    I have some freetime over Christmas and I do miss writing, so although I dont have time for the continuation of the main series of RS!! I can do this.

    4 people to enter 1 heavyweight vapour each, standard rules apply and it will take place in the arena used for RS!!3. Entries as fast as possible! It will be a basic league setup, each robots fights every other once

    I will be posting the battles 2 at a time, for anything else about rules see the RS!!3 thread

    So on a much smaller scale than before...

      The 2nd Revenge of Black Death

      Weight: 100kg
      Shape: Very low wedge with a Firestorm style wedge extension on the front
      Colour: Black Body, Blue Flipper
      Dimensions: 100 X 75 X 27
      Power: 2 X Bosch 750s @ 36v powered by a couple of NiCad batteries
      Top Speed: 13 mph
      Tyres: 2 X Foam-Packed Aluminium Tyres with urethane rubber on it for more grip
      Armour: 3.25mm Hardox everywhere
      Ground Clearence: Zero on the front, and 3mm on the sides, and 5.8mm on the rear
      Weapon: The weapon here is a flipper similar to Envy (forward hinged ), powered by 2 X 2kg Co2 Tanks. The power also matches Envy. Its capable of bringing out 30 to 32 flips and can flip up to 900kg. At the back, there is an 8kg vertical disc thats powered by an S28-400. It has 3 teeth on it to rip and tear out skirts/panels, and spins at 5000 RPM.
      Sriemech: Flipper. Side spikes can also stop the robot from getting beached.
      Strengths: Pretty Good Flipper, Deadly Disc, Nearly Impossible to Get under from front, Decent Pusher
      Weaknesses: Limited CO2, as always.

          Xmas SMASH!!

          Me please!!!

          Robot Name: Fling
          Dimensions (LxWxH): 100cm x 80cm x 40cm
          Shape: Shallow wedge with angled sides and a shaped rear to stop it getting stranded, as well as keeping the wheels on the ground if going up a wedged robot or a ramp. On the bottom of the wedge is a wedge extender, making the ground clearance 0mm.
          Colour: Half black and half white, with white decoration on the black side and black decoration on the white side. Celtic bands painted throughout the robot.
          Weight: 100kg.
          Drive: 2 Sinclair C5 Motors running at 24v, powered by Nicad Batteries.
          Batteries: 3x 3000mAh Nicads at 24v, giving 9Ah. These power both the drive and the winch needed for the weapon.
          Top Speed: Roughly 15 to 20mph.
          Wheels: 2 x 20cm diameter go-kart wheels filled with expanding foam instead of air. These are positioned at the back of the machine.
          Armour: 4mm Hardox for the wedge extender, 8mm Titanium on the sides and 6mm Titanium everywhere else.
          Weaponry: A €œleaf spring€ flipper mounted on the front of the machine. The concept is similar to Team Whyachi€™s Red Square, but with the flipper on an angle to toss robots lengthways AND upwards. Can you say OOTA? . The flipper plate itself is made from a tempered piece of 1 thick Titanium/Vanadium alloy, designed to spring back to a curved shape once it has been flattened. One section is fastened securely to the top of the wedge, with the tempered edge winched down so it lies flush with the rest of the wedge. When a robot is on the front wedge, the free end is released and the opponent is sent not only upwards, but also away from the machine. The flipping plate is winched down by an S28-150 Magmotor running at 24v, geared down 400:1.
          Turning circle: 0m.
          Ground Clearance: 0mm at front, 2cm at the back, varying between both on the sides.
          Srimech: Flipper.

                CTR (Crash Trashing Robot)

                WEIGHT: 100 kilos
                Body Shape: A box with a wedge at the front and an inverted wedge at the back. About a metre long, point 3 of a metre wide and point 2 of a metre high.
                Speed: 20mph.
                TC: 0.
                GC: 6mm all over except wedge, which meets at 0.
                Wheels: 4 inner.
                Armour: 4mm Hardox
                Power: 3x 12v batteries, plus Magmotors (S28-400s).
                Colour: Orange top and sides, blue underneath.
                Weapons: The mini wedge sports a nasty rear hindged, pneumatic CO2 flipper. Also, the back wedge, which contains a weapon of its own, a pneumatic spike, ala Spawn Of Scutter.
                Srimech: Crash runs inverted, and the sides stick out to prevent side-stranding. When upside down, the wedge at the back allows Crash to continue attacking, thanks to the spike.
                Inspiration: My old video-game friend, Crash Bandicoot.
                Notes: Says WOAH! whenever you hit his face (painted on his flipper) thanks to a sound-system inside. WOAH!, of course, being Crashs catchphrase.
                Strengths: Very fast and manuverable.
                Weaknesses: Tengu! Crash STILL hasnt forgiven him after the last time they met.

                Those are Chris stats. if he wishes to update them please do so soon Chris I wish to start writing. Tactics/predictions pleeeease!!

                  I think Samuels bot is actually quite good this time around, but I also think Dan call pull off a victory through a nice pitting. Fling to win.

                  Super Gore Septua vs. Crash Trashing Robot

                  Assuming those are the stats Chris is going to use, go at him from pretty much anywhere, preferably the sides to avoid the flipper, though. Once Ive got him, dont fool around, get pittin.

                  If theyre not...Ill have to wait an see, wont I?

                    Tacticles:

                    Limited CO2 self righter vs a flipper... Hmmm...

                    Main tactic is to get underneath and stop the disc or flipper from attacking me. Then try to either pit the machine as soon as possible, or flip it around a pit, either ending in the CO2 running out, the innards malfunctioning from impacts on the arena floor, or Sams machine ending up OOTA.

                    Prediction for other one: Chris practically anorexic machine (30cm wide!!) to fall through a gap in the arena floor (the pit )

                      Theres ONE adjustment Id like to make to those stats.

                      ARMOUR: 4mm Hardox, with a covering of 2mm orange fur. A teddy bear and Christmas stocking are attached to the left and right side, respectively.

                      Well, it IS Christmas, after all.

                      CTRS TACTICS
                      Ive got speed and manuverability on my side. I might as well use it. Turn it into a game of chicken, possibly.

                        Avoid the front, and get under. Then, flip it clear out of the arena. Stay well away from the wall and the pit at all costs, even if someone points a gun at my head.

                          Fling vs. The 2nd Revenge of Black Death

                          Fling powers out of the starting square as this first match of Xmas SMASH!! gets underway, with The 2nd Revenge of Black Death coming out of the blue square to meet Fling head on! Their ground clearances cancel one another out, but Fling gains the advantage this time and pushes in underneath, causing the rear flywheel of The 2nd Revenge of Black Death to scrape against the arena floor, unfortunately for Samuel though this stalemate lasts just a few seconds before Daniel hits the flipper button and Fling€™s spring operated launching weaponry throws The 2nd Revenge if Black Death high into the for it to come crashing down onto its back! Sam self-rights with his own flipper, and the veteran of Robot SMASH!! Series 2: Recharged and Robot SMASH!! Series III: Lock3d and Load3d now goes on the attack! In RS!!2 he was Revenge of Black Death, and lost out to tenth seed Killobite 5.0 in the second round of Heat L, but didn€™t do as well in the third season€™s hypothetical results and lost out to thirty-first seed Intriguer and Baldur Gamma in round 1 to crash out along with Robo-Mammoth. Here however Samuel wants to do better with this brand spanking new update and shows us this as he drives in underneath the side of Fling and turns it over quickly and easily with the front hinged flipper before turning and smashing into Fling with the rear vertical flywheel, which has been spun up to maximum speed by that magmotor! It knocks Fling back onto its wheels and scratches the paintwork, but it isn€™t very heavy and so does no real damage. And now Fling turns to get under the momentarily still flywheel of Black Death to drive in underneath and push it across the arena floor, firing the powerful flipper to send Samuel head over heels into the CPZ! Sumo Shock immediately drives in on the attack and slams Black Death into the spike strip, pinning the wedge shaped robot there for the full thirty seconds before releasing Samuel, who drives straight back into action and up and over the front wedge of Fling before Daniel Stickler can react, and with the rear of Black Death facing the back of Fling we know which robot has the deadliest backside....

                          CRASH!!!

                          Fling is flipped onto its back just on the outskirts of the CPZ, and the rear panel has been shaken a little loose on one side, but the other three sides are preventing any electronics from being exposed and so Fling proceeds to self-right, but he lands on top of Sumo Shock, who rams Daniel€™s Stickler€™s machine for the full length of the arena and into the pit release button as well as sending Flick high into the air with the force of the slam, allowing Daniel to land smack bang in the middle of the arena before Daniel drives away and goes around on the attack of Black Death again, scooping it up sideways and throwing Samuel high into the air for The 2nd Revenge of Black Death to come slamming down onto the flame pit, which makes no impact whatsoever against the hardox armour, but provides a good opportunity for the audience to chant the hazard€™s title enthusiastically! Black Death drives off again quickly though and takes a run at Fling, getting under the front end just before the flipper closes shut and ramming it across the arena, the crowd gasp in surprise as they realise the fight is almost at an end as Black Death reaches the pit and activates the front hinged flipper to topples Flick over the edge of the chasm and into the abyss!

                          CEASE!

                          Fling is flung into the pit; The 2nd Revenge of Black Death gets its second revenge as well as 3 points!


                          Super Gore Septua vs. Crash Trashing Robot

                          These two relatively new machines fly out of the starting squares as the green light is shown, with the RS!! veteran who reached the heat final in series 1 and 2, but didn€™t return for number 3 being the first attacker in turning away from the dangerous front of CTR and spinning quickly to grab the rear inverted wedge that houses the pneumatic spike, no good upside down! And CTR is very thin at just 30cm in width, allowing the claws of Super Gore Septua to pin it convincingly with the new pneumatic setup, gripping the parallelogram shaped machine in its claws and now using the extra traction granted by those tracks to pull CTR towards Matilda€™s CPZ!

                          CRASH!

                          The lady of Robot Wars strikes Chris€™ machine with her dangerous flywheel and sends it bouncing away across the arena, with the side panel having been removed by the force of the hit! But CTR is quick back on the attack and drives in underneath the rear of Super Gore Septua, pushing it across the arena and firing the nasty co2 powered flipper to topple the Kan Opener-esque robot onto its back, but Kody just drives forward once he€™s flipped and gets underneath the open flipper of CTR, bringing the claws into play again and this time digging into the internals on the side that was ripped off by Matilda! And all of a sudden gas starts leaking out of CTR - Super Gore has gone right through the co2 bottle and now CTR is weaponless! CTR struggles to escape, but Super Gore holds on in there and now pushes Chris across the Robotagon, this time pinning it against the pit release for a few seconds before releasing the parallelogram due to the thirty seconds grabbing rule. Chris drives away, but Kody follows, and though Chris manages to turn and get a wedge under the side of Super Gore Septua he has no weapons to fight it with, and he€™s at the wrong angle for the pit, so Chris just decides to do the best he can and ram Super Gore at Matilda, who is jauntily flaunting her dangerous backside at the perimeter of the CPZ!

                          CRASH!

                          As Super Gore is sent flying by the attack he too starts venting gas - the pneumatic system has been ruptured by the power from the force of the ram by CTR and the dangerous power of Matilda€™s flywheel, so now both robots are weaponless! Upon landing on the floor Super Gore drives back at CTR and Chris also drives at Kody, both robots meeting in the centre of the arena, but it seems that they€™ve struck a fault in the ground and neither can push the other backwards! Both reverse and drive at each other again, this time with CTR gaining the advantage and pushing Super Gore back into the spike strip before Kody manages to wriggle free and drives over CTR before spinning quickly and pushing CTR into Matilda€™s CPZ again! The house robot drives in underneath the inverted wedge of CTR and flips Chris onto the flame pit before turning with her flywheel and striking Chris at the unprotected side and tearing out the removable link!

                          CRASH!

                          CTR is left broken and beaten on the arena floor as the countdown begins.
                          10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!
                          Matilda hooks her battered toy with her tusks and drags CTR backwards across the arena, turning and dumping him sideways over the pit before spinning and ripping off his inverted wedge armour as well as knocking him into the pit!

                          CEASE!

                          Crash Trashing Robot is trashed; Super Gore Septua gores away to victory!

                            Hmm...thats a good flipper...kay. If I let Fling come to me, hell be able to get his front end into play more, cant risk that. Therefore Im going to chase him down, keep attacking, and try to stop him from using his flipper by getting round the sides and even the rear. Once I get in there and under him, crunch the armour, and deliver to the pit.

                              Avoid the front like the plague, and try to just get the back or sides, and use the flipper more than the disc. Of course, use the disc when needed.
