Hehe, yeah it would probably help if we had everyones stats and things. But never mind, as I keep saying my intention wasnt really to run this it was just really my way of seeing who was prepared to do what.

It seems the only thing everyones that interested in at the moment is Nicks little tourn, which Im presuming is a lot easier to write and produce stats for. So in theory if everyone wanted, I guess there could be some arrangements to get this one running in the same style?

You know my views on anything and everything ARC style, so I wont be contributing, but just a suggestion...

You just hurry up with the upcoming AJWars 2007, Wootinator, and well worry about this.

Hey, we might even wake Mr. Fowler up in time for it.

I wouldnt call ARC so much a style as it is a scam to get all the competitors to spend hours writing long annoying fights while the writers sit back and sip lemonade.

And who said anything about AJWars 2007? :P If your seriously desperate and everyones still around, maybe in the summer but Im too busy right now.

                  New Blood... New Beginning...

If this is still going ahead...

FIGHT NUMBER 1 (technically 3, but seeing as no other fight has been written, Ill do this now).

                  FROM CYBERSPACE: DAKKON
Described as resembling the veteran robot Sumpthing, but smoother. Hardox, aluminium and a titanium chassis make up the bulk of this robots armour, complete with a nasty pounding axe, like Terrorhurtz but one sided. The hardox front armour and titanium strip should protect it against spinners, but the back end is relatively unprotected.

                  FROM CYBERSPACE: LIAR
But whos pants will be on fire after this match? Described as a non-invertable Wheely Big Cheese, and constructed out of sturdy titanium, the weaponary consists of a massive flipper doubling as a srimech, plus two side wedges to scoop up trespassers. Powerful weaponary, yes, but it has pretty low pushing power.

                  ROBOTEERS STAND BY

                  Booth 1: Dakkon
                  Booth 2: Liar
                  House Robots: Mr Psycho, Growler

                  3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

And off we go. Liar makes the first move, but DakKon is smart enough to via out of the way. A small bit of the Sumpthing like body travels over the flipper...Liar flips!...but nothing. Dakkon had already gotten off the flipper. DakKon tries to get around the side, but thats where the side wedges of Liar can get underneath DakKon...underneath...AND FLIP! Can Dakkon get back on his wheels? Yes he can! Firing that axe and getting out of harms way. Now Dakkon tries to get another attack on Liar. It drives into the side of Liar and hits it with the axe, pummeling it several times. The armour doesnt seem to be taking too much damage, but whats going on inside? Liar tries to turn, but the strip of Dakkon has gotten underneath it, and this is causing more trouble for Liar, who, as I said before, is not a good pusher. How good at pushing is Dakkon though? Well, its got enough power to push Liar towards the arena side wall, thats for sure. Liar is taking a pummeling from Dakkon, and its obvious whos on top thus far. Liar finally manages to fight its way free, but is chased by Dakkon...towards the CPZ, where Growler awaits! The jaws grab hold of the side of Liar and drives it back to the centre of the arena. Growler is ever so fast. Poor Liar has had no oppurtunity to use its flipper or side wedges at all. Nevertheless, it continues on its way and rams straight into the front of Dakkon...but cant get underneath! The two zero wedges cancel each other out! Dakkon can still fire its axe. Liar tries to flip, but it isnt good enough! Now Dakkon is able to push Liar back to another CPZ, where Mr Psycho awaits! Things are not going well for poor old Liar, as the hammer comes down and crashes onto the flipper of Liar. Dakkon retreats to the safety of the arena centre, wisely, as poor old Liar continues to take a battering...but now seems to have stopped completely! Has all that abuse completely immobilised Liar? I think so, Dakkon thinks so...and Refbot thinks so! Hes already performing the dreaded countdown of doom and destruction, and poor Liar is on its way out. Shame, we never saw what the flipper or side wedges could really do. Refbots clock hits ten, and Liar is out. Mr Psycho chooses not to hit Liar again. Instead, he just picks up the beaten machine and carries it over to the flame pit. Im afraid it wont be Liars pants on fire, more like their hopes. Finally, Mr Psycho gets bored and dumps Liar clean out of the arena.

                  CEASE

                  DakKon goes through!

                    New Blood... New Beginning...

Okay, Ill do the second fight then.

Representing Team Braveheart is The Riddler, and believe you me, this bowler hat isnt one you want to wear! 4WD motivates this 4mm Grade 5 titanium-constructed chassis, and it sports two scoop shapes at the front and rear. Alongside its 15mph top speed and good pushing power is a pneumatic rack-and-pinion axe shaped similarly to a cane. It also sports a Scotland flag up top. Its quite powerful, but its 8mm ground clearance make it susceptible to wedges and flippers. Will the bowler hat be blown away out of a wins reach?

Representing Team Dinowarrior is Flipperdont 2, a Spawn Again-inspired body shape with a 6mm Grade 5 titanium chassis. Its unusual colours may hinder the opponent for a second, but the real show stealer is the massive front flipper that can toss about 500kg! There is a blocker on its back to prevent rear strandings, and it can reach speeds of 12mph. It doesnt do well against FBSs, but it doesnt need to worry about them right now. Can Chris claw to victory, or will the Flipperdont be a flipperdont?

                    Roboteers, stand by...

House robots are the very and not very feminine Matilda with the tusks and flywheel, and the crushing power of Sir Killalots claw and deadly lance.

                    3...
                    2...
                    1...
                    ACTIVATE!

Heres the second fight of the New Blood Tournament! Its the Riddler with the 3mph speed advantage who goes crashing into the flipping plate of Flipperdont, but as both robots have a ground clearance of 0mm at the front, this causes both machines to halt immediately! The Riddler, in fact, bounces backwards, and Chris takes advantage of the moment, blasting forward, but once again the ground clearances meet and hold fast. The Riddler brings down the axe in boredom, and just as he retracts it, Chris makes his move, darting away to the right. Before The Riddler can turn around, Chris alters his plan and spins to face his rear towards his opponent. The reaction is as he expected: The Riddler turns too fast, exposing the left side, and thats all thats needed as Flipperdont tackles The Riddler with his rear panel. Even due to The Riddlers circular outward shape, the hit is dead on and Steve is smushed against the wall! Before The Riddler can try to escape, Flipperdont does a 180 and lands a gorgeous flip right underneath him! Not only is The Riddler overturned, but due to Flipperdonts continuous movement while the flipper was in action, the result is that The Riddler goes flying along the wall and right into Matildas CPZ! Matildas reaction is instantaneous, and one thrust of the flywheel tells us that damage has most certainly been caused to the 4mm titanium chassis of the now re-inverted Riddler! And there it is! A huge vertical gash carved nicely into the side of the bowler hat! What power from Matilda! Anyway Chris has not been idle, and immediately spurs his machine right away into The Riddler as it is righted and damaged by Matilda. Steve cant take action fast enough, and Flipperdont tilts The Riddler right up onto the wedge. However, he bides his time, not flipping and not leaving the charge bores The Riddler straight into Matildas flywheel again. More sparks, and more damage: another great tear into the chassis removes some more colour and applies some pressure to Steve! Now Flipperdont activates the flipper, and The Riddler being right next to Matilda does not fly over the fence, but goes straight up into the air, and comes down with rather nasty crash back onto the wedge of Flipperdont. Steve fires the axe, but only nicks the back of Flipperdont, and Flipperdont robbing Sir Killalot and Matilda of their fun takes The Riddler away from the CPZ and smushes him against the wall again. ...is that smoke spouting from the top of The Riddler? Yes, its evident that vapour is now in the arena, and its coming from Steves vapourbot! Flipperdont keeps the pressure on by ramming him repeatedly with his back end. The Riddler turns facing Flipperdont...and Flipperdont rides up the scoop! Suddenly the axe fires again, and Flipperdont is grabbed! And now The Riddler puts its pushing to good use: a wind-up, and a charge towards the wall and WHAM! Flipperdonts plate is buckled a bit. However, this looses Flipperdont from the rather loose grip of The Ridder, and Chris sniffs out the side of The Ridder, finds it, and tosses away! FLIP! TOSS! UPENDED! The three words pass through Chris mind as he smirks to himself: The Riddler flies right into the wall! Flipperdont finally puts an end to this match by sliding under the axe and body and letting rip a great heave of the flipper, and The Riddler finds himself lying on his back on the camera track!

                    CEASE!

The Riddler wont be telling any great riddles today.
FLIPPERDONT 2 ADVANCES TO ROUND 2!
