The Fight against House Robots Revisited

So any suggestions for the require element for destruction?

First of all a cardboard box was sent back to an atomic level by Golden Lotus
Then an old broken toaster was put behind a floor and Magnavox, hence it was flatter than a flat piece of paper which had just been steam-roller over by the worlds largest steam-roller (driven by evil Frank).

Im thinking about a table or maybe a kettle

(and before anybody says anything the head of Mark/Timmy doesnt count)

The Fight against House Robots Revisited

Note I didnt say which Sunday

            The World€™s Slowest Writer Presents:

Fight against the House Robots Revisited, Round 1, Fight 3

So far into the 2nd round is 2 teams of vapourbots, so will the house robots make a fight back to claim their first win?

Armoury & Clone of Armoury vs. Apocalyptinator and Custard Cream.

The first robot into the arena today is Armoury, driven by the one and only original Mark, this machine according to Andy has 2 wheels externally mounted somewhere on the body plus 2 wheels where you would be expecting them to be, it is invertible and is a box with a front wedge, with a 20kg spinning disc mounted somewhere, which I will be assuming it€™s mounted at the back of the machine.

The 2nd robot into the arena today is Clone of Armoury, which is basically Armoury right down to the same colour apart from a large patch on the top of the machine to tell the 2 clones apart.

The 3rd robot into the arena today is Apocalyptinator, it is a heavy armoured wedge with mighty vertical flywheel of which I€™m assuming is mounted on the front for max damage, and there is a flipper at the front which is a flipper and also self-righter. The drive system is mighty powerful, and so is the armour, due to the power from the drive, the ground clearance is rather low on the front and rear, but you have to be quick to attack this 500KG monster as one hit from that flywheel could send your robot into outer space.

The 4th and final robot into the arena today is Custard Cream, this 300kg robot is mainly a land-based slicing machine, with a 50KG sharpen sword swinging around attached to the rear of the sword is a 75KG block of lead and some nasty springs so once the sword gets swinging it takes a lot to stop it if it catches you. The armour is only 6mm Hardox, and it has 8 wheel drive, but can turn as well as a 4 wheel drive system due to its semi-unique dolly system, driven by Paul, he is hoping to have a slice of Armoury for his Gin and Tonic tonight.

All 4 robots are ready, the clones are ready to attack, Apocalyptinator is ready to be evil and Custard Cream is ready to slice:
            3
            2
            1
            Activate

Apocalyptinator is away, straight away, no holding this machine back, as the flywheel€™s variable drive system starts spinning the flywheel up to deadly speeds by slowly bringing in the 4 motors, as Custard Cream€™s light on top is on, signalling to Paul that the sword is ready to fire. Armoury and Clone of Armoury are getting their weapons up to speed, as Mark dodges an early attack from Apocalyptinator as Clone dives out of the way, as Apocalyptinator ploughs on forward, spinning around on it€™s tracks. Meanwhile Armoury is getting ready to attempt to attack Custard Cream, as Paul is lining up an attack.

Clone dives again away from Apocalyptinator, as Liam gives chase, the slightly higher speed of Clone manages to pull it away from Apocalyptinator, but Liam is driving Clone towards Armoury, as Mark€™s machine has to dodge Clone to prevent his machine being taken out by his own team mate, but the dodge of Clone brings Armoury straight into the path of the raging Apocalyptinator, which flywheel hits the rear end of Armoury, sending Mark€™s machine flying, as it crash lands into the arena wall, still doing some speed, the chassis gives way and folds in onto itself, as it crashes down onto the arena floor, a complete and utter mess. It€™s 2 house robots against 1, as Custard Cream tracks down Clone, as Apocalyptinator is also tracking down Clone. Clone of Mark is getting worried as he has to dodge not one but 2 house robots, as Apocalyptinator make a raging attack towards Clone. Clone of Mark dodges Apocalyptinator, but Custard Cream is on top of it, or on the side of it, as Clone is trapped in the trap, the flywheel making a little mess of the side armour of Custard, but the light goes out as the 50kg sword swings around powered by a 75kg counterweight and some springs, as Apocalyptinator is standing next to Clone to prevent it running away as the sword hits, Clone is pushed up right against arena wall, so it can€™t get anywhere as a bang is heard as the sword and Paul redraws.

Apocalyptinator holds back as clone of Mark holds up his tapping out card

            Cease

Armoury is destroyed; Clone of Armoury now comes in 2 parts as the sword either sliced the insides or pushed them into other parts to compete its swing, as Apocalyptinator and Custard Cream moves forward onto round 2.

I push, Frank moves around a bit and attacks people as well as taking advantage of what I push at him.

Sakura seems a nice shape to fit around my claws, so go for that. If Mr. LOX Box sticks his snout in, feed him to his own teammate.

If Chris has a better idea then Im open for suggestions.

The Fight against House Robots Revisited

The constantly delayed 4th fight of the tournament:

                    Paramagnetic Lox Box & Sakura vs. Exa-Gore-Ic & Die-Ro

It€™s the final fight of the first round, and what do we have into the arena today? Is it the Paramagnetic Lox Box or PLB as I shall now be calling it, and yes it is. Joey€™s hexagon shaped machine is powered by some screws which are already making a mess of the floor by moving the semi-fixed grip partials, it has a top speed of 12 mph and some traction with the wedges, however it lacks a weapon and with that lowish top speed it€™s more of a defensive machine not an attacking machine.

Which is where Sakura, Frank€™s full bodied spinner, comes into play, with it€™s mean evil spinning weapon, plus some confetti, however the judges have decided to be spoil-sports and not allow Frank to fill the confetti boxes up with confetti for some ancient by-law. This evil looking spinner has 4 wheel drive, and clocks in as a top speed of 12 mph, but with 360 worth of attack, who would want to risk their front end or sides?

Fighting for the house robots today is Exa-Gore-Ic, this 4 wheel drive machine has a pair of crushing jaws at the front, twinned with a powerful spike to spike other machines, but it€™s weakness of not having a CAD could cost Kody dear in another tournament, but not in this tournament, due to the weight the top speed is only 10 mph, but I have been informed that it gets there rather quickly, will Mr Gore crush it€™s way to victory?

The 4th robot into the arena today is Die-Ro, this 200 kg house robot contains a powerful punching drive, with a wedge with a strange lifting head, which is designed to flip other robots. It has a top speed of 8 mph, but it has some punch from the motors, driving its 2 rear wheels.

The introductions have been done, so therefore, only time will tell whom will win:
                    3
                    2
                    1
                    Activate

Gore is away, and so is Die-Ro, both have punchy drive systems, as Sakura starts to spin, as Joey starts driving around at random trying to draw either house robot in, as Gore comes in towards Sakura, trying to get the spinning machine into the claws to give it a little crush to damage Sakura so that she can€™t spin around anymore. Frank dodges the attack, and spinning around almost makes contact with the side, but Kody dodges the attack and tries to attack Sakura again. Once more Frank€™s expert driving skills are put to the test as he dodges the ramming attack from Gore, but he can€™t attack fast enough to land a blow. Gore drives away and towards PLB.

Meanwhile, PLB and Die-Ro are having a little dance, PLB keeps on dancing away from Die-Ro€™s attacks, but can€™t launch into a counter-attack because it has no weapons, as suddenly Gore slams into PLB, as Die-Ro forces PLB into another dodge. PLB is trapped between the claws, which are slowly crushing PLB, as Kody unloads the spike into PLB, however the Hardox armour doesn€™t give way that easily to the spike, however something pops as the crushing action continues, Kody driving away from Sakura€™s attempt at a sneaky attack, as Kody spins Gore around with PLB still in a killer blow as Frank has to dodge the attack from Gore, but with Die-Ro waiting for Frank.

Frank panics and manages to successfully dodge both Gore and Die-Ro with the spinning body, as Sakura gives chase to Die-Ro. Chris is trying to get away, but he is running out of space in the arena, forcing Die-Ro into making a turn, as Sakura gets first blood and manages to score a direct rip, causing some serious looking damage to the head. Meanwhile Kody has had to release PLB from the claws of Gore, but as soon as he does and PLB drives away, some Hardox panels, fall off the side of PLB, the stress of holding out against the claws has managed to break the joints. Gore now turns and drives towards Die-Ro, which has taken another blow, as Kody almost gets a direct hit onto Sakura, but Frank manages to dodge the attack once more, but Die-Ro is underneath Sakura, but without a working weapon, Chris is annoyed.

Kody slams into the front of Die-Ro, as Sakura gets away, hitting the side of Die-Ro, but Gore is too fast and traps Sakura into the claws, the spinning body coming to a rest as the claws start to crush the machine, causing minor damage to the insides of the claws, but the full crushing power comes into play, as Kody pushes Sakura towards the open pit and drops Frank€™s dangerous spinner down into the pit, not doing any damage to the actual machine, as both Gore and Die-Ro turn to PLB, as Joey is looking worried as Die-Ro takes PLB from the left and Gore takes PLB from the right, the wall behind PLB and the rough section in which Joey makes his escape, crashing onto the raised section, the screws are not getting much grip, as PLB is spun around, the raised ridges causing chaos with the screws, as Gore comes into attack, scooping up PLB in the claws, crushing it a bit more, and driving over the rough section, the wheels making easy work of the soon-to-be-retired arena hazard, driving PLB towards the pit, where Kody drops PLB down the big dark hole with Sakura.

                    Cease

Sakura and Paramagnetic Lox Box ends up in the pit, Exa-Gore-Ic & Die-Ro go forward to the 2nd round.

Seung Mina IV & Whirligig 4.5 vs. Apocalyptinator and Custard Cream

                      Heh, didnt expect that.

Seung Mina IV & Whirligig 4.5 vs. Apocalyptinator and Custard Cream

Oh boy. Go for Apocaly...things sides and try and flip it over. Due to the weight and leverage, Im not so sure that self-righter on Liams HR is going to work. Then go for Custard Cream, which Whirly will hopefully have stalled for me... Im not so sure that Custard Creams srimech will fail, so try and get it down the pit if I can, even if I flip it. Keep ploughing on, no matter how much damage I acquire.

                      Nitro-Gene 4.0 & Alpha-Rex vs. Exa-Gore-Ic Evo & Die-Ro

Lets see. Two powerful flippers vs. an invertible bot and, apparently, a bot impossible to get on his back or to strand. Ill go for Alpha-Rex first as its higher and Ill be able to grapple onto it better. Drag to pit immediately. Then...the bot I really wanna kill. I dont think my claws will be low enough, and if they arent, then Ill just ram him to death. Into walls, pit, anything.

Predictions: David Sheppard to write more w00ty battles.

Oh my god, it€™s another fight

Fight against house robots revisited, round 2, fight 1

Due to an arson attack, the Swamp has been destroyed, replacing it is the tried and tested standard Robot Wars arena, with a slightly higher wall and a pit which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Seung Mina IV & Whirligig 4.5 vs. Apocalyptinator and Custard Cream

In the first round, Seung Mina and Whirligig had a tough task against Golden Lotus & Night Stalker, but won the tight judges decision when Seung Mina pitted Night Stalker, but Whirligig took an awful lot of damage. Of which the majority of the damage has been repaired, with Steven working 20 hour days hammering the damaged chassis back into shape, replacing the damaged parts and refitting the shuffling system, however where he has been able to do low-speed tests of the spinning rim, he hasn€™t been able to get it to high speeds due to safety. Seung Mina has been repaired, ready to face the destroyer.

Apocalyptinator smashed Armoury to pieces and Custard Cream sliced Clone of Armoury into two using its powerful slicing sword blade, where once it gets moving, not a lot can stop it swinging.

All 4 robots are in the arena, as its eyes down for a spot of bingo.

                          67

                          48
                          1
                          6
                          Bingo

Apocalyptinator is away, speeding around with Liam€™s gearing for the spinning weapon kicking the motors slowly into play to accelerate it from zero to its top speed, and Whirligig has started to spin as Steven goes into unproven ground as he starts to walk around. Meanwhile Custard Cream is driving around at random, and Seung Mina comes in with a storming attack onto the sides of Apocalyptinator. Liam dodges Kody€™s attack as Custard Cream gives chase towards Seung Mina, but Kody manages to avoid Paul€™s attack. Meanwhile Whirligig is spinning around; a horrible sounding noise is coming from one set of the bearings, as 2 pieces of metal are grinding against each other, as Steve dodges the attack from Apocalyptinator, as Kody attacks Paul€™s house robot on the sides.

The sword fires to prevent Seung Mina from getting under; however it misses as Kody gets in and underneath and fires the flipper sending Custard Cream onto its back, Paul fires the self-righter as Whirligig tries to attack Apocalyptinator, but Liam dodges Steve€™s attack, whose broken bearing has started to glow red hot where the pieces of metal are causing friction by rubbing together, as Apocalyptinator launches into an counter attack, narrowly avoiding a slam from Seung Mina, as Custard Cream is back onto it€™s wheels and chasing Kody€™s machine, Apocalyptinator and Whirligig finally clash horns so to speak, as the vertical disc of Apocalyptinator tosses Whirligig up, as Steve machine lands, the spinning outside making an awful mess of the arena, as Seung Mina attacks Custard Cream again and with a carefully timed flip, sends Custard Cream out of the arena.

Apocalyptinator rams into Whirligig again, sending Steve€™s machine into the air again, as it lands and bounces, some internals come out, Steve looks in horror as Apocalyptinator shows no mercy and slams into Whirligig again, sending parts flying in every direction. Meanwhile Seung Mina slams under the sides of Apocalyptinator and flips it onto it€™s side, where the spikes allow Apocalyptinator to fall, gently straight onto the flipper of Seung Mina, where Kody sets the controls to the heart of the pit, and with a casual flip, sends Apocalyptinator down the large black hole.

                          Cease

Seung Mina is the star of the show, as his team-mate once more has to rebuild Whirligig before the 1-on-1 fights in the next round. Custard Cream is out of the arena, and Apocalyptinator is down the pit.

The 2nd and final round 2 fight is:
                          Nitro-Gene 4.0 & Alpha-Rex vs. Exa-Gore-Ic Evo & Die-Ro

Anybody want to give Steve a hand in rebuilding Whirligig for a 2nd time?

Even with my power, pushing him may be a bit of an issue, so Ill just attack his sides and flip until hes close enough to the edge, then me and Liam come in, and with our combined 1600kg working in unison, well produce 3200kg, and send Kody out. Then we both gang-up on Chris, and do the same again.

                              Good luck Kody and Chris.
