  • Newcomer Canadians looking for some help, eh. ;)

    Colonial here,

We are a couple of newcomers to the sport of robot combat. We've been avid fans and nerds for a number of years.

Steve and I (Andy) have been designing a heavyweight bot for several months now, and are looking to start our build.

We've spec'd and priced our core components. We're essentially ready to start our build.

The only thing we lack is competition. That and, perhaps, sanity.

In all our research we have not found a Canadian, or even North American, tournament. We live in Southern Ontario (Toronto area).
We'd be willing to drive across the continent.

Can anybody suggest someone for us to fight? Are there any North American leagues that have heavyweight matches?

Only HW events in the US are RoboGames and the Combots Cup-

Almost forgot, there's also a decent sized group of builders from the Toronto area that regularly go to NERC events in Pennsylvania.
