Little Flipper 3 beat Tidal Wave on a Judges Decision
Blizzard pushed Doom down the pit
BIACS-IS won on a Judges Decision against 2nd Revenge of Black Death
And The Red Knight pulverised Ziggy and went into the next round!
First, we have another featherweight battle between No 1 Seed Featherweight Champion Deadly Lampshade and newcomer, Isolation
From England, Isolation!
Shaped like Killerhurtz from Robot Wars, this robot entered by Joey has a tail on the back with a hammer end, allowing it to spin around and whack its opponents. Its invertible, but with only 2XD, it wont win any pushing battles.
From Wales, Deadly Lampshade!
In Series One, it was outdone by Little Hitter in the final, but in EVO, it snatched away the title to be the champion. Daniel hasnt changed it much, but it still has no self-righting mechanism!

3-2-1: Activate!
Deadly Lampshade spins up to full speed and waits for Isolation to approach it. Isolation charges straight ahead...OH! Its spun away by Deadly Lampshade, but regains its bearings and starts to spin around on the spot. The rear hammer can be used to whack robots, but Deadly Lampshade isnt fazed and approaches again. OHH! Isolation spun to one side again and I think the hammer is hanging off! Daniel wants to hold onto that title and SMACKS Isolation again! Isolation spun against the angle grinder, the hammer has gone! Look, its behind the angle grinder, so Isolation now weaponless! Joey wont give in and charges Daniel again. OHH! This time, a mighty gash in the front plow-style design of Isolation! Joey has taken a beating, but Isolation is still moving! It presses the pit release button, and OH! Almost into the pit, I think its trying to lure Deadly Lampshade to the edge! Daniel isnt buying it, and he waits in the centre of the arena. If it goes to the judges, I think Deadly Lampshade will win. Deadly Lampshade moves in...OHH! HA-HA! It spun Isolation into the pit! Joeys tactics didnt work, and he is out of the featherweight competition!

Now, for the middleweight battle. Hazard, the No 1 Seed after winning Series One, takes in a newcomer, Complete Control!
From California in the USA, Hazard!
Entered by Samuel, Hazard didnt do too well in EVO, but in Series One, it claimed the title of Middleweight Champion. The spinning tool bar on top can rip robots to pieces. But if its flipped, it has no srimech.
From Canada, Complete Control!
Paul Cuomo and Derek Young entered Complete Control. A box with lifting forks and a hammer, Complete Control could well control this fight. But last time it took on Hazard, the Battlebots arena must have taken ages to clean up!

3-2-1: Activate!
Hazards tool bar is very dangerous, so Complete Control will want to be careful and NOT MAKE history repeat itself! But Hazard got on the side there, and sparks fly! Complete Control gets away, but Samuel and Tony Buchinani give chase! Paul hits the pit release button...OUCH! Hazard came in and BUCKLED one of the front forks! Complete Control tries to get away, but Hazard gives chase. It turns around to face Hazard and OHH! Sparks fly, and one of the forks is hanging limp now! Weve seen the damage Hazard can do before...AND now a gash down the side of Complete Control! Hazard is on top, but Complete Control charges and GETS under...OHHH! In its attempt to get under, it lifted a skirt into the tool bar and it SNAGGED its own weapon, Hazard! What a comeback by Complete Control! But before that, the fork was ripped off! It whacks Hazard on the top with the hammer, but Hazard pushes it, pushes it onto the flame pit! Complete Control gets under again and LIFTS Hazard up! Oh dear, Samuel, after being on top, looks very concerned now! Its pinned Hazard down with the hammer, Complete Control and can now carry it wherever it wants to...OVER to the pit! Hazard...OH! Into the pit! The Reigning Middleweight champion is out! What a shock! Samuel lowers his controls and goes to shake hands with Paul. Complete Control took a right battering, but turned it around at the end!

Simple tactics against Cause and Effect, just try and get around nto the side to ram it around and flip it everywhere. Hopefully get it down the pit or over the fence.
Welcome back! Last time, Complete Control turned the battle around to pit Hazard and Deadly Lampshade knocked Isolation into submission!

The Hurting has beaten robots such as Absolution and Nitro-Gene 5.0 in the past. It hasnt changed: A petrol driven spinning disc that in turn provides kinetic energy for the rear flipper. Joey still wants to hold onto the title!
From England, Axeon 3.0!
A box wedge armed with a powerful Terrorhurtz-style pneumatic axe! It has magnets to keep it to the arena floor when the axe is fired. But its new, and inexperienced to FRFFT!

3-2-1: Activate!
The Hurtings disc has caused so much damage in the past, but Axeon charges in straight away and SPARKS fly! The disc connects with the Hardox armour, but AJ fires the axe, but The Hurting backs away to spin the disc up again! AJ gives chase, but The Hurting beats him to it. OH! The disc connects with the armour and more sparks fly! Axeons axe SMACKS onto the top of The Hurting, but no visible damage so far. Axeon backs away and The Hurting tries to chase it down, but Axeon turns around and The Hurting CATCHES it on the side! A gash down the side of Axeon, but that doesnt faze it. The Hurting turns around to use the flipper, but the disc has not produced enough energy, so Axeon is lifted up, but not over. The magnets have done their job so far, but OHH! The Hurting turns around to use the disc again and RIPS into the Hardox. Axeons axe comes down and JAMS into The Hurtings top armour. Sparks fly, but Axeon pushes The Hurting away, over the flames! The Hurting has a petrol engine which powers the disc, but The Hurting pulls Axeon away. A tug of war, it would seem. The Hurtings disc makes a few scratches on the armour, but nothing much. Now, IT pulls Axeon along and backs into the pit release button. The axe frees itself, and Axeon gets away to the centre of the arena. The Hurting follows and RAMS Axeon 3.0! OUCH! The front has a gash in it now. Joey wants that title badly! AJ fires the axe and SMACKS into the floor! OH! Its got itself stuck. The Hurting comes in with the disc and OUCH! The axe head split off! OH! Axeon backs away, only to be cornered by The Hurting in the CPZ and OH! The front armour has been buckled back slightly. Joey backs away, and Axeon swings its useless axe MADLY. It tries to get around the side of The Hurting and does so, but cant get under because of the buckled wedge. The last ten seconds count down. Sparks fly as the disc connects with the Hardox. Chips of armour litter the arena, but Axeon is still whacking away. Has it done enough, though?

Exactly, peak power and what a motor will actually do under battle conditions are rather different things, as Ive already told you :P
Two things, Tornado did not use standard 750s but rewound ones to better cope against burnouts.
Even then you will not get 7HP out of 2 Boshes unless you also go to exotic things like replacing magnets to rare earth and doubling up un brushes, effetively building a new motor really.
Up next, the final battle of the day. Superheavyweight flippers Cause and Effect and Vertigo battle it out for a place in the next round

Daniels superheavyweight is a box wedge that has removable side armour! For this battle, Daniel will be using them. The weapon is a powerful Co2 flipper. But once the Co2 runs out, that will have a very negative effect on this robot!
From England, Vertigo!
A similar design to its opponent, Lewis entered another Co2 powered flipper. There are side skirts to stop robots getting under it. With six wheel drive, it has good pushing power, but it has limited Co2!

3-2-1: Activate!
A flipper frenzy here. Two very good looking robots. Vertigo RUSHES Cause and Effect and THROWS it onto its back! Cause and Effect self-rights and turns to face Lewiss robot. Daniel tries to get under the sides, but the skirts on Vertigo wont let him...OHH! Cause and Effect flipped over again. Again it self-rights, but Vertigo SLAMS it against the angle grinder! Will it get it out...NOO! Almost, though! Cause and Effect against the wall on its side, but it crashes onto its top. It self-rights. Vertigo hits the pit release, but Cause and Effect has recovered and RAMS into the side, firing the flipper, but not getting it under those side skirts. Lewis takes advantage of the mistake and THROWS Cause and Effect onto its side again! What a fight this is. Cause and Effect self-rights, but gets SLAMMED into the angle grinder again by Vertigo! I like the look of Vertigo so far! Cause and Effect gets away, and this time, it tries to go for the back and FLIPS, but misses! Vertigo turns around and chases Cause and Effect across the arena, over the flame pit, but OH! Whats this? The front forks of Cause and Effect are stuck under the grinder! Daniel tries to get away, but he cant. Vertigo gets in from behind. OHH! Cause and Effect almost doing a complete 360 spin in the air as Vertigo flips it free. Cause and Effect self-rights again, but how long can it keep taking this beating? Vertigo gets under again and pushes Cause and Effect DOWN THE pit! What a fight! Lewis has won this round. Daniels robot looked so good, but it couldnt cut it in FRFFT: Series Two. Well done, Vertigo!

Ive decided to mix up the battles a bit. First up, Shrederator Supreme and UberForce 2.0, two superheavyweights, will be taking over the arena
From Florida in the USA, Shrederator Supreme!
The Revolutionists bigger brother, with extra weight on its side, it should cause bigger damage! Paul Cuomo and Brian Nave entered it, but if its flipped, Shrederator could get shredded!
From England, UberForce 2.0!
A Storm II style rammer, UberForce has no weapons, but with six wheels, makes up for that with speeds of 15mph! Still, the wheels are exposed and how effective is it, really?

Shrederator spins up to speed, and it moves over to the side to avoid UberForces front. AJ turns to face the spinning robot and charges HEAD ON! OHH! Sparks fly and Shrederator BOUNCED into the wall. OUCH! Like a pinball at the moment, Shrederator, but before it can spin up, UberForce SMASHES it head on again! Pushing it across, into Refbot! Shrederator escapes and spins up again. UberForce chases it down and OHH! Sparks fly and Shrederator once again OUT of CONTROL! It isnt out of control now, and UberForce CRASHES into it again, pushing it into the pit release button! Now, it pushes it around, closer...OH! Into the pit! That must have been the quickest fight to date! AJ is happy he survived Shrederators mighty force. He shakes hands with Samuel, so a good fight all around.

From England, Armoured Wedgie!
Lewis has entered this new robot. It has a powerful Co2 powered flipper and is based on a normal wedge. It can go up to 20mph, but it only has 25 flips in a fight, and once they are used up, what else can it do?
From England, Nitro-Gene 5.0!
The second seed in the Heavyweight Championship, Nitro-Gene was beaten by The Hurting in Series One. It hasnt changed much, and still has a Co2 powered flipper. Its invertible, but should it get flipped, the weapon becomes useless!

3-2-1: Activate!
Armoured Wedgie turns to the side to try and avoid Nitro-Gene, but Paul gets underneath and THROWS it onto its top! Armoured Wedgie self-rights and goes after Nitro-Gene. Nitro-Gene turns to face it but OHH! It gets flipped itself. The flipper wont be useful now, but Nitro-Gene gets around the side and pushes Armoured Wedgie into the angle grinder! Sparks fly, but no damage caused to Lewiss robot. It gets away and goes to the centre of the arena, only to be rammed in the side by Nitro-Gene again! It breaks free and THROWS Nitro-Gene back the right way up! Now the flipper WORKS! That was a good comeback by Paul! Armoured Wedgie was flipped over then. It self-rights, but Nitro-Gene gets under it and OH! Almost flipped out, Armoured Wedgie. Its stuck on the angle grinder, but it flips itself away. Nitro-Gene pushes the pit release button. Armoured Wedgie goes to get under it and THROWS Nitro-Gene onto its back again! Nitro-Gene rams from the side and pushes, ALMOST into the pit! Armoured Wedgie escapes and tries to get around the side of Nitro-Gene, it FLIPS, but Nitro-Gene not back the right way up! Nitro-Gene pushes it against the wall, but Armoured Wedgie flips it away! Nitro-Gene the right way up, but Armoured Wedgie flips it AGAIN! And again! Nitro-Gene must be feeling dizzy now. Armoured Wedgie has gotten underneath it and PUSHES it towards the wall! OHH! Nitro-Gene flies out! What a shock. The 2nd seeds out! Paul did well at the beginning, but Lewis turned it around to win!

The final battle of the Heat is the middleweight battle. Typhoon, the No 2 seed goes up against Purer, a good looking newcomer

The RAF and Will H have entered the Robot Wars Three Time Middleweight Champion! It was beaten by Xianghua III last time, but it wants the claim the FRFFT Middleweight title. It is easily flipped though.
From Wales, Purer!
A middleweight version of Constrictor, almost, Daniel has entered Purer for the competition. Its armed with a Co2 powered flipper, but with 2WD, is hasnt got much pushing power!

Typhoon spins up to full speed, but Purer goes over...to the pit release and presses the button! Daniel wants to get rid of Typhoon quickly, but Will sneaks up from behind. OH! Purer spun away. It gets away, but Typhoon clips it on the side and leaves a gash! Daniel recovers and Purer heads to the centre of the arena. Typhoon slows down, and Purer SLAMS into it. OHH! Sparks fly, and Typhoon on its side. Purer got one good flip in there! Refbot looks around. Purer waits there. Does it sense Typhoon is out. I think it is, because the Refbot is counting it down. Or is Typhoon out? Because I dont think Purer is moving either! Did Typhoon knock it out before being flipped?
1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10!

2. What happened to my plan of dodge to his sides and shove him to the edge and throw him out - with one flip? I siad I would only use the flipper in an OOTAing or self-righting situation. You ignored that, and Im annoyed, not of losing, I can take defeat, but of the fact that I said get to his side, which I did, and push to the sides and throw OUT, not throw straight over.
This is the 2nd Seed after it won Series One. Entered by Samuel, this time. It still has a Co2 powered axe, but at 9mph it is slow.

Entered by Alex, it is a wedge shape with an actuator-powered flipper and two smaller flipping arms to lift the opponent onto the main weapon! It can self-right, and is the faster in this fight by 3mph. Inexperienced, though.

Sith wants to avoid that mighty axe of Little Hitter, but Samuel gets the first hit on top and pushes Sith over the flame pit! Sith turns and tries to flip Little Hitter over, but OH! The axe makes a dent in the top armour of Sith! Sith charges forward and FLIPS! Little Hitter on its top, but it self-rights! Sith gets around the side and throws it over again! Pushing it into the CPZ, but Little Hitter self-rights and comes back on the attack again! Another axe hit on the top, but I dont think its causing much damage, that axe. Sith gets under the side and THROWS Little Hitter against the angle grinder! Little Hitter comes back down, but Sith pushes it into the wall again! Not much action so far. Little Hitter pushes back and now IT gets under Siths side and pushes it into the pit release! Sith breaks free and now turns the tables on Little Hitter, pushing it to the centre of the arena throwing it up, but not over! The axe makes another dent on the Kevlar armour of Sith, but Alex isnt fazed and pushes Little Hitter closer to the pit! OHH! Down it goes! Little Hitter is out! Sith is the winner. Well done!

First, a superheavyweight battle between No 1 Seed Drive and veteran Toro
From California in the USA, Toro!
Toro, in Series One, was flipped out by Ziggy. Now that Ziggy is out, Samuel is confident it wont happen again! Nothing has changed, but we know it is unreliable!
From England, Drive!
The Reigning Superheavyweight Champion in FRFFT, Drive has 8 drive motors that give it incredible speeds and pushing power. Its invertible, but with no real weapon, it wont get many points in damage!

3-2-1: Activate!
Drive doesnt want to be caught out by that flipper of Toro, so it sneaks around the side, but Toro catches it first. OH! Drive almost over, but it recovers and gets the wedge under the Inertia Labs robot. Pushing it against the wall. Toro FLIPS Drive upside down, but that wont stop it. It can run any way up. Drive escapes, but Toro follows it. Ramming into its side, Toro and THROWING it over again! Drive recovers and pushes back, ramming Toro into the angle grinder. No real damage, but Toro gets away again, only for Drive to crash into the side and push it into the pit release button! Down goes the pit, but Toro breaks free and throws the reigning champion onto its back again! Drive, theres not much you can do with it, is there? Toro smashes against it and pushes it towards the wall. Will it get Drive out? YES, IT DOES! The powerful flipper of Toro has defeated the reigning superheavyweight champion! Joey is OK with the fight, and he and Samuel shake hands. I think Toro could go all the way this time!
