  • Roboteq and Ampflow help

    Hi,
last friday my controllers worked just fine during final testing in our completely assembled robot. At saturday morning our Roboteq (for the drive) was totaly dead. Our Ampflow (for the weapon motors) did only work on one side (the chanel one side).

Nothing is burnt out or so, they just worked one day and not the other day. I tried and resetting the Ampflow with no result, and the Roboteq just wont start.

    Any clues any one??

On wednesday this weak we will go to Amsterdam to compete in the Eurochamps. With no speedcontrollers it will be difficult to win the European championship

We are very thankfull for any tips or suggestions.

I know this is the obvious, but check and double check the amount of charge in your batteries and make sure all wires are in properly.

also if you go with it not working, there should be enough people there to try sort it

make sure that your batteries are charged and working ok,

Have you kept the robot outdoors in a garage/workshop/shed? Last time my speedos failed it was because they were getting cold and humid in the workshop during the night. I brought them indoors, tried them a few days later in the robot and they were fine. Now all my electronics are encased in a module that I can install and remove in a few seconds
