From 72 to 1 Extreme Continued!

You cant reach me, so its you who takes the most damage. Not to mention most of the energy aborbed by Tempest is transferred into the kinetic energy needed to make it bounce... Trust me Scott, in any head on charge you WILL come off worse than me

One thing - I never attack with my flipper because it is a self-righter mainly, and besides I know where to stick the heavy duty bearings, underneath the armour

Go Tempest, Spinny Thing Rechargeds disc drive shaft is very weak and under a lot of strain because of the weight of the disc

OK now, Vapourbots and House Robots In the mix, but now its come down to two vapourbot deadly spinners.

Scotts Spinny Thing Recharged and Franks Tempest Evil-Oution

Who will win the Foot on Mr. Psycho trophy? LETS FIND OUT!!!!!

        3
        2
        1
        ACTIVATE!!!
Both machines prepare to attack each other, both spin up very fast, but Tempest Evil-Oution gets to Spinny Thing Recharged very quickly and it gets an attack and sends back the spinner, and puts a crack in it, and it tries to spin up, but it does so much more slower now, Tempest Evil-Oution then attacks again and breaks the spinner again, and Spinny Thing Recharged has been dammaged and pinned in the corner while Tempest Evil-Oution hits the pit release button and then it attacks again, and the spinner stops, Tempest Evil-Oution then has one hell of a time destroying Spinny Thing Recharged as the sri-mech comes off from those upper teeth! Tempest Evil-Oution then goes at it again, and it keeps attacking, Spinny Thing Rechargeds outside spinner shell has a few teeth knocked straight off it now, and a couple bits of armour too. Tempest Evil-Oution though doesnt quit there, it rams it straight towards the pit, an then it ends up falling straight down on a bad movement by Spinny Thing Recharged, they go out and the rebellion ends!
        CEASE!

Spinny Thing Recharged has been charged with being spunout of this final.
TEMPEST EVIL-OUTION WINS THE HOUSE ROBOT REBELLION!!!!!!!!

Well done to Frank, who wins another trophy, this time with his bot, Tempest Evil-Oution! Frank has now two titles, this and the All-Star champion!

Two events, I believe to go now, next is the grudge matches, grudges from 72 to 1! and 72 to 1 Extreme! only, challenge any machines you want revenge on with vapour bots or real robots. But only a 3 grudge fight minimum please. And for vapourbots, please ACTUALLY PROVIDE STATS WITH YOUR MACHINES THIS TIME.

        Get entering!

OK, Ill enter to get the swing of the mood going.

Name of person I hold a grudge against;Andy JJ
            Why?;For questioning Leprosys stats

            Robot I will use;Baby Taz
            Built;In the Battlebots GBA game
            Weight;About 100 kilos
            Body shape;Lowish Spinbot
            Colour;Red
            Speed;15mph
Clearance;about 4mm to allow to spin
            Armour;Titanium
            Power;3x 12v batteries
Weapons; The Base spins ala Ziggo and it has a spinning mass that hangs down with blades on the tip, like in the game. They will bust through ANYTHING!
Srimech; Can self-right through sheer spinability (like in the game). Also has a tonuge, like Ziggos Tail.
            Strengths;Weapon makes it virtually indestructable
            Weaknessess;NONE!!!
Facts; The original Baby Taz is superheavyweight, but not by much. By drilling a few holes in the weapon and body, I could easily get it down again.
Claim for Indestructableness; The original Baby Taz has beaten Disector, Toro and Minion in under a minute...IN THE SAME BATTLE!!! And it took very little damage too.

                1) Who is Andy JJ?
                2) Questioning the stats, Im trying to make your spinning body move, if your going to ignore baisic facts, fine, dont get anywhere in competitions!
                3) Can you not get it, you want at least 1cm Ground Clearence to just about spin, youll still get trapped on debris with that!

Sure, Ill exept this challenge. Maybe I can give my FBS killer something to play with here Ill check with Matty if its OK first though. This gudge isnt from a 72 - 1 Series...

Besides, you beat me in the TTT of Extreme as well, unfairly I might add. I just posted that for extra stuff.

Plus, I want a grudge cos youre NOT reading my replys. I keep asking what do you want from me? and you keep replying rudly, saying I dont listen.

                    So I want a grudge;

                    1;For questioning the stats
2;For not reading ALL my replys
3;(the important one)For beating me in TTT

OK, Ive got everything sussed for the Leprosy ground clearance, it is now 1cm, and can you move Baby Taz to 1cm too, for spinability reasons.

The grudge is for the TTT now. You had youre friend last time, just try going 1on1.

Ill use my new FBS killer, The Nose

                            The Nose

The robot is a basic wedge shape, with a rear wedge, mainly to stop it flipping itself over backwards. At the front of the robot is a 15cm long nose that runs very low across the ground; this should mean I could get under any type of skirt and best of all I can slide under full body spinners without them getting too close to the robot.

It€™s driven by Hawker Genesis Nickel Cadium batteries powering two S28-150 Magmotors, the whole system is run on 24v. This time the motors have aluminium covers over the top of them to stop any overheating; it also acts as a bit of protection to stop bits getting inside and to stop them being shaken around a bit.

The wheels are two custom made solid wheels with aluminium hubs and a soft rubber tyre to give grip on all surfaces, weighing around 1kg each and are positioned inside the robot. The wheels are driven from the motors via a gearbox giving a top speed of around 15mph. The two wheels can also turn in dead on the spot fairly fast so I can keep the front or rear end to an opponent quite easily.

The front wedge is angled at just about 60* so it can slide under any opponent with ease, the angle may also get under a few skirts with the nose extension this should be no problem. This gives around dead on zero clearance at the front, leading up to around 1.5cm at the back of the robot; this should allow the wheels to move freely. I may also have an advantage in a pin to get out of it or to drive over bits on the arena surface without getting trapped.

The base-plate is made of 5mm thick Grade 5 Titanium while the rest of the robot is made of 5mm thick Grade 5 Titanium coated with a layer of €˜shock-absorbing€™ 5mm thick Lexan. The flipper is made of Steel 600 or Hardox, for the reasons its gonna be flipping full body spinners€¦

There is a rear-hinged flipper running all the way down the wedge and in the middle of the nose. It€™s powered by 2x 2.2kg CO2 bottles that drive a massive 80mm bore ram, the idea is to slide the nose under and then launch, for full body spinners launch them as quick as possible before they get to the robot.

The flipper can self-right the robot from all angles, the back and sides are rounded to help out

Well, I dont stand a chance (presuming youre talking to me, but what the hell! Onbly, however if you promise just to push ne down the pit if Im llosing miserably

                              Ill enter

TNC-(The new craze) Weight- 100 kg Speed- 8mph Armour 5mm Lexan and macralon compound. Locomotion- 4 wheel sand a caster below the robot Power- 4 Bosch 750s powered by a large nicad battery. Weapons- This weapon has been designed to kill Spinverter! It sticks out over a foot outside the front of the robot. Its a crusher powered hydraulically with a force of around 5 tones. The crusher is in axe form i.e. L-shaped but is driven vertically up and down as opposed to in an arc. The spikes on the crusher can be retracted to form a pair of spikes which we can use as a forklift, should the crusher be ineffective. Strengths- Excellent weapons system. Weaknesses- Uni directional-weaponry

Oh wait, I want vengance on Frank for beating me twice on slammer with the disc,

so using slammer III with the anti disc setup (the x positoned claws, powered by linear actuators for gripping made of titanium to prevent damage, with a rubber inside with grip to prevent escape, the pic of them was on my profile on the old forum) Then he cant damage my weapon so much but I can finally get hold of him.

If I loose this I am going to have to devise some weird wiry sptula tongs tpye things that will be so annoying to render.

Slammer III has stats at http://www.geocities.com/alex_j_holt/page7www.geocities.com/alex_j_holt/page7 as usaul although not including this setup.
