But yeah, smart move on making Tira Kody's assistant.

Anyways, my new and revised tactics:

Get both Tira and Kody drunk so they will commit suicide down the pit. While they drunkenly drive around, use my drum to carve up Cassandra's aluminum inserts. Then pit one or both of them if they haven't pitted each other. If they attack me, I'll flip whichever one's closer. Don't let them double-team me.

i.a.n the 1st to move here and exterme gyrations is up to full speed and comes in Bang, it looks like the match will be
restarted as they both went oota :shock: anyways there back in the arena and they carry on and i.a.n flips eg into the
air at such force, eg gets up to speed again and whacks i.a.n away but it comes back only to be smashed away but
eg looks unstable and i.a.n comes in with a nudge WHOA eg is shooting around the arena spinning like crazy and i.a.n
now flips it on its back and shunt comes in with the axe again and again and again i.a.n now flips eg against the wall but
mr psycho picks it up and drops it on the flame pit as i.a.n flips it back again and again what a show we are getting here
today and eg is now stacked against the wall again as shunt hammers down along with mr psycho and deas metals saw
BZZZZZT BANG BZZZZZZT BANG BZZZT BANG!!!!! huge damage as in comes in and flips it oota but the house robots
turn their attention to i.a.n who is trying to get away but turns round and FLIPS SHUNT ON HIS HEAD and now gets
under growler and FLIPS HIM OVER AS WELL, what a fight folks as dead metal hits the pit release but i.a.n SHOVES HIM
IN but mr psycho picks it up and drops it out of the arena

szf comes racing out of the traps and slams oid against the wall but oid tries to hit the sides but szf is to fast for him
and slams hit against the wall and into the house robots and now shunt comes in and hammers down on oid as szf
charges at the pit release and now charges towards oid and bashes it against the wall but oid gets away and szf is
trapped in the cpz and shunt slams his axe down again and again and again but szf manages to get but almost drove in
the pit but got away just in time and now charges at oid again and powerslams it against another wall as sparks fly from
the angle grinders but oid gets away again and hits the side of szf and theres a massive cut in the side but szf gets
away and gets under oid and slams him at the wall and out of the arena he goes now szf takes on shunt and slams him
down the pit CEASE

lian walsh: and finally (for the moment) the 3rd battle

pod 1: megaroll (just been put back together since its thrashing from raven the 4th :shock: )/mark
pod 2: the alexandra sister/kody and tira

megaroll gets up to speed charges for cassandra but sophitia interceps and flips megaroll 2 over and again and again as
cassandra heads for the pit release as megaroll is flipped into the ppz where growler lurks and gets hold of megaroll and
slams against the wall but megaroll gets away but not from sophitia who launches megaroll into the air but megaroll
recovers and goes after cassandra and hits away with the drums but is launched away by sophitia and launched into the
ppz again but into sir killalot who picks up megaroll and spins it round and round i think im getting dizzy (wait a tick hes
already been on ) as killalot spins round again and lets go as megaroll lands next to the flame pit but is flipped
against the arena wall and is double ootaed by the sisters

So? Most tourney writers don't even notice that it's impossible for 1 person to drive both parts at a time.

may I ask why?:P I have 2 hands, 5 fingers each, its very well possible to operate a (relatively small) remote control with 1 hand, laying the thing in the palm of my hand, using my dumb to move the joystick and another finger to move a weapon control

Heck, I can use my 2 joystick controller in such way that 1 joystick moves 1 bot around and the other one moves the other robot, and I can still have buttons for optional weapons, it would require superb control of my hands, on par with the best drummers in the world, but its not impossible, it would also require superb hand-eye coordination, but thats not impossible too, and as its always assumed that vapourboteers are superb drivers anyhow, since driving skills are never considered in this game, I dont see much of a problem

Lian: Raven the 4th destroyed my robot, and yet Extreme Gyration, which puts out twice the KJ of Raven, didn't damage I.A.N at all? Seems unusual, but yeah. The robot has a habit of going out of control when flipped...

Jason Bardis (of Dr. Inferno fame in Battlebots) actually did that I believe, he had an American ant cluster called Lame-O and Same-O that were set up to be driven on opposite sticks of a 2 stick transmitter

pod 2: crooked/jack

gabriel comes rushing in on crooked and crooked turns away but gabriel flips it from behind and onto its back but
self rights and turns round and flips back and now crooked gets underneath and tries to flip it out WHAT A MOVE!!!!!
gabriel was about to go oota but fired the flipper just in time to lauch itself back in, now it races toward crooked and
flips it across the arena to the ppz where dead metal waits BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT a massive cut in the side of crooked
as it gets away but not from gabriel who flips it over but it self rights quickly but is flipped again into the pit release
and gabriel is on the pit but he gets away and the refbot fell in now gabriel flips crooked into a
ppz with shunt as the pit comes back up so that refbot can continue and shunt axes crooked and the c02 has gone in
crooked as the refbot comes over 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 oh dear co2 problems have let crooked down a 2nd time as shunt
axes down again but gabriel comes in and flips it against the wall and out CEASE

next up are skull and robot wars flops tomohawk

pod 1:tomohawk

skull gets that drum up to speed as tomohawk comes in but skull moves out of the way now it starts to chew lumps out
of the side tomohawk who turns to get away but the other side is being chewed up to bits and now skull uses its wedge
to push tomohawk into the ppz where matilda is lurking with the flywheel and tears off the top panel completely as skull
now pushes it towards growler who slams tomohawk into the wall now cassius chrome comes in and actually does some
damage as it punched off the axe now tomohawk comes back at skull but is pushed into the pit release whats tomohawk
gonna do now, NOTHING as they are shoved down the pit CEASE

the final battle of round 1 exotherm vs no consequences

pod 1: no consequences/joey
pod 2: exotherm/lewis

3....2...1... ACTIVATE

nc starts spinning up to max rpm as exotherm comes in with is vertical blade like nightmare and hits nc, nc shoots
across the arena as exotherm lands on its back but the blade pops him back over as it goes after nc again but nc hits it
back and it tears off a front wedge protecting one of the wheels and it hits off the other one now exotherm hit nc and
tears of the lifting arm but nc tears a wheel off and the other one as exotherm lands next to the pit release and is
shoved in CEASE that was quick so lets see who made it to the next round

Hmm... 1mm ground clearance at the sides, 3mm at the rear, and no skirts? Excellent...

Anyways, with the low ground clearance, he'll have trouble turning. And with 36v Mags, he risks burning them out due to prolonged use. Anyways, Turn to his side, flip him, and shove him towards the wall. If he self-rights before I can flip him out, flip him again, and continue pushing him up to the wall. Once he's pushed up to the wall, get under him and OOTA him. My Armox can survive anything the house robots can do. After disposing of I.A.N, attack and either flip, OOTA, or pit all house robots, including the Refbot.

accidently knocks i.a.n back onto his wheels, now i.a.n gets under bandwagon and flips it again and again and again well
bandwagon is very resistant to this as it self rights and lauches i.a.n across the arena again and into shunt who axes it
but i.a.n self rights over the to if shunt and escapes but not from bandwagon, who flips it into growler who grabs him
and slams i.a.n against the wall with power, and i.a.n gets away but runs straight into bandwagon who hit the pit
release lauches i.a.n sky high and lands next to the pit, what power by bandwagon who now flips it on its back but i.a.n
again self rights with great fashion and pushes bandwagon and flips it onto its back but self rights quickly and pushes
i.a.n into mr psycho who pounds away with its hammer now bandwagon comes in and flips i.a.n near the wall, if it self
rights itll flip it self out but bandwagon takes advantage and flips it oota

If NC starts spinning, it's not going to do much. If it tries lifting, it's not going to do much. :P Put the lifter-thingy on the axe head, and lift him over when he's not spinning. Then clamp him and pit him: it's easier to do this when he's upside-down, and his lifter will take him longer to self-right

Shadow Zone Forever vs Skull

Right. Had trouble getting to its stats due to a refresh page issue, but it's fixed. Hmm...Nasty weapon, but its drivetrain is weak(ish). I think I can easily get to its sides and push it down the pit. Self-right when needed.

The Alexandra Sisters: Retribution vs Gabriel V

First off, AVOID THAT NOSE CONE. Sophitia stalls Gabriel, Cassandra heads for the pit release. Just like before. Then they try and get him down the pit. No OOTAs here, just pit him. Avoid arena walls. I doubt Gabriel can actually make an OOTA but I can't risk it. :P
