      In my defense, Kody - Nitro-Gene 4.0 has been that way for ages, as the only new features were the shock-proofing (Damn you Whirligig 4.5 ), and making the flipper 20cm longer than before, as the problem with the 30cm flipper was that it had too much momentum, and the robots were just going high and not too far. Now, itll flip 100kg 8ft into the air on a good day, 6ft into the air on a bad day, and it can also throw a 100kg machine 8-5ft along.

      And you can let it slide, but you can also let it move on its wheels

        In my defense, Paul - thats only one robot, so I will check it immediately. In normal tournaments where people have multiple robots, I only REALLY check the stats when its time for those specific robots to fight.

        I should stop doing that though.

          And I might upgrade Nidhogg a bit shortly - if everyone else is ready by then, use the old version, but its not like the newer one will be massively different anyway. :P

              Nidhoggs specialty is maneuvrability and weapons synergy...btw, the claw is more often than not used to clamp opponents rather than crush them, to carry them around in places.

                  The heroes were back in the static room, and in their human forms, minus Taki and Tsunami.
                  So, my friends... said Kody. Have you decided to -
                  Yes, yes, we will keep Taki and Tsunami on our team, Alex cut him off.
                  The reason?
                  Everybody looked at him strangely.
                  Excuse me?! growled Taki.
                  I just want to know why, thats all.
                  Uh, one: because they kicked butt. Two, they are awesome additions to our group. Three, they want to come anyway so let them! said Chris.
                  Right then, no need to be rude, said Kody. And have you decided upon a destination yet?
                  Indeed we have, declared Steven. The Gaul Pit, milad.
                  But of course, said Kody. The Gaul Pit it is. However, I must warn you that the robots who reside in Gaul are not easily swayed. You may have to convince them to give you the gear, understood?
                  Yes, said Matthew.
                  One question, said Martijn. Why cant you come yourself?

                  Twas but a brief moment, said Kody simply. I assure you it will take you much longer than that to obtain the next titanium gear you seek. Off with you, now!
                  Six drags of the neck and a roll through the static screen later...

                  Stage 2: The Gaul Pit

                  The 8 robots had landed in on a dirt-beaten road. Trees grew in droves, in front and behind. To their left was a log cabin which sort of looked like a tavern. To their right was a long grass field, complete with dandelions.
                  Unusual, this forestry, since we all seem to be robots, said Tengu.
                  That inn looks suspicious... enquired Die-Ceratops. Shall we have a look?
                  Just then, the door of the inn opens, and a grubby-looking robot is forcibly ejected from the premises by what appears to be the owner.
                  By Toutatis! Ay vil not hav turncoats shlunking around vor a vree meel! Out vith you!
                  The owner turns to stare at the newcomers, who freeze on the spot.

                  ENCOUNTER!

                  Shape: Killerhurtz with a flatter top.

                            Im interested in that too Kody, this is a really good RPG. I suppose my bots speciality is its sheer amount of drive and weapon power.

                            Beta-Rex

                            Shape: Reverse wedge with rounded sides
                            Weight: 100kg
                            Dimensions: 95 x 90 x 35
                            Motivation: 2 x go-kart wheels
                            Power: 2 x B42-500s running at 60v, provides 60HP
                            Armour: 6mm titanium flipper, 4mm hardox front, sides and top, 4mm hi-grade 7075 aluminium base
                            Weaponry: 1000psi nitrogen flipper with 1 x 100mm ram, 2 x 3kg bottles provide the power. The flipper is T-Minus style, but the arm goes down the wedge allowing it to act as a front hinged flipper from the rear. 1600kg of flipping force!
                            Top Speed: 25mph
                            Ground Clearance: Effectively 0 at front and back (flipper and wedge), 8mm on the sides behind the 5mm titanium skirts which make it effectively 0
                            Turning Circle: 0
                            Srimech: The flipper can perform a 540 degree spin, and the sides are rounded to prevent beaching

                              Locomotion: 4 Titanium/Vanadium alloy wheels with Vulkanized rubber tyres.
                              Armour: 6mm Hardox

                              Ground Clearance: 0mm all around with scoops on front and back, plus new 180 degree 2mm titanium skirts on the sides, and 5mm without the skirts.

                              Weapon: 2 snowplow-like scoops on the front and back, that have a little bit of vertical mobility, so I can have 0mm ground clearance at the front and back without being stranded.

                              Strength: Near infinite pushing power, Highly reliable, near invincible.
                              Weakness: Kody might not let it into the competition.
                              Specialty: Pushing power, near invincibility, reliability, can smooth-talk enemies into becoming friends, high HP, can use a cloaking device.
