    I suppose it depends on design, but what is the average dimensions of a heavyweight bot?

      One i'm currently helping on is easily around (and possibly a bit more than) a metre (100cm) in length, probably slightly under half a meter in height (50cm), plus another half on width. All estimates, i don't have it to hand to measure it until sunday!
      The bot is not a conventional shape though, and will definitely be on the larger side of things compared to the more refined compact things you see on things like Robot Wars these days.

        To give an idea for a 4wd rammer, Vanquish is 900 long, 700 wide and 160 tall. It's relatively compact on the inside but that's down to it being 4wd with each wheel independently driven:

          Coyote is 1.4m long with chainsaw (~1m without), about 800mm wide and 250mm tall.

            Triforce is 860mm dia tip-tip and 720mm dia chassis about 150mm tall.
