    Count M2 in as well.

    Definitions, how about:

A Lifter retains contact with the opponent whilst it is turned over.

A Flipper has sufficient velocity to make the opponent airbourne.

A Launcher has sufficient velocity to throw the opponent more than 3m in any direction from a static position.

    Just a thought.

A launcher is when the other driver sees his own robot get bigger, and then get smaller again... Or when hes driving around, minding his own business, and sees his own robot flying by his control booth...

A launcher is a robot where the transmitter is handed into transmitter control and the robot is handed into air traffic control

We could be in the lifter and spinner clubs

Was looking forward to WITW to test out the new lifter on Chip

Anyway we should be a lifter at Aberystwth and a spinner at Enginuity if all goes to plan.

Hi Tom the new Bulldog is proving to more difficult to build than any of the other four machines, we were hoping to make Worthing but it looks increasingly not!!!I built a complete new machine but tried to make it look to the untrained eye like the old Bulldog ,,that was the first mistake!! the old Bulldog Dimensions were not really large enough to accomodate all that has to go into a 2004 machine two bottles new cylinder, beefed up flipper arms!!!!!!gone is the Titanium, in is 4mm Hardox 400 a real knightmare,
                    oh the joys of roboteering!!!!!

you must not let it dry out!!!!! or it becomes brittle, otherwise very tough but it is 15mm thick,, this new build has become a nightmare 1 step forward 2 back,but- if it works out should be a very interesting machine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                        !!!!!!! regards tony
