Hehe.. it was bound to happen eventually, even the hethens are being converted

Still say theres nothing more exciting than a spinner fight for that shear edge of the seat, breathless hysterical feeling...

I hope to god RW dont show any footage of us in the box this year.. coss I was dancing around like a mad man most of the time we were in there

      Anyway

That is heathens Samuel. And no I am not converted, spinners do not rule in my opinion, they just make for great entertainment when they meet serious opponents instead of shivering cannon fodder.

                  john

The answer is complicated but yes Two fix solutions 1 x engine drive system 1 x motor drive. Will be testing both to see if they provide enough disk speed 30kg 2000 rpm

Sam all i can say is your arena will have to be a lot stronger than last year or we will both need finger transplants

I take it the blade is 1m across? at 2000rpm my rough calculations put the edge speed at over 225mph... I can hear the manic laughter from here!
So are you going to test this one on another water dispenser then?

                        Wanna fight.

Sam, youre arena is going to be toast with 1m diameter 30Kg doing 2000rpm. Supernova packs a 27Kg disk of much smaller diameter doing 2000rpm

                          Toast I say.... Toast :P

I hope youve got a throttle on that thing John. just incase!
Ive still got to keep tabs on the safety, even if we are saying well give it a go...

                              John,
Your new machine is a nice piece of work, Mute still has the scraps in the polycarb from just runing into the blade at Robot wars (it wasnt even spinning) It must have taken about 6mm thk chucks out of our 12mm thk polycarb.

                              Terry,
Your armour will definately get a good test. I think Sam better get some more brushes and black bags to keep the arena clean

                              Regards
                              Adam
