    Sam: Back to you, Mark.

    Well, this match will determine who'll be in the playoff, and who will be... IN THE GRAND FINAL!!!

    Ahem... Yeah... Great!!!... I have just received word, that 3 more real house robots have come to join us tonight. Ladies and Gentleman, give it up for Battleaxe, Gripper, and Major Damage!!! *Crowd cheers*

    Our house robots for this semi-final match will be Battleaxe, with the claws and hammer, and representing everyone in the British military, we have Sgt. Bash!!!

    3..2..1..Activate!!!

    And there goes Apocalypse, very quickly off the start, trying to get in underneath Whiplash but failing to do so. The 0 ground clearance is canceled out, and it depends who gets under who!!! And Whiplash manages to get under Apocalypse!!! And down comes the axe, and Whiplash shoving Apocalypse into Battleaxe's CPZ. Battleaxe grabs Apocalypse with its pincers, and comes down with the hammer. That hammer's not causing too much damage to Apocalypse. There, Apocalypse away. Now trying to go on the attack, and ending up in the CPZ once again, getting under Battleaxe, and flipping him over! The house robots do not like one of their kind being flipped, and here comes the Guardian, and the counter screen has totally turned yellow! That's a yellow card for you, Liam! Apocalypse luckily can't go after the Guardian, since it's hovering 2 metres off the ground. And in comes Whiplash again, And I think that Apocalypse's skirts have suffered damage once again to the torsion springs, which means that Whiplash can get under, which he does. Whiplash pushes Apocalypse into the Pit bumper, and as the siren wails, Apocalypse II is dropped into the pit.

    CEASE!!!

    It is Apocalypse no more...
    WHIPLASH GOES ON TO THE GRAND FINAL!!!

    So let's review: I need tactics. And here are the line-ups:

    GRAND FINAL: Storm II vs Whiplash
    3rd Place Play-Off: Ramminator Evilution vs Apocalypse II

      I should be both faster and pushier. Ram his arse straight off the bat, get under, and take him to unpleasant places, namely house robots or the pit. Keep attacking until the end of the match or until he's dead for sure.

        Whiplash VS Storm 2

        You saw how much damage Terrorhurtz did to other robots in the 6th wars. My axe is far more powerful than that. So, I will be focused on the driving, and stay near the middle of the arena, where I can keep my options open. Storm 2 may be powerful, but 23mph top speed = Hard to Control. So, I will get underneath from the sides or back, and axe it to hell. I WILL AVOID THE FRONT LIKE HELL! Since I am very difficult to get underneath, I am very confident to win this.

          Sam, not trying to be rude, but did you notice that you also have a robot in the 3rd Place play-Off? I need your tactics for that match as well. Then, once I get Liam's tactics, we'll be ready to go.

            In other words, I will push Apocalypse all around the arena.

            Also, additional tactics for the Whiplash and Storm 2 Battle:

            If I get lucky, I might smash a wheel or even better, a drive chain. I will try and recreate Killotine VS Storm 2 from the Eye of the Robot - Series 1 Grand Final.

              Okay, seeing as I already had Liam's tactics(Get him on the barbs, flip him OOTA) under my nose, it's time to start the 3rd-place play-off!!!

              Our house robots will be the 1-tonne menace himself, Major Damage, and the equally lethal, but slightly lighter, Mr. Psycho.

              3..2..1..Activate!!!

              And in comes Ramminator, coming in and landing upon the top of Apocalypse. Apocalypse now driving towards the arena wall, and will this match end very quickly? Apocalypse flipping Ramminator on top of the arena wall... and no. Ramminator falls back in, although it does appear that it's pinned on the wall, just like Herbinator and 13 Black were in the first match of Robot Wars series 7 heat D. The Guardian landing and taking a look, and beginning the count...

              1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10!!!

              Ramminator is immobilized, and in comes Major Damage, plucking Ramminator up with the claw, and now moving over to the pit release button. Major Damage presses the pit release button, and now, before the fight even truly began, Ramminator i in the pit of oblivion...

              CEASE...

              Well, Ramminator so quickly rammed, flipped, and pinned on the arena wall. Though the fight is over, RAMMINATOR EVILUTION TAKES 4TH PLACE, AND APOCALYPSE II TAKES 3RD PLACE!!!

              Next up, the grand final...

              Storm II vs Whiplash

                Let's just skip the finer details and get on with it. Our house robots are Gripper and Matilda.

                3..2..1..Activate!!!

                And in comes Storm, shoving Whiplash over towards the angle grinders, and that's a very good first attack by Kody. Whiplash now pounding away at Storm II's tough shell. Storm taking it, and shoving Whiplash into the pit release bumper. Storm, now spinning madly, and Whiplash runs straight into Storm. But was that a tactic to lure in Samuel? Apparently so, as Storm shoves Whiplash into the arena wall. But it seems we have a problem with the arena! The panel that falls into the ground to allow robots to enter the arena is stuck in the down position! Can Kody see the opportunity to push Whiplash OOTA? Apparently so, as Storm shoves Whiplash OOTA through the stuck open door! Whiplash still moving, and teetering on the edge between the path into the arena and the camera tracks... And falls onto the camera tracks, making it legally OOTA.

                CEASE!!!

                Whiplash is killed by its own elasticity..

                STORM II WINS VRW SERIES 3!!!

                Congrats to Kody, Jack, Liam, and Samuel. And don't forget to enter the next VRW Series.

                  how the heck did the arena wall get stuck in the down position? No offense, but I think that battle was just a little out of order, and I think I need a rematch.

                    Okay.

                    Sam: So what do you feel about your loss to Storm?

                    Samuel: I feel that it was uncalled for and there should be a rematch.

                    Sam: Well, apparently our judges agree! However not like you think...

                    Samuel: Huh?

                    Well, we had a bit of trouble, controversy, etc. So, due to the fact that there was an arena malfunction, we're going to a judges' decision, based on the fight up until the time that Whiplash was shoved out of the arena. While they're making up their minds, lets review, shall we?

                    Okay, starting off, Storm II revealing that massive aggression streak, And possibly the more stylish. However, even though Whiplash was rammed most of the fight, it had more control with driving, and the part that really wins in for me is there, where Whiplash hits Storm with the axe. But here are the results:

                    Style: Storm II: 7/10 Whiplash: 5/10
                    Control: Storm II: 4/10 Whiplash 6/10
                    Aggression: Storm II: 9/10 = 18/20 Whiplash: 5/10 = 10/20
                    Damage: Storm II: 1/10 = 3/30 Whiplash: 5/10 = 15/30
                    Total: Storm II: 32 Whiplash: 36

                    And in a judges' decision, Storm fizzles out!!!
                    WHIPLASH WINS VRW SERIES 3!!!
