To all newcomers; how did you find this place?

Robotic combat isnt as populair as it used to be, and vapourbot isnt something anyone would Google anytime soon (since, well, this is the only place where the word is used), YET, look at the number of newcomers coming here!

Joey McC, Andre I, Danny B, Paul C, Samuel P. Names previously unheard of in vapourbot combat, yet here they are, promising. How do newcomers like you find a place as obscure as this? Dont get me wrong, this new blood is great, but Im really interested in the origins of this sudden rush

To all newcomers; how did you find this place?

Well, I was here from WAY before I joined - about 8 months. I would read the competitions that were going on, which was a time when C&B2 was in its sign-up stages and Mechanical Noise was drawing to a close and when.

I knew that Robot Wars was never coming back, but i was entralled by the writing and English skills used here (I used to write Doctor Who stories for a TimeLord forum, but involentarily left after a mishap) and decided to join. I proberbly got fed up of just reading these fights and not getting the chance to write and make competitions of my own. So after a few weeks of nagging my mum to let me join (I hadnt joined a forum since the Doctor Who thing), I joined.

Its funny - I put into google the words Robot Wars Annihilator in order to look for the Series 4 Northern Annihilator, and found Chris Robot Wars Extreme in there. Ive been coming to this forum since.

I found Richard/Velociraptors website when searching for information about the Extreme Forces Special, and it happened from there...

Erm, I first got into the whole vapourbot thing by googling Robot War 7, which at the time I hadnt watched, and wanted the results, and finding Fantasy Robot Wars 7.

I think I found this forum by googling Pussycat Tribute Tournament, which I heard about reading old threads on the FRW forums.
