did the rest.

                          CEASE!

13 Black, unlucky for some. Unlucky for Stinger, theyre in the pit
BULLDOG BREED AND DIOTOIR THEY GO THROUGH!

                            Robot Wars-Second Super Seeds Championship

Welcome back to Robot Wars, the Second Seeds Championship.

Now, lets take time out from the carnage and chaos for the next special event.
Now, in the world of robotics, England usually triumphs. Weve had over 3 English robots win the championship, all 3 times England win the world championships, and even the SSChampion is English.
But the rest of the world has good robots too, dont they? Well, now we have 6 battles for 6 different countries or regions to have a go where England cut them off.

For the first of the matches, we have 6 of the best dutch robots around

                            So, let the challenge begin!

                            DUTCH DESTROYERS

                            FROM HOLLAND; TWISTER

This deadly robot is unique. Its weapon is a triangle spinning blade, mounted on a thin body. It can run inverted, but lacks experience

                            FROM HOLLAND; GRAVITY

Weve already seen what Gravity can do. The powerful wedge, with the powerful flipper is ready for anything. Dont forget the weakish armour though

                            FROM HOLLAND; SCRAPTOSAUR

This robot made it to the semi finals of the Dutch championships. This box shape is long, fast, and is equipped with a lifting scoop device for flipping robots, and that scoop is of great power. It has a limited CO2 supply though

                            FROM HOLLAND; TOUGH AS NAILS

Are they really what their name suggests? Well, from evidence so far, yes. The largest set of horizontal crushers ever I think, but exposed wheels and sometimes technical difficulties let it down.

                            FROM HOLLAND; HAMMERHEAD 2

They say it looks like a Hammerhead Shark. I say it looks like a box on wheels. However, said box on wheels does have bite€¦in the form of a powerful flipper at the rear. A little inexperienced for my liking though

FROM HOLLAND, AND DUTCH CHAMPION; PULVERISER

This is indeed the dutch champion. Its easy to see why. It is an axlebot shape with a powerful spinning drum that cuts anything. The team are a fan of Elvis from the looks of things. It does well in Dutch wars, but it always has problems in both its times in British wars.

                            ROBOTEERS, STAND BY

Booth 1;Twister, Hammerhead 2 and Pulveriser
Booth 2;Gravity, Scraptosaur and Tough as Nails

House Robots are Mr Psycho and Dead Metal

                            3€¦2€¦1€¦ACTIVATE!

And our 6 dutch destroyers are off and under way. Who will be the first faller? Well, Scraptosaur flips Pulveriser easily, dodging that spinning drum. Twister looks for a robot to fight, and takes on Gravity, that isnt wise. Hammerhead 2 flips TAN, but TAN tries to get a grip. He certainly has the reach. Pulveriser meanwhile, is being pushed towards Dead Metal, not good. The saw cuts through the armour easily. Twister moves away, Gravity slips in from the side, away from the blade€¦AND ITS FLIPPED TWISTER OUT! TWISTER HAS GONE, as Tan hits the pit release. One false move, and Twister has gone, AND SO HAS HAMMERHEAD 2! In the pit by Tough as Nails. Pulveriser is STILL in trouble, as Gravity now attacks TAN, but TAN just flies overhead. You really need to get rid of Gravity ASAP, unless you want flying lessons. But TAN has beaten Gravity before, and he really wants to do it again. He tries to grab, but Gravity evades capture. Meanwhile, Pulveriser is at the mercy of Dead Metal and looks to me to be immobilized. Is Pulveriser moving? Refbot, have a check. Yes, Refbot is counting out Pulveriser! It may be the dutch champion, but its not going anywhere in the British wars. In comes Mr Psycho, as TAN, Gravity and Scraptosaur fight for the remaining bout. Gravity flips Scraptosaur, but TAN grabs Gravity. Mr Psycho picks up Pulveriser and drops him outside the arena. Gravity tries to escape TANs clutches, but can only flip Scraptosaur on its side, where it cant self-right. As Refbot waits, TAN finally takes a proper hold of Gravity and dumps it in the pit. Refbot finally counts out Scraptosaur and the match is over.

                            CEASE!

It was a hectic battle. I hope you English robots are watching out. But, in the end, Twister is blown away, Hammerhead 2 is hammered, Pulveriser is pulverised, Gravity feels the force, and Scraptosaur becomes extinct.

                              Well done Tough as Nails

(we see a shot of the next line-up)

And up next is a good fight between Napalm 2, Panic Attack, Thermidor 2 and 3 Stegs 2 Heaven, this will be an interesting fight
                              (Suddenly, 3S2Hs name turns red)
OH! 3 Stegs 2 Heaven has been forced to withdraw! What an upset!

I caught up with the team from Southampton. Apparantly, their drive chain just broke off, and they dont have any spare. Its a shame, but it means that the other three will have to fight alone.
                              Anyways, on with the battle...

FROM DARTFORD IN KENT, NAPALM 2

They competed last year, but was knocked out early. Its a bulky beast of a machine, lots of armour to protect it, and front blade plus a rotary arm with armour piercing mandibles at the back. However, it has no srimech and it is the slowest AND lightest in this first round clash.

FROM CARDIFF IN WALES, PANIC ATTACK

This robot also entered last year, but also got knocked out in the first round. This 6 wheeled robot (last I checked) keeps its nasty set of lifting spikes to lift and flip oppodents, they keep their skirts along the side, but they have a new one at the back to prevent robots attacking that way. It is a very experienced robot. However, it has a new driver at the controls, and they had to remove the srimech to make it more powerful.

FROM COSTISY IN NORWICH NORFOLK, THERMIDOR 2

Out of these three robots, they got the furthest, but was beaten by Chaos 2. This robot now has a more powerful flipper this time round, it keeps its claws, and has a little wheel at the back to prevent flipping itself. It looks unstoppable, and it flipped Behemoth and Stinger out of the ring in the same match in a battle a long time ago. However, the armour is weak, the wheels look exposed, and they are limited to 15 or so flips.

Booth; Napalm 2, Panic Attack and Thermidor

House Robots are Sir Killalot and Sgt Bash

                              3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

So, mechanical difficulties knocked out Three Stegs To Heaven, what can the other three do. Well, Thermidor is heading straight for Napalm...OH, AND HE FLIPS IT! NAPALM 2 IS ON ITS BACK IMMEDIATLY! This could be a very quick bout. Panic Attack pushes Napalm a bit, but he is also picking up a lot of unwanted attention from Thermidor right now. Panic Attack has his rear skirt knocked, but its OK, its hindged, designed to be like that. Thermidor gets underneath and lifts Panic Attack. Napalm 2 is counted out. I really think 3 Stegs to Heaven not being there caused its downfall. 8...9...10 and its out! Panic Attack is now lifting Thermidor as Sir Killalot grabs Napalm 2, causing terrible scars. Napalm is dragged onto the floor flipper. We wait...AND IT FLIES! Marks out of ten for flying, I think 7. Marks out of ten for fighting. Minus 4. The pit is activated...AND PANIC ATTACK PUSHES THERMIDOR IN, BUT it doesnt matter, as Napalm 2 was counted out.

                              CEASE!

                              Napalm burns and dies
PANIC ATTACK AND THERMIDOR GO THROUGH!

(The reason I did this was to show how mean RW was. They could (and should) have had Terrorhurtz drop out in the same way Typhoon did in WC3 (red letters, JP saying they had dropped out etc, NOT show the closed gate and announce them.)
