Well, at least I don't use fictional components in my robots, and blatantly insult people(like I used to).

What exactly does that have to do with my last post? I'd be quite pleased to be enlightened on that.

I'm trying to point out that if I'm still a worthless idiot(like last time), I'm not as worthless and as much of an idiot as I was back then.

And at what time, since you came back in April, did I say you're a worthless idiot?

And no, what you said there doesn't have anything to do with that post of mine. If you really must know, I was telling you (once again) to be patient. :P

            Oh...

Well, I don't think I've bumped any tournies as of my return... except for me giving tactics and predictions...

And the patience thing might be due to me eating a bunch of sugar. Last night, I had 3 caramel turtles, and well, that's just too much.

But let's follow what you said, and stop posting in here. Samuel will get this done... when he wants to.

              Intrigue VS Son of Ripper

Michelle: Well, Kody. This is it. If you win, you have another robot into the grand final. Do you think you can beat SoR?
Kody: Uh... no. I don't think I can, but if I beat it, then it would be a miracle.
              Michelle: Haha. M'kay, tactics?
Kody: Axe it to hell, maybe? After all, he IS going down.
Michelle: Ooh, them's fighting words from the Kodster. All right, get out there and make some noise!
Kody: You know it... and PLEASE tell AJ I'll be preparing my will.
              Michelle: Hahahaha!

Michelle: Well, AJ, is SoR ready to fight?
              AJ: Yes it is.
Michelle: M'kay, you are up against... Intrigue!
AJ: It's probably going to be difficult, since he IS the champion of EOTR4, but the ground clearence is 5mm on the sides, so I will avoid the front, and get under the sides, and then try to flip it over the fence ASAP.
Michelle: All right, best of luck.
              AJ: Thank you.

              (BATTLE 5!!!!)

              Ladies and Gentlemen, Please Welcome...

              INTRIGUE!!!

              SON OF RIPPER!!!

              Roboteers, Stand By...

              Booth 1: Intrigue
              Booth 2: Son of Ripper

              3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!

Immediately SoR gets the rear spinner up to speed, but Intrigue now slams into the side of the SoR machine and strikes its axe right into the top armour, clearly avoiding the flipper!
              WHACK!!
That makes a hole in the armour, and SoR shakes off the attack! Now, it manages to fight back with some flipping action!
              FLIP!
Now, Intrigue comes in again, clearly avoiding the flipper! Now it comes and crashes into the side of SoR, and pushes it into the wall at once!
              WHAM!
Ooh! That's got to hurt, and now, Kody, looking a bit agitated, fires the axe button, and down comes the axe, straight onto the top armour of the machine from Shrewsbury!
              WHACK!
That attack also makes another hole in the armour! The axe is wreaking havoc, and now AJ cannot take it anymore, so he drives SoR into the pit button, and the pit goes down! Now, SoR tries to get underneath the sides of Intrigue, but it gets away just in time, and now SoR tries to use the spinner on Intrigue!
              CRASH!
Intrigue is spun away slightly, but there is very little damage being caused by the spinner. Now, in comes Intrigue again, and avoiding both weapons, it gets underneath the sides of SoR once again, slams it into the wall, and Intrigue fires the axe again, and the axe comes down hard!
              WHACK!
Intrigue's axe is just causing a lot of damage to SoR here, and you can see the holes made in the top armour! Now, SoR uses the flipper again, and gets underneath the sides of Intrigue, and now it carries Intrigue ever so close to the wall, and FLIPS!
              FA-LIP!
Ah-ha, not high enough for you, mate. Intrigue just bounces off the wall and lands upside down! SoR will get some points for that attack if this battle goes to a judges decision. Uh oh, but now, Intrigue self-rights, and gets under the sides of SoR yet again, and now, it pushes SoR ever so close to the pit... and IT GETS AWAY AGAIN! Very good defense there by SoR, and same goes for Intrigue; that was a great attack made by Kody! Both bots continue to go for the jugular here in this fight. Now, Intrigue was actually a champion in a major competition known as Eye of the Robot (although it was a slight hypo ) and it's one of the favourites to win here, in my opinion. SoR is a great machine too, and it was a runner-up in VFT 7.5, where it was beaten by The May Tracks. Anyway, SoR now hits Intrigue's side with the spinner!
              CRASH!!
Again, Intrigue gets spun away a little, but there is little damage caused. But now, Intrigue comes in again, gets underneath the sides and fires the axe immediately!
              WHACK!
OH! Another hole has been made in the top armour of SoR, and now, Intrigue grabs tight hold of it! Now, SoR is being dragged towards the pit, and it cannot get away... the wheels are spinning, and the flipper fires, but it still cannot get away, and the end for SoR is straight down the pit... and BOOM! Down it goes!

              CEASE!

Son of Ripper should learn a lesson from Jack the Ripper. :P
INTRIGUE GOES THROUGH TO THE GRAND FINAL!!!

Sam: Well, AJ, you were THIS close to making it!
AJ: I know, but I guess I'll have to accept it for now.
Sam: Now, tell me; what went wrong?
AJ: He had the better traction, and although I had put up a good fight... yeah, it didn't happen.
Sam: Ouch. You coming back next year?
              AJ: Oh yeah.
Sam: All right, you've been a brilliant contender, and gallant loser! Let's all hear it for Son of Ripper!!!!!
              (CROWD CHEERS)
Sam: Oh... my... God! You have another robot into the Grand Final!
              Kody: I know, right?
Sam: What was your tactic for this fight?
Kody: Grab and Pit, that was the main thing. Nothing special.
Sam: All right, so how do you think Intrigue would do?
Kody: Well, it entirely depends on who my opponent is, but I'm feeling confident.
Sam: All right, ladies and gentlmen, raise your voices for INTRIGUE!!!
              (CROWD CHEERS LIKE HELL)

              • Re: My first REAL tournament... ROBOBASH!!!!

I just realized this: in the previous battle, what I really meant to say was that Intrigue made a lot of dents in SoR's armour, NOT holes. Sorry if you have misunderstood. (Argh, I should've fixed it when I had the chance / )

Whirligig VS Archangel of the Abyss

Michelle: Well, Steve, Kody got another robot into the grand final. Can Whirligig do it?
Steve: I don't really know but I'll do my best.
Michelle: OK, you are up against... Archangel.
Steve: Erm... Oh boy. This is going to be pretty difficult, indeed.
Michelle: ...and why do you say that?
Steve: Well, he has the weight advantage, for once.
                Michelle: Mkay, tactics?
Steve: Tactics... hoo boy, well, spin up and kill it, not much I can do really...
Michelle: All right, best of luck.
                Steve: Thank you.

Michelle: Well, the Archangel is ready to go, I believe?
                Alex: That is right.
Michelle: Alright then, your opponent: Whirligig.
Alex: Erm... wow, I'm speechless. The thing is, although I have the weight advantage, he has the better control.
Michelle: Hmm... that could be a problem. Anyway, tactics?
                Alex: Oh yeah.
Michelle: You've got some? Great! What are they?
Alex: Spin up first of all, and kill it ASAP.
                Michelle: That's what Steve said.
                Alex: Oh, he did?
Michelle: Yeah, anyway, best of luck to you.
                Alex: Thanks.

                (QUARTER FINAL 2!!!)

                Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome...

                WHIRLIGIG!!!

                ARCHANGEL OF THE ABYSS!!!

                Roboteers, Stand By...

                Booth 1: Whirligig
                Booth 2: Archangel

                3... 2... 1...

                (COMMERCIAL BREAK!!!)

Note: I probably won't be able to get this fight done today, but I will do my best nonetheless.

                • Re: My first REAL tournament... ROBOBASH!!!!

... (continuing on from the previous post)

                  ACTIVATE!!!

Spinners ahoy, and immediately the two robots are spinning up. They are both excellent robots, and Whirligig also won Eye of the Robot 2, don't forget. Now, both of them trundle away to meet, and bash into each other with maximum force!
                  CRASH!!!!!!!!!
OH!!!! The noise they make upon contact is extremely deafening, indeed! Now both robots are okay, and both robots exchange blows with each other again for a second time!
                  CRASH!!!!!!!!!!
WOAH!!! Again, both robots go flying, and they continue to fight another day! Very good defense there, and now, Whirligig trundles away, and apparently there IS an extremely tiny dent in the armour, and that will probably score Archangel some points for the judges. Archangel spins up again, and walks over to Whirligig, who has already spun up!
                  CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sparks fly whenever we collide! Another great hit there by both robots, and they are still managing to hold on somehow. This is an amazing battle here in the making, and apparently both robots are already coming back... FOR MORE! Uh oh, this does not look good at all...
                  CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH goodness me!!! Both bots get spun away with maximum force again, and still, brilliant defense by both of these bots! Now, continuing their brawl, the two robots go head to head with their weapons spun up to full speed. Archangel spins at anywhere from 1500RPM to 2500RPM, don't forget, but Whirligig spins at only 1000RPM, so it's fair to say that Archangel has the more power and destructability. Now, the storm is nearing again, and both bots collide with each other with MASSIVE force!
                  CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Talk about kinetic energy! The audience must've loved that! Both bots just go flying out of control... and a small scratch is made in Whirligig's shell, but it is still superficial, fortunately. Now, both of these robots are running out of time, it seems. There are only 30 seconds left in the clock... now both bots spins up again and collide with each other...
                  CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!
...and Archangel just shreds into Whirligig's spun-up shell, and that spins both bots out of control again! Even I'm frightened, and I'm sitting here in the commentary booth! Now, Archangel...
                  CRASH!!!!
...dislodges the pit button from the wall. The pit opens, and now, both bots crash into each other with overwhelming force yet again!
                  CRASH!!!!
WOAH!!!! Both robots go spinning away again and... OH! Whirligig nearly goes in the pit, but escapes by scuttling away from danger! Very good defense there by the spinner from Scotland, there. However, very little damage is caused to both of the robots, to be honest. There is nothing but a scratch on both bots here... and also time is running out for both of these robots... Archangel spins up...
                  CRASH!!!
OI!!! Archangel smashes into the pit button again, and sends it spinning into the pit. Augh. We'll have words with you later, Alex!
                  10... 9... 8...
                  CRASH!!!!!!!!
WHOA! Both bots collide into each other once again, there!
                  7... 6... 5... 4...
Now, both bots spin up, and continue to crash into each other! OH no, this does NOT look good...
                  CRASH!!!!!!
OH!!! Both bots CRASH into each other yet again, and now, they've got very limited time...
                  3... 2... 1...
                  CRASH!!!!!
WOAH! Both robots collide with tremendous force again, and Whirligig goes almost into the pit, and is teetering on the edge!

                  CEASE!

Oh! Whirligig is saved by the bell! Goodness me, what a smashing good fight that was, and it goes to a judges decision, and the judges will look at damage, control, style and aggression as always.

                  JD: Whirligig / Archangel
                  Style: 2.5/5 / 2.5/5
                  Control: 2.5/5 / 2.5/5
                  Damage: 2.4/5 / 2.6/5
                  Aggression: 2.5/5 / 2.5/5
                  Total Score: 9.9/20 / 10.1/20

Whirligig goes down the drain in a judge's decision!
ARCHANGEL OF THE ABYSS GOES THROUGH TO THE GRAND FINAL!!!

Sam: Well, you were very good out there, but you just got dumped by the judge's decision!
                  Steve: I did indeed. (Chuckles)
                  Sam: Are you disappointed?
Steve: Yeah, a little. But congratulations to Alex, he deserves it. He pummelled me good!
Sam: Hahaha. Are you coming back for the next war?
Steve: Yes, I'll be back for the next wars hopefully.
Sam: That's brilliant. Now, you've got a robot in the grand final already; E Clawdius Unum. How do you think it will do?
Steve: Clawdius is not going to WIN, that's for sure. However, it's an honour that Clawdius made it this far.
Sam: Well, we'll see how the draw turns out. You're a greatly gallant competitor, indeed. LET'S HEAR IT FOR WHIRLIGIG!
                  (CROWD CHEERS)
                  Sam: Alex, you did it!
Alex: I know, I never thought I'd make it this far, to be honest!
Sam: Hahahaha. Now, tell me. What was your main tactic?
Alex: Well, spin up and rip'em apart. That was the tactic, nothing fancy.
Sam: How do you think you'll do in the grand final?
Alex: Winning is the main goal, but I'll just give it my best shot.
Sam: Hey, that's the confidence we're looking for! Everyone, raise the roof for ARCHANGEEEEEEEEEELLL!!!!!!
                  (CROWD CHEERS)
Sam: Well, there you have it, the four finallists have been confirmed for our Grand Final. Be ready when the finallists make a dash for the coveted first ever title of... *kisses fingers* RoboBASH! Good evening, everyone.

                  NEXT TIME...

It's the moment that you've all been dying to see....

                  THE GRAND FINAL!!!!!!

                  E Clawdius Unum VS Intrigue
Tira 3 VS Archangel of the Abyss

Ummm...it's great to have one bot in the Final, let alone two. I think I'm boned in both matches though.

Intrigue's tactics: well the front prongs are further than Clawdy's spikes, so charge in, hopefully get under, and smack to death.

Tira III's tactics: You...son of a...never mind. ArchAngel isn't the best pusher, so I'm going to try to disable its spinning shell. Futile, yes, but hey, what else have I got? I'll reverse into the bassa until the ring's quite slow, then turn about and mash it with the disc. If the pit's nearby, try and get it in.

*is thanking ye gods for parental absence at the moment*

Good luck Steve`n Alex. As if you need it. :P And good writing Samuel, but you still need to be a bit more original. Kudos for keeping your tourney going though.

E Clawdius Unum VS Intrigue: I actually see Intrigue prevailing in this battle, even though Kody and I have our differences...

Simply put: Intrigue's low curved sides might save it, as Clawdius won't be able to come down fast enough to prevent Intrigue from escaping.

Tira III VS Archangel of the Abyss

100kg crazy Soul Calibur babe with vertical spinning ring vs 200kg walking horizontal spinner. Tira to be permanently destroyed...

                        ROBOBASH: THE STORY SO FAR...

                        HEAT A

                        - Wedginator 6.0 and Dante won their battle, after teaming up against Axe to Fall who then fell out of the arena.
                        - DVD and Leprosy Infection took hold of the battle and took turns destroying 147, and eventually pitting it.

                        - Wedginator 6.0, despite getting some blows by DVD's drum, flipped DVD out of the arena, while trying to flip it into the pit release!
                        - Leprosy Infection took out Dante, and sent it straight back to hell.

                        - Leprosy Infection, despite getting flipped by Wedginator multiple times, proved persistent and disposed of it into the pit.

                        Heat A Winner: Leprosy Infection

                        HEAT B

                        - A gruesome gang-up on Death Threat sent Wedga and the legendary Supreme Glory Gamma through to the next round.
                        - Aftershock destroyed Panzer Mk 4, and sent it straight into the pit, leaving it and Toby the T-Ram Engine through.

                        - Wedga flipped Toby out of the arena, and I forgot, trains don't fly, but this one does!
                        - Supreme Glory Gamma was dented, bruised and bashed by Aftershock's mighty drum.

                        - Aftershock, after blowing up the CO2 tank, went straight on the attack on Wedga, and tossed it into the pit.

                        Heat B Winner: Aftershock

                        HEAT C

                        - Psyclonized and Sithis mashed the daylights out of Obliteration, and it eventually got obliterated.
                        - Another Night At the Bar was KO'ed quickly by Archangel of the Abyss and The 6isc.

                        - Psyclonized and The 6isc damaged each other frequently but it was Psyclonized who clinched the judge's decision.
                        - Sithis got pummeled by Archangel, and eventually... bye-bye, into the pit it went!

                        - Archangel was persistent, and kept on slamming Psyclonized enough to get them through to win the heat.

Heat C Winner: Archangel of the Abyss

                        HEAT D

                        - Flick of the Wrist and The May Tracks Has You formed a terrible gang-up on poor Y4, crumpling its tyres and piercing through the armour, and disposing it OOTA.
                        - Axes of Evil poked a few holes in Dreadnaut XP-1, who then got absolutely, positively dismantled by Pure Evil: Revenge of the Disc.

                        - Flick of the Wrist, despite getting many axe blows, pummelled Axes of Evil in a judges decision after puncturing one of the tyres.

                        - Pure Evil, who was hugely powerful, came storming out again and immobilized Flick of the Wrist, and snapped off the lifting prongs to advance.

                        - Crimson Thunder was out in one hit, and eventually blew its top off due to an attack by Tira 3. (Sorry Danny :sad

                        - Former Roaming Robots Champ Big Nipper got nipped in the bud by Whirligig, and Storm 2 shoved it around.

                        - Seung Mina, after being pushed around the arena for a brief time, flipped Storm 2 out of the arena.
                        - Nitro-Gene 4.0 had to put up with Whirligig, and despite being persistent, lost in a judge's decision.

                        - Fire and Ice fell foul to Dennis the Menace which broke off the tracks, leaving Lethal Injection with a bye to the next round.

                        - Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus had a close call against Lethal Injection, but it soon OOTA'ed the axlebot with massive force.
                        - ISDSFA got pounded by Dennis and soon looked more like I saw Dennis Shatter Frank's Armour.

                        - Dennis, despite getting several flips by Die-Ceratops, finally took the wheels out, and reduced it to dinosaur bones. :P

Heat G Winner: Dennis the Menace

                        HEAT H

                        - MeCannibal tore the skirts off Manic Monsoon, and Panic Attack joined in the fun, and dragged Monsoon over to the spinning ring of MeCannibal... and got the lifter ripped off. (Sorry Dan)

                        - Exertion sustained some damage to the scoop from MeCannibal's attacks, but Exertion proved persistent and dumped the spinning ring from Kent into the pit.

                        - Intrigue, despite a failed team-up with Wheely Pure Evil, got a hold of Megabyte and made a couple of holes in. As for Wheely Pure Evil... it hit the pit! BOOM!

                        - Scarmanga sustained a bit of damage to the armour but in the end, it had the last laugh by launching the former RFL champion OOTA.
                        - Intrigue grabbed hold of WORCK with its axe and slowly dragged it into the pit, despite getting flipped quite a few times.

                        - Intrigue used the same tactic again, but this time, it was Scarmanga who took the dive.

                        Heat I Winner: Intrigue

                        HEAT J

                        - Without You completely self-destructed while trying to attack Turbulence, and Nidhogg crumpled its tyres. Of course, With You was still alive, but it was ruled out, due to the 50% clusterbot rule.
                        - Knocking Out could not put up much of a fight with Baldur Gamma and SoR Hex, and it was eventually left skirtless and pitted.

                        - Turbulence put up a good fight against Baldur Gamma, carried it over to the wall, and... FA-LIP!
                        - Nidhogg, despite the crushing ability, was flipped numerous times by SoR and lost in an extremely close JD with a margin of just 0.4 points.

                        - SoR Hex was all over Turbulence like termites, and Turbulence... suffered a lot of turbulence, and ended up in the pit.

                        - Cat with Wheels blew the CO2 tank due to an attack by YACATR's flywheel, and it eventually used up all nine lives.

                        HEAT L

                        - Sakura and Darkestar took turns destroying Split Decision.
                        - Humdrum didn't cause any sort of damage at all, and was pushed into the hammers by Autoism and Back to Rock. The hammer pounded on the safety link and Humdrum was pitted before it was counted out.

                        - Sakura and Autoism did their dance of death, but it was Sakura who survived the dance in a judge's decision.
                        - Darkestar, although crunching up one side of Back to Rock, got disabled in one side of the tracks due to Back to Rock's saw blade, and the hammers disabled the flywheel.

                        - Sakura and Back to Rock were duking it out, but Back to Rock prevented the shell from spinning up despite getting de-skirted in the sides.

Heat L Winner: Back to Rock

                        HEAT M

                        - Quaseator, despite putting up a well fight, got sent out in a judges decision, leaving Killotine and Macduff the 2nd to go through.
                        - Salamander 3, the C&B1 champ, also crashed out shockingly in ANOTHER JD, and that sent Axeon and the C&B2 champ, Sheer Heart Attack 2 to go through.

                        - Another shock, as Sheer Heart Attack crashed out in Round 2 to Macduff, who pushed the drum-bot all around, and nearly into the pit.
                        - In a classic battle of the axes, Axeon topped Killotine, despite their axes getting stuck for a brief amount of time, and Axeon finished it off by pitting it.

                        - Macduff's tracks were pinned down by Axeon's axe and Macduff had nowhere to go but in circles; taking advantage of this, Axeon pushed it into the pit.

                        Heat M Winner: Axeon

HEAT N (AKA The heat which I wrote at school )

                        - Biohazard didn't put much of a fight against GeForce and Sonic Boom, and got tossed out of the ring in a matter of seconds.
                        - Tri-Tainium, although snapping off Orka Mk 4's claw device, got its tyre punctured by E Clawdius Unum, and finally pitted.

                        - GeForce again carried Orka Mk 4 to the wall, and... you guessed it. FA-LIP!
                        - Sonic Boom put a nice dent in the side of E Clawdius Unum, but the crusher grabbed hold of the axlebot, and sent it into Pit Land.

                        - GeForce almost flipped E Clawdius Unum over the barrier, but Clawdius penetrated through the flipper due to a mistimed flip, and took out the CO2 tank. GeForce, of course, hit the bottom of the pit in the end.

Heat N Winner: E Clawdius Unum

                        HEAT O

                        - Liar tossed Radioactive 20 feet in the air, and straight over the fence before Radioactive pummelled into submission by Super Gore Evo.
                        - Axe-O-Lotl got pounded by Dervish's spinning drum, and Turbo Tails pushed Axe-O-Lotl into the pit, but not before it went into a blaze of glory.

                        - Liar, despite getting pounded in the wheel by Dervish, fought back by hitting Dervish's wheel, enough to get Liar through to the heat final.
                        - Turbo Tails got set on fire again, but this time, it was not a blaze of glory, it was a blaze of defeat, and eventually Super Gore pitted it.

                        - Liar, despite flipping Super Gore a few times, suffered damage due to Super Gore's pincer attack and Super Gore pushed LIar into the pit eventually.

Heat O Winner: Super Gore Evo

                        HEAT P

                        - Killobite smashed through the Revolutionist, with a little help from Metal Sonic Spin Dash, and eventually disposed of it in the pit.
                        - Spring-BOK did not put up much of a fight, and immediately was crashed and bashed by Rupture and torn apart by Tempest.

                        - Killobite clamped Rupture tightly in its claws, and dumped it into the pit. 'nuff said.
                        - Metal Sonic Spin Dash had a long tussle with Tempest, but it lost in a judge's decision.

                        - Killobite, despite getting some good attacks, and nearly pushing Tempest in the pit, but unluckily lost in a close JD.

                        Heat P Winner: Tempest Evil-est-Oution

                          (continuing on...)

                          SEMI-FINAL 1
                          - Axeon pounded E Clawdius Unum, but the Razer-style crusher of Clawdius clamped Axeon, and it had nowhere to go... but THE PIT!
                          - Aftershock did the good old ra-pum-pum-pum-pum on Gabriel, smashed both wheels and sent it straight to the pit.
                          - In a battle of the drummers, Leprosy Infection and Dennis the Menace pounded the brains out of each other but it was Leprosy who came out strong and shoved Dennis into the pit.
                          - Tira 3 was pushed a few times into the wall by Back to Rock, but then ripped both of its skirts out and smashed through the base armour.

                          - Tira 3 knocked some side panels off of Leprosy Infection, and finally knocked it out cold, and pitted it.
                          - E Clawdius Unum, despite losing a skirt, came out strong against Aftershock, clamped onto the drum and dumped it down to the pit.

Grand Finallists: E Clawdius Unum and Tira 3

                          SEMI-FINAL 2

                          - Intrigue got past Yet Another Cut Above the Rest by pushing it all around the arena, and finally dumping it down the pit.
                          - SoR Hex and Super Gore Evo were duking it out, but it was AJ who had the victory this time, in a judge's decision.
                          - Whirligig dominated Pure Evil: Revenge of the Disc by smashing the crap out of it.
                          - In another battle of the spinners, Archangel crushed Tempest in another close judge's decision.

                          - Intrigue got the revenge and the place in the grand final by grabbing hold of SoR Hex with the axe and dragging it into the pit.
                          - Whirligig survived huge blows from Archangel of the Abyss, but lost in YET ANOTHER extremely close judge's decision.

Grand Finallists: Intrigue and Archangel of the Abyss

Ooh nice fights, well done sir!

As usual, I don't really have the option to be sophisticated with my tactics, so just keep to the normal approach. Don't go too near anything that could be my undoing, because much as Aota's a big unweildy thing, diffuclt to get to go anywhere, it coudl still happen. Keep spun up whenever possible, and don't do anything daft.

                              Yay, finals time!

                              GRAND FINAL
                              ELIMINATORS
                              1. E CLAWDIUS UNUM Vs Intrigue
Hm, tricky draw here. The original Intrigue has sloped sides, which could make getting underneath tricky. On the other hand, the whopping great axe is prime grappling material. Basic tactics are to charge the corners and grab hold of the axe with the giant claw. If I'm very lucky, I might even be able to bend or break it, but at this stage I doubt it somehow. Once I get a good hold on Intrigue, head straight for the nearest hole and dump it down.

                              2. Archangel of the Abyss VS Tira III
Tira could put up a jolly good fight here if it can use its scoop and speed to their fullest, but I have a feeling horizontal will beat vertical once more in this spin-off. The Archangel via knockout.

Good luck to my fellow Finalists and bravo to Samuel for some very spiffy fights indeed. It's good to know that there's still a couple of good majors out there at the moment in these lean times.

*CROWD CHEERS, Sam Park appears mysteriously*

Sam: You know what? They say war is in hell, but tonight, that hell just got way worse. We started out with 96 robots, and after 92 battles, it all comes down to THIS, because tonight, it's all or nothing for these 4 remaining robots; one of these 4 will be crowned the first ever ROBOBASH CHAMPION! So ARE YOU READY TO CRANK UP THE CARNAGE?!!!!!!

                                *CROWD CHEERS*

Sam: Well, the audience sure looks ready, and so am I! LET THE WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARS BEGIN!!!!!!!

                                *Meanwhile, in the commentary booth*

Dan O'Hagan: Thanks, Sam. Wow, what a final we have; four of the best robots in the RoboBash competition are here to do battle tonight, but first, let's see how they are going to line up for the SEMI-FINAL. *Battleboard shows* There you have it, we're going to see E Clawdius Unum up against Intrigue, then Tira 3 VS Archangel of the Abyss. As usual, the two losers from each battle will fight it out for 3rd and 4th, and the two final winners will fight it out in the grand final. Let's get on with the first battle, shall we?

                                (ELIMINATOR 1!!!!)

From Glasgow, Scotland, E Clawdius Unum!
All hail Emperor Clawdius of Rome!

Laura: Well, Steve, this is your first grand final fight, how do you feel?
Steve: Fairly confident, to be honest. Not too worried, really.
Laura: M'kay, right now you are up against Intrigue. How's THAT make you feel?
Steve: Uh... Intrigue, eh? Well, it's a very good axe robot, so I'm feeling slightly nervous, but I might put up a good fight.
Laura: That sounds confident. Anyway, tactics?
Steve: Right, tactics... well, I'll charge straight into it, clamp it, and pit the blasted thing.
                                Laura: Right then, good luck.
                                Steve: Thanks.

Well, it's the crusher that does the main damage and also the barbs will make it nearly impossible to escape the clutches. 14mph and a 4-wheel magmotor drive means it's a decent pusher as well. However, it has got so-so maneuverability.

                                From Toronto, Ontario, Intrigue!
What an intriguing axe weapon, there!

Kody: So, I'm up against Steve again?
Laura: That's right, his robot is E Clawdius Unum, and looks tough.
Kody: Well, 4mm hardox armour is very strong, and it could be almost impenetrable for my axe, so I'll try to use it when I can, but for now, I'll just resort to the pushing power.
Laura: You reckon you can do it?
Kody: Probably, but you never know. :P
Laura: All right, good luck out there.
                                Kody: Thanks.

A nice low box on wheels, carrying a deadly CO2 axe to make chop suey out of its opponents, and also it's quite a good pusher as well. However, pneumatics as always, runs out of gas.

                                Roboteers, Stand by...

                                Booth 1: E Clawdius Unum
                                Booth 2: Intrigue

                                3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!

This first battle will decide who will fight in the very grand final... and already both bots going for each other! Now, Intrigue, using the wedge, tries to get Clawdius, but Clawdius avoids the hammer, gets underneath the sides with the spears, and brings that dreaded beak down! There's a small dent in the armour, not very visible, but Intrigue can't seem to get away... its wheels are spinning but there is little movement because the barbs must've snagged onto the wheel holes or something. Clawdius rams Intrigue into the pit button, and the pit goes down! Now, Intrigue tries frantically to get away... and eventually does somehow! Intrigue can come in on the attack, and already gets the axe into play! It gets underneath the rear end of the former C&B Tournament runner up, and gets that axe down!
                                WHACK!!!
Ooh! The axe comes down with huge power, leaving a dent in the 4mm Hardox armour of Clawdius! Now the hammer grabs hold of the machine from Glasgow, and drags it into the saws in the corner! BZZZT! Aah, sparks fly. How lovely, indeed. Now, Intrgue lets go of the axe, and tries to get underneath Clawdius again with the front prongs and bash it with the axe, but it hits nothing but the floor! Clawdius has escaped the previous axe blow! Intrigue redeems itself by getting under the side skirts of Clawdius with the prongs somehow, and whacks it with the axe!
                                WHACK!
OH! The armour of Clawdius is dented once again by that horrible axe! Intrigue grabs hold of Clawdius again, and drags it to the arena hammers! The 50kg hammers come blasting down!
                                BAM!
But no REAL damage is caused to Clawdius in spite of that 4mm hardox armour! That is good defense right there by the Scottish machine. However, Steve doesn't seem to like it one bit, so he drives Clawdius into the sides of the Canadian axebot, and now it gets underneath and brings that dreaded claw down! Now, it has Intrigue in its grasp again and drags it ever so close to the pit... and now, Intrigue is doing its best to get away from the clutches... and it does! Good attack there by Clawdius, and an equally great defense by Intrigue, indeed. This is a very even battle and I'm really enjoying this; now, Intrigue charges at Clawdius again, and somehow gets under the side skirts! It brings that great and powerful axe down!
                                WHACK!
OH! The axe comes down with overwhelming force, there! There is a great big dent in the hardox armour, but despite the damage, Clawdius is still alive! Now, Clawdius gets free, but Intrigue gets underneath from Clawdius's rear and gets its axe into play again! Here is the axe, coming blasting down!
                                WHACK!
Now, Intrigue grabs hold of the Razer-lookalike, and now it drags it towards the pit... this could be it! Clawdius needs to hang on... BUT NO!!!! Intrigue has done it! Intrigue has pushed Clawdius into the pit!

                                CEASE!

E Clawdius Unum was seen and conquered.
INTRIGUE GOES THROUGH TO THE VERY GRAND FINAL!!!
