  • Final heavy build checklist.

Decided in the nice weather to finish my heavy. Please can you answer the following:

    1. Do I need a good transmitter and receiver that fail-safes on all channels.
    2. Do I need the power cables fused properly.
    3. How much does robot need to weigh in regards to being allowed to fight. Robot is simple but will add weight to get to 100 kg if needed.
    4. Can anyone recommend a good quality speed controller solution for a pair of wheel chair motors 24V - 10A each.
    5. I have batteries which have 9ah capacity. Will this be enough for me for a few fights?
    6. If I bring it to an event at the end of the summer please will someone help me lift it out the picasso?
    7. Can I use the trolley I cart it about on as it's cradle etc?

    Thanks

    1) Yes
    2) Yes
    3) For heavies the lowest weight is 51 kg.
    4) Wheelchar motors , you could try a TZ85. otherwise, Wotty or Viper.
    5) 2 fights maybe, depending on the quality/age of the 9Ah blocks (sounds like old PBQ's)
    6) No idea
    7) Robot wheels free from the surface?
