No, youre not, Tony! You just booted Steve out of the running! Sorry Steve! The tournament is full!

Anyway, Martijn requested the first spot, so he needs to put in a vapour.

And Leo, Im not sure what Hannibal looks like. Could you send a pic of it or put it on your profile? Thanks!

Team Gore Presents: House Robot Rebellion 2!

Ill enter Flick of the Wrist

Name - Flick of the Wrist

Shape - 6-wheeled Tornado, including the angled rear to keep in contact with the ground while driving up a wedge

        Weight - 100 Kilogram

        Speed - 35 km/h (22mph)

        Dimensions - 120x80x20 cm

Ground Clearance - 10 mm under the main body, variable clearance under the lifting spikes, with 0 mm as a minimum

        Power - 2 B42-500 Magmotors at 48 volt

Movement - 6 wheels for awesome traction

        Turning Circle - Zero

Weaponry - A pair of hardox, diamond tipped electric lifting spikes, a lot like the lifting spatula of American SHW Vladiator. These are 25 cm in length and can be lifted downwards which turns them into an active invertible lifting wedge. They can also be raised parallel to the floor, so they can act as a pair of classic ramming spikes. A 100 kg robot driving around at 22 mph is good for 5 kJ of kinetic energy. When this is brought onto a pair of diamond tipped spikes, this might seriously harm some armours.

Armour - 7 mm titanium all around

        Srimech - It€™s invertible

Strenghts - High speed rambot, awesome traction
Weakness - Lack of devestating weapons

Okay, Ive stalled enough. Heres a stat description (not really that detailed though) of the house robots!

          1. Exa-GORE-Ic: Artificial Intelligence
          Shape: A long rectangular box.
          Weight: 400kg
          Body Colour: Navy blue
          Speed: 10mph
Armour: Heavily plated titanium on top of some mm hardox.
Weapons: A pair of pincers on both sides. The pincers are slightly thin but are made of hardox and are diamond-tipped. Theyre also coloured red.
Srimech: Doesnt need one, hes invertible.
Weak points: Perhaps a high vertical crusher or a low disc could attack his tires...

          2. Ancalagon the Black (previously Smaug the Golden)
Shape: pyRAMedroid, but several times bigger, and this time with skirts at the sides and rear.
          Weight: 800kg
          Body Colour: ...black
          Speed: 20mph
Armour: Most of it is Ti/Va alloy but the underside is unprotected.
Weapons: Watch out, its over-the-top this one! He has two vertical discs at the front, and between them is a crusher-design shaped like a dragon head. This head has two weapons: a flamethrower, and vertical crushing ability. Hes lost the rear third disc and side spikes but gains speed.
          Srimech: None.
Weak points: If hes flipped once, hes dead.

          3. Double Big Mac
Shape: Very low cone shape (lower than Typhoon 2)
          Weight: 170kg
          Body Colour: Orangey, err...bun-coloured.
          Speed: 9mph
Armour: Hardox, but the underbelly is aluminum alloy.
Weapons: Think Son of Whyachi but with 4 hammers instead of three. This time, hes got an additional hammer on top of each hammer hes got, all-in-all 8 spiked hammers.
          Srimech: None.
Weak points: Underarmour, and if you flip him once, hes dead.

          4. Double Whamlet
          Shape: Splinter
          Weight: 150kg
          Body Colour: Teal.
          Speed: 20mph
Armour: Mostly aluminum/vanadium alloy, but theres some titanium plating on the underbelly in case hes flipped.
Weapons: Triple plow in front - the one in the middle can lift, not like Behemoth, rather like a flipper. Hes also got twin axes on the top, and side grabbing arms like Splinter. All the axes are made of hardox, and very resilient to discs.
          Srimech: Twin axes.
Weak points: Hes fairly easily to flip if you get around to his rear, and hes got poor traction.

          5. Taki-san
          Shape: Rammstein from Battlebots
          Weight: 120kg
Body Colour: Half is blood red, and the rear is navy blue.
          Speed: 30mph
Armour: Aircraft aluminum, with vents to reduce weight.
Weapons: The main weapon is the front electric lifting wedge, but at the rear is a new weapon: a 1500rpm spinning flywheel.
          Srimech: Shes invertible.
Weak points: Exposed wheels to crushers; can be flipped easily from sides; so-so control.

          6. Tira-san
Shape: Hexagonal, but more pointed at the front.
          Weight: 130kg
Body Colour: Forest green, contrasted in different ways.
          Speed: 15mph
          Armour: Ti/Va alloy.
Weapon: A horizontal flywheel similar to the SoulCalibur Tiras weapon, only its purple. Its rather like a spinning inertia, and it goes at 3500rpm.
Gimmicks/Crowd Pleasers: When Tira smashes an opponent with her flywheel, a load of green and purple sparks pop out, coupled with smoke.
Srimech: A Tengu-like arm that pops up super-fast and rights her. Might flip opponents if they are top of her.
Weak points: Reliability is one; she also has a slow weapon acceleration.

          7. Asterix Heroicus
          Shape: MW Bad Attitude
          Weight: 106kg
          Body Colour: Gold and black.
          Speed: 50mph
Armour: Aircraft aluminum, with some polycarbonate on the underbelly.
Weapons: Asterix IS the weapon. Using a front titanium wedge shaped like this (=/) and a rear inverted one when hes inverted, hell ram and slam you around before you can say Quid?!
          Srimech: Hes invertible.
Weak points: Poor side and bottom armour, poor control, exposed wheels to crushers and axes.

          8. Obelix Bulguous
Shape: Same as Asterixs but bigger.
          Weight: 225kg
Body Colour: Orange with yellow speckles.
          Speed: 15mph
Armour: Mostly vanadium alloy, but theres some titanium plating on the top.
Weapons: A high pressure hammer like The Judges.
          Srimech: Hammer.
Weak points: Poor maneouverability, wheels exposed to crushers and axes.

          9. The Watcher
          Shape: Refbot
          Weight: 150kg
          Body Colour: Grey/black.
          Speed: 10mph
          Armour: Steel/titanium stuff.
Weapons: A lifting arm on his right side and a fire extinguisher on his left. Displays a timer on his belly. The lifting arm isnt really a weapon, its mainly used to seperate robots.
          Srimech: None.
Weak points: Hes not a competitor; flip him once and hes dead.

There you are! If you want to see the original creations, go to my first HB tournament.

Fights will be up in a seperate post in a few minutes.

Shove around the big porkchop from the side, see if I can pit it as soon as possible.

Oh yeah, and dont forget to avoid Infusion. :P

Aim for Taki-sans sides. I may be able to flip her AND damage her wheels at the same time. AVOID THAT FLYWHEEL!

It doesnt sound like i can pincer it, so ill ram the bugger, preferably from the side, see how it likes the taste of the arena walls.

stall that flywheel ASAP, seeing the thing has such a slow acceleration, then drive her crazy with my speed advantage, should be fun...
let feed her some arena walls

Team Gore Presents: House Robot Rebellion 2!

                                Okay! Here we go!

                                LET THE ROBOT REBELLION BEGIN!!!

                                Fight 1

Representing the competitors is Flick of the Wrist, a Tornado-like robot with 6 wheels, an angled rear, 22mph top speed, and B42-500 Mags @ 48v, providing devastating power to provide with its two hardox, diamond-tipped lifting spikes, similar, to Vladiators single one. Hes fought Tira before and was beaten. Hes back for revenge!

TGRR1 - Made it to the semi-finals but was beaten by Tira.

Representing Team Gore is Tira-san, a dangerous redesign of the older version. A hexagonal-yet-pointed-at-the-front shape, she has a spinning disc/inertia similar to the actual weapon, only its purple. When she hits an opponent, sparks fly, only theyre green and purple! She also has a righting mechanism for when shes upended.

TGGR1 - Made it to the finals but was beaten by ArchAngel of the Abyss

Will Tira make it 2-0? Or will Flick of the Wrist avenge his previous loss?

                                Roboteers, stand by...

The Watcher is the arena, ready to count out the first unlucky robot that goes out of comission.

                                3...
                                2...
                                1...
                                ACTIVATE!

Off we go! And its Flick, who wants to avoid that deadly spinning flywheel but goes to ram Tira first. Tira glides out of ramming range, and Flick crashes into the wall. Tira moves in again, hungering for some death, but Flick moves away, avoiding the now up-to-speed flywheel. Ooh, this is dangerous...Tira advances on Flick, but Flick, having 7mph more speed than her, avoids her unsuccessful attempts to dish out some pain. Flick then gets an idea and hits the pit release? Hes trying to shove Tira down the pit? NO! Flick is trying to break off the pit release button, and yes its now off! Look at the resourcefulness of Martijn and his robots - hes using our beloved pit release button as a shield to block Tiras attacks! Tira is more cautious now, and its now Tira whos trying to avoid Flicks charges, but it wont be long now, since Flick has better speed and acceleration than Tira does. Eventually, they collide, and the pit release button is smashed away as a burst of colourful sparks litter the arena floor! Flick seizes the opportunity and slides the spikes under Tira, and lifts! Tira finds herself off her wheels, and in a truly frightening situation, but its about to become downright terrifying as Flick lines himself up with an angle grinder far away, and flies at it! Tira is smashed against the grinder and up onto her back, and Flick lands on top of her. He wheels off of her, and tries the spikes again. Then the srimech snaps into play as Tira re-enacts the Cassius display in Series 2, landing gracefully, right-side-up, and right behind Flick! Flick wastes no time, rearing into Tira, and stopping the flywheel before it gets to a dangerous speed. Tira rolls away before being slammed into the arena wall again. WHAT THE?! The Watcher just fell down the pit! Oh, how dreadful...anyway, Tira gets the flywheel back up to speed just as Flick rams her again, and HOLY FLYING METAL BATMAN! What piece of shrapnel just flew across the arena? Its a piece of Flick of the Wrist, all right. Yes, you can see part of the front of the robot has a great gash in it, and that damage was caused by Tira! Flick is spun away and retreats again, trying to find the pit button again, and gets it, but instead of gently turning to keep the button at the front, he accidentally whisks the button away! Tira hurries to get between Flick and the pit release button, Flick hurrying more to GET TO the button. Flick wins the race and again flicks the button, but at Tira this time. Tira smashes the pit button away and Flick rams her immediately, getting under her and lifting her. Oh! Tira is on top of Flick...almost, well, shes on top of him and his spike, and now Tiras flywheel is spinning! If Flick had a mouth, he wouldve been smiling as he turns to face the arena wall again. He rams against it full force and Tira hits the wall with the flywheel.
                                CRASH!!!
WOAH! Tira goes flying! Sparks go flying! The crowd oohs and ahhs, and Martijn is applying his tactics extremely well right now! And it looks like theyve taken their toll on Tiras weapon! Its completely stopped! The invisible mouth on Flick must a wide grin now, mirroring the one on his builders face as he rams Tira against the wall. Tira bounces back over and wheels away, desperately trying to find a way to win this battle but I dont think theres anything she can do now as Flick chases her down, trying to get those deadly spikes under Tira, and throw this she-devil out of the tournament! Look at this! The Watcher is trying to lift hmself out of the pit! This seems to catch Flicks attention, and he gets under Tira again, and heads to the pit, where The Watcher is stuck. He rams Tira into The Watcher, freeing the ref, but Tira almost falls into the pit! And Flick, backing away, charges again, and Tira is sent down, down, down into her resting place!

                                CEASE!

Tira flies away to fight another day.
FLICK OF THE WRIST GETS HIS REVENGE AND ADVANCES TO ROUND 2!

Coming up: Wheely Big Cheese 2 VS. Obelix Bulguous
