anyone know a good guide to wiring up a vantec for duel motor control? or what each of the codes is?

i believe ma1, mb1 are battery + and - for one side and mb2, mb1 are the same for the other

the G1 and G2 are bridged but whats +1 and +2 for?

same with the Brk and Opt

    help would be appreciated

Massive thanks for Ian watts btw for the vantec, now just got to wire it up

      Re: Vantec wiring

Cheers alan, from my understanding now, mb1 and mb2 are one motor, same as ma1 and ma2 with battery in G1 and g2 leaving other tabs clear?

or - into G1 leaving the bridge over to G2 and + goes into brk?

        Re: Vantec wiring

Outside connections (+1 +2) are the positive feed from your link, Ma1 & Mb1 got to one motor, Ma2 and Mb2 go to the other, the two Gs go to the negative on the battery, the middle two aren't connected.

Triple check it all before powering up, as you will blow it if its wrong. Also cover the connnections with something to stop them getting shorted out by a loose bolt or something.

so +1 and +2 would be positive battery and link

G1 and G2 would be negative though it could go into one since its bridged?

ma1 and ma2 one motor and mb1 and mb2 another?

the two negative nodes are soldered together. You can use one connection to these but remember that that single wire will be having to survive having the current from two motors going through it.

Go on the wiring diagram for the motors and you won't go wrong.
