Oh poo.

The only way Im going to survive this is to charge in, guns a-blazing. Box-rush PsycloniZer right from the off and smack it into whatever happens to be in the way. I should have the advantage in a straight pushing match and I might even be able to saw the wheels if the cage stops in the right place, but that seems unlikely. Just charge the beast straight away, never give it a chance to spin up and hammer it into the nearest and deadliest arena hazard there is. Preferably the pit.

Can I ask though, I dont remember feeling too confident about that battle, especially not THAT confident, and I feel I was portrayed in a bad way - - and in addition, as much as I enjoyed fighting that house robot, I think it may have cost me the victory, but Im going put on a smile and go away to fix-up Nitro-Gene with those anti-dent tools and super-glue, and in addition, a crowbar and Im also going to make it a monocoque, and make it more spinner-proof than it already is...was

Dolce vs. Systematic Shocker: Dolces axe might not do too much to the 4mm Hardox armour of Systematic Shocker, and so i believe that with its greater power, Liams machine shall not create a shock for us, but shall pit Dolce.

Spin Dash Unleashed vs. PsycloniZer: Another Steven vs. AJ battle. And 1 when AJ has it in the bag.

Im using my lifting wedge for this bout. His axe wont et through my top armour, so Ill open the pit and push him in! Get around the sides to make it easier if I can, but the main tactic is PIT!! Good luck Chezza

Kody: Quite sure about that? The front of that bot is pretty low.

The warzone beckons, and so do the house robots. Damocles is in the arena, and so are the deadly quad axes of Double Whamlet.

This, is for a place in the Final, and already Systematic Shocker getting in underneath Dolce and lifting it! Dolce toppled, but its rights itself with the axe! Systematic Shocker is in play though, trying to get the wedge in again but it€™s still upraised a bit - there, now it€™s lowered. Dolce fires the axe and hits the wedge, denting the wedge very slightly, but Systematic Shocker is again under Dolce€™s front end and turns around to carry it to the pit release only for Dolce to fall off the wedge and try to have a go at the front end again. A very good choice for Liam to use the front lifting wedge it seems, because Dolce is having absolutely no luck getting at the front of it!

However, Systematic Shocker isn€™t looking too happy, its plan of pitting an opponent mostly drained when you turn and your opponent falls off the wedge€¦and it€™s backing into the pit release button. Okay. The pit descends. The siren wails. The audience is screaming €˜Pit! Pit! Pit!€™ but the way things are going, they won€™t get their wish anytime soon. Dolce is in there again, but simply cannot get underneath that zero ground clearance, trying to pin Systematic Shocker in place - WHACK! OOH! The axe flies€¦didn€™t see that coming, but there€™s hardly any damage as Dolce hit the direct center of the top of Systematic Shocker and it bounced off.

Chezza decides that since the front of Systematic Shocker isn€™t exactly open to opportunity, it€™d be better to check if the sides and rear are vacant, and turns and tries to manoeuvre around Systematic Shocker to get at them. Of course, since Liam has his robot€™s rear against the pit release button, he€™d be ill-advised to stay in that position, and so rockets away from the button, only to have Dolce crash into his side and indeed find its way under the skirts! Quick as lightning Dolce brings down the axe - WHACK! - but unlucky enough to strike dead between the tracks again, and unable to progress further now that Systematic Shocker has turned to face it and Dolce backs away quickly for a ram, but finds the gap closed as Liam comes in again and slides under the front end again, and taking Chezza to the wall! WHAM!

Dolce is bounced away with a considerable amount of force backing him, and ultimately props back onto its wheels, but the raging force known as Systematic Shocker continues, barely shedding any momentum as it turns sharply from the previous charge and barrels into Dolce€™s side before the latter can even think of getting away, and carrying it straight towards€¦THE DISC OF DEATH!!!

CRASH!!!

Hmm. A loud crash, but not quite the damage we expected to see. It€™s a gash, but a small one; however the pool of sparks shaken forth seems to have pleased the crowd for the moment. Dolce needs to desperately get back into this fight as Systematic Shocker, by my reckoning, is way on top here. Chezza implements the plans of getting to the sides of Systematic Shocker again, trying to wheel around the front, however centrifical force works to Liam€™s advantage as although Dolce can move around faster, the tracks don€™t need to turn as fast to keep up with Dolce€™s circling, and thus this keeps Dolce at bay€¦until that moment! What a manoeuvre! Dolce just turned the opposite way and made a 270 into Systematic Shocker€™s right side! Ah, but the skirt defeats Dolce€¦WHACK!

The right-side track, however, does not. Something flies off that track and immediately it breaks apart, disappearing into the slots of Liam€™s robot, as Liam gapes in his own shock. What. A. Hit! And I think we are seeing the life drain out from Systematic Shocker as he moves forward, tipping over something, which afterwards is revealed to be his track, and begins to move in circles. And now we can clearly see what happened: lying a little to the left of Dolce is part of Systematic Shocker€™s right-side track, and it€™s severely smashed up. Talk about aim.

Anf the house robots draw near€¦ahhhh€¦Damocles is coming€¦I wouldn€™t want to you right now, Liam! Dolce is in Systematic Shocker€™s face, on the same side, but still unable to get underneath that skirt€¦and pushing it towards the floor flipper€¦WHACK! Another full-pressure blow dealt straight in the center€¦oh dear. Systematic Shocker has been dumped there, still moving but only on one side€¦ah, come in Watcher. Yes, that€™s right, another robot to count out. Dolce is spinning around in victory, and any moment now€¦
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!

Systematic Shocker is out! Dolce moves on, and ahh€¦FLIP! Liam watches with resignment as his robot flies through the air, coming to rest near the pit€¦Damocles is going to make Liam pay for losing the winning grasp! STRAIGHT IN ON THE RIGHT SIDE!!!

CRASH!!!

Now THAT was brutal. With almost enough force to wrench the entire right side off the main body, Systematic Shocker is thrown into the air, and OVER THE PIT, amid a shower of sparks as he lands just near the arena wall on the pit€™s other side. Double Whamlet is in, and grapples the beaten box. WHACK! He adds a hit of his own but though beaten, the top armour remains whole€¦and another thing that is whole is Systematic Shocker€™s defeat as Whamlet twists round AND DOLCE COMES IN FROM BEHIND WHAMLET AND PUSHES THEM BOTH IN! Damocles isn€™t impressed by this cheekyness, but Dolce is running away€¦too late Damocles.

CEASE!

Systematic Shocker is stricken down by a thunderbolt of an opponent!
Dolce advances to the Final!!!

Steven: Um, oh dear. I guess it€™s box-rush time, then. Maybe I can get at the wheels if I stop him fast enough, but whoa nelly€¦

Steven: Heh, I€™ll need it.

Andy: Not half bad, thanks.
Kody: Finished repairing PsycloniZer?
Andy: Yeah, the battery got knocked out of place before Nitro-Gene killed itself on my hammer, and that€™s why I couldn€™t spin up, but that€™s taken care of now.
Kody: Your opponent be Spin Dash Unleashed; what€™s the tactic?
Andy: Ah, good ol€™ Steve. Should be fun. Anyway spin up and wreak havoc. Those skirts look tasty, and maybe I€™ll rip the saw off too.

Activate!!

The lethal ring of the Mechanical Noise 1 champ awakens and steadily makes its way up to speed, only for Spin Dash to come crashing into it a mere second later! PsycloniZer€™s attack is stopped and he€™s shoved across the arena€¦straight into Taki-san€™s CPZ! An early strategy gives Steve the edge, and Spin Dash beats it as Taki lifts PsycloniZer€™s hammer up into the air, lifting the wheels off the ground too - WHAM! Oh dear! Asterix slams right into the spinner and sends PsycloniZer overtop of the ninjabot, and further into the CPZ! He€™s tilted on Taki-san€™s rear end, and Taki pushes, tilting PsycloniZer just up enough, and€¦

CRASH!!!

The cutting blade certainly indeed did some damage there, right into the underbelly of poor old PsycloniZer. It may be Hardox, it may be 3.25mm, but it€™s still been dented and that will count against him in the judges€™ decision. Now, how can he get out? Taki€™s got him balanced against her and the arena wall, Asterix and Spin Dash and roaming around€¦and Spin Dash decides to attack the pt release button! It comes flying off! Augh€¦anyway the pit is opened, and Taki still has PsycloniZer straddled against the CPZ walls€¦and The Watcher moves in to take control - ah, don€™t bump into Asterix, that just makes him angrier€¦Taki gets out of the way as PsycloniZer lands with a big SMACK onto the ground and is immediately attacked by Spin Dash!

The saw is spinning, however it€™s hitting nothing as Spin Dash pulled a Nitro-Gene and hurtled straight into one of the hammers. Unlike that moment however, the internals are nowhere near exposed and PsycloniZer is pegged in there once again! Taki moves back in - OI! The Watcher just€¦tipped Asterix onto his side! Why did you do that, refbot? Asterix was clearly in the CPZ! €¦WHAT?! THE YELLOW CARD?! €¦well perhaps the refbot saw something we didn€™t, but now Asterix has been taken out of the battle, immobilized by the refbot!

Meanwhile, Taki has lifted up PsycloniZer with the wedge€¦but can€™t really seem to get any hold because Spin Dash is pinning himself on one of the hammers€¦and in comes The Watcher again to try and get PsycloniZer out of there. He troubles the rear of Spin Dash and hauls him into the air with the lifting arm€¦but that means Taki has him pinned against the wall and lifting him there! Spin Dash is thrown aside by The Watcher as the ref takes control, ramming into Taki, but PsycloniZer is already propped up against the wall€¦and The Watcher rams into him now and releases him! AJ is VERY relieved at this as his spinner feels the earth under his wheels. Spin Dash is shoved aside by The Watcher as PsycloniZer is given room€¦to spin up!

Hurriedly Spin Dash comes flying after him, but PsycloniZer nimbly dodges the charge and is mid-way up to speed already. Spin Dash does an about-face and comes screaming in again, but it is also dodged, albeit closer this time around. And that, I€™m afraid, has given AJ the time he needs to spin the hammers up! Spin Dash once more flies straight towards his enemy, and his enemy does the honourable thing: comes flying straight at him!

CRASH!!!

Spin Dash gets the total impact of that and is sent spinning across the arena in a crazy spinning rave! PsycloniZer remains steady and keeps the ring going, yet slowly, yet getting back up to speed. Only when Spin Dash stops do we see the real damage, and real damage there doesn€™t seem to be, as Steven whips his machine around and moves it in PsycloniZer€™s direction. AJ backs away, and Spin Dash goes faster and faster, but too late to avoid getting belted once again!

CRASH!!!

The VFT1 runner-up takes another bash to the front, but still it€™s not looking bad at all, and Spin Dash comes in for another attack - oh, but that won€™t do, he€™s gone straight into one of the hammers and, while stopping the ring, can€™t push PsycloniZer around effectively! They€™re locked together in a tango, Spin Dash pushing against the hammer and spinning the pair around in circles - ah, there we go! Spin Dash is away - ooh€¦the ring is spinning on PsycloniZer again. Spin Dash makes another U-turn and moves in to stop the ring€¦PsycloniZer moves away to dodge, but is followed! Followed? Why? The ring is back at full speed! PsycloniZer spins around to meet the face of his opponent!

CRASH!!!

AND SMACKS IT RIGHT OFF!!! The Hardox panel is swept away, those hammers quite above the sawblade and smacking into the panel, sending it flying clean across the arena, and now the Scottish sawbot is completely exposed from the front! Spin Dash is not looking too good right now, but he€™s not about to give up the ghost just yet! Turning around, he shows his rear to PsycloniZer and backs in€¦PsycloniZer moves away yet again, the hammers not having lost any of their deadly potency during the last hit, and now again is at full speed! What a recovery PsycloniZer has made since the beginning of the match and now he€™s looking to finish it! Spin Dash backs in again and PsycloniZer tries to get a hit on one of the sides! Too late!

CRASH!!!

The rear skirt gets smacked off, but a second less powerful hit is unable to stop Spin Dash€™s charge and he takes PsycloniZer all the way to the wall! WHAM! PsycloniZer is pinned yet again! Spin Dash hurries to bury the blade in€¦oh dear. I think I just saw some rubber fly out from under the MN1 champ€¦PsycloniZer is released through another intrusion by The Watcher and Spin Dash backs off€¦to find that PsycloniZer is very much mobile, and very much spinning up that ring again! Spin Dash turns around, trying to line up his rear with PsycloniZer, but AJ keeps his rather-shuddering robot moving€¦and once again, he€™s able to get to that lethal RPM and maximum kJ factor he€™s able to release!

Spin Dash desperately moves in for an attack€¦and PsycloniZer moves towards Taki-san€™s CPZ again€¦whatever could this be for? Spin Dash is still coming in, locked onto PsycloniZer€™s location, and braces for impact. Swiftly AJ moves his bot aside, and Spin Dash blows right by! Then, quickly, he drives PsycloniZer straight into Spin Dash€™s side!

CRASH!!!

What a tactic! Forget the right-side skirt that just got ripped off; that blow just sent Spin Dash into Taki-san€™s CPZ! And Taki is at that aforementioned side€¦lifting, and lifting, and trying to stack it€¦but the left-side skirt is preventing this€¦PsycloniZer is moving in again! Taki, I€™d get out of the way if I were you! And moving away is certainly what the house robot is wisely doing at this stage! Spin Dash falls back to earth€¦and straight into the path of PsycloniZer, who€™s entered the CPZ with wrath!

CRASH!!!

And I don€™t think Spin Dash stands a prayer now! Good-bye, sawblade! The hammer entered the exposed area and just ripped gears flying! €¦in fact, forget standing. Spin Dash isn€™t even moving. PsycloniZer moves in and nudges his opponent€¦nope. Now Taki moves in€¦lifts€¦and is finally able to stack it against the wall properly. The Watcher moves in to take control now, it being his fort. PsycloniZer moves out and tackles the pit release button which is lying on the floor! How disrespectful of the arena can you get?! Count out, please!

And we have our Final match-up, and PsycloniZer will go on to meet Dolce in that match, but all Spin Dash has to look forward to€¦is his own destruction. Taki-san buries the blade in again.

Minimal damage, small dent, and - HEY! PsycloniZer, will you stop messing, with our arena pit release button?! It€™s€¦been swatted - HAHA! Right into Spin Dash. How ironic. Taki€™s hit smashed Spin Dash off the wall€¦and now she€™s lifting it, oh, got it straight up into the air too, completely on the wedge€¦turn to the pit, m€™dear. Dump it down€¦BOOM! Out goes Steve -

CRASH!!!

OI!!! What in - PsycloniZer has just struck Taki-san€™s own blade, and sent her into the pit!!! Now he€™s slightly wobbling away! Your impudence will cost you, Mr. Jackson€¦and not just some tire rubber€¦

Guess Ill post tactics for the match with Dolce. Here goes...

Gonna try and stop the hammers from PsycloniZer and get in between them. Will also try and attack the exposed tires too.

I suppose what happens will depend on which set-up Liam chooses. Basically, Ill keep to the sides and chew up those skirts as per. I hope the saw blade will be strong enough to give the titanium tank tracks some proper damage, but if not, stick to the sides and ram it into any and all arena hazards.

Dolce vs. PsycloniZer

That convex wedge shape doesnt look very easy to get a hit in, so I will have to turn my attention to the sides. In doing so, I hope to avoid any axe shots. But hopefully the cage will prevent the axe getting too close to the bodywork to cause any damage. The sides are nice and square so hopefully, like in the last match, a good hit on them could cause some serious damage and potentially tear the whole panel away. The side skirts are another option to try and rip away at. In terms of armour, 9mm Titanium isnt to be underestimated, but PsycloniZer has been through thicker... again, Ill probably focus more towards structural weakening and shock damage rather than slicing into the armour. Good luck, Chezza, Im looking forwards to this.
