They look like fairly standard wheelchair motors (which iirc was what Gemini used)

I remember hearing, or reading, that Gemini used klaxon motors. I don't know if that's code word for something, but I took its literal meaning and understood them to be motors used in klaxon horns/sirens.

Klaxon were a brand of wheelchair motors, ORAC among others used them I think.
