after channel five dropped robot wars roaming robots and FRA live events filled the void untill 2009 when BBC decided to buy RW off channel five and revived technogames preparing for the complete revival of robotic Sport on television starting with robot wars series 8 neatly slotted in just after eastenders on sunday evenings

However many of the robots that competed in the first few serieses of rw had since retired meaning there was more chances for previously under rated robots to be able to gain higher seedings

I wasnt saying give up, i was saying you need to be realistic. In the peak of fan fic you wouldnt of goten 256 robots. You would be lucky to have 16 people enter. Now days you would be lucky to get 8. And to get 256 robots with just 8 people entering then you would need each of them to enter 32 robots. You should re think the size of this tournament and try it smaller, before you give up.
