Das Uberhypo Sign-ups

Okay, after VRW Series 3 ends, I'm planning to start a new, rather unusual tournament called Das Uberhypo. It is what its name says: The Ultimate Hypo.

Rules: I need 12 people to enter 8 robots apiece.

Notes:
You cannot enter realies.
Regular weight limit for Wheeled is 100kg.
Regular weight limit for Tracked is 110kg.
Regular weight limit for Shufflers is 150kg.
Regular weight limit for Walkers in 200kg.
Passive Robots are allowed.
Clusterbots can have up to 999 parts. (Eg: Frank's Hundreds of Thousands)
Flying robots aren't allowed, but hovercraft robots are.
You can reserve spaces, but after a week of inactivity(failure to give me your stats), I will eject you.

Let the sign-ups begin!

...remind me why we should enter a tournament which we are 100% sure is going to be hypoed?

...yeah...I enter tournaments to have my robots in some good battles, if the tournament is going to be a hypo then I won't enter it.

I'm sorry... It's just the fact that I want to prove that, for at least 1 season, a purely hypothetical tourney can exist.

You know what, Mark...I'll do it. Just because I'm insanely bored at the moment and can't pass off time properly. And besides, it may be a hypo, but since it's intended to be one, I guess it's like ARC then. (w00t for SZF being a semi-finalist there, yay. Oh, and Joey, if you read this message, see my PM)

To be fair this COULD work, nobody ever said all tournaments had to have the same format and I have a feeling there may be some idea behind this. Yet so far I cant say I see the advantage of an all-hypo tournament, could you convince me of that Mark?

Well, to start with, more can be made, and in these times, since most tourneys are either in their middle or ending phase, I'd thought I'd start one that could be prolonged, but could also be a bit fun as well. Plus, it's easier to do a massive hypo rather then the minor tourneys that are going on now. I don't know, maybe I was just being stupid, but I thought it was a good idea. Please at least enter it and see how it works. You can't claim an idea is good or bad unless you see it in action.

I understand this looks a bit ridiculous, but could we try it just once? If the first Season of Das Uberhypo doesn't work, then I won't make another, but if it does work, I think I'll make more. So please enter, if not because this is a half-decent tourney, then because I need to see if it'll work.

Also, a difference will be that tactics will be needed.

Now excuse me. (Goes to work on the arena and house robots)
