Stick the robot on its back, at the back of the car, with the boot open. Then fire the flipper. Job done.

    What?

I think most poeple only use 2 people to lift them. Best thing is to get one of the hydraulic trolleys, if not get/make a trolley the same height as the back of the car and just slide in in and out.

We use a hydraulic trolley. Pump up to the boot height and shove the robot in. Might not be so easy if your boot doesn't fold flat however.

We have a little hatchback so the boot floor is not flat to the back, got about a foot's worth of lift to do

You and the other person you're talking about should go to the gym before the next event and man up then just lift it in and out of the boot

We just have a piece of MDF that we use to get Chimera into the boot, just drive him up it. Eric and Scar we just lift and we did the same with T-Bone from Jamie's car. I think we even lifted T-Bone down a 3ft drop rather than bring him down the driveway when we were doing that actually, dont know why, probably because it was about a 10ft shorter walk

And if you can get T-Bone into the back of a Skoda or Eric and Scar into the back of a Matiz then you'll manage to lift BB into a normal hatchback no bother.

Matt, just cut off the lower car boot lip and weld it to the boot door  job done mate , just slide it in then.

think a big piece of mdf and just drive it us would be fine, its the lifting thats the problem

Re: How do you get your HW's in and out of cars

For me this question is answered in the design stage of the robot

For an example, Saint is transported in parts the weapon, wheels, hub spinners, lead acid batteries and top armour is removed first, this roughly half's the weight and makes the main body just about lift able.
Cherub has all the armour sections removable with batteries again this helps with the lifting.

I had though about that, I had a full bottle of gas and 2 sla's in there, thats easily 15kg there

could probably take the armour pannels off aswell

Probably because the chassis only weighs about 20kg max
